Leila helped me through the whole process of signing up and booking and I was able to schedule a meet-n-greet and book a stay that same morning! Truly such a kind, responsive, and accommodating process. It was my first time ever sending my dog Mochi to a sitter and I was super anxious since he's already 10years old! The meet went even better than expected. The dog area was HUGE and there were so many toys and activity spots for the dogs to play or shaded areas to just rest. Shantae asked about my dog and explained the personalities of the other dogs that would be staying with him and I felt so reassured that Mochi would be just fine. A total bonus that I wasn't expecting was getting picture updates of Mochi having a blast! Seems like the old man got to have a little vacation on his own. Shantae informed me that he whined for a couple minutes after I left, which is normal, and how he got along with the smaller dogs and got to play with the water hose! Such fun surprises to me since he normally ignores little Dogs and water in general! I cannot recommend trusting your fur pets with Leila and her team more!! After having a…read morebad experience with a self-employed sitter, spotty availability with another self-employed sitter, and then deciding not to travel altogether, Leila and her amazing team at Precious Pet Care showed me that their high standard of care meant I could be at ease and take vacations again! I was referred to Precious Pet Care by a dog trainer I know. I was interested in their Golden Overnight Care services, a 24-hour service where the sitter is with my babies all day! In particular, my dogs are extremely attached as they are used to coming to work with me and generally being around me 24/7, so this type of sitter service was a must! I was given a link to request a meet & greet and schedule the days a sitter was needed in my home and met with my assigned sitter, Kate, prior to my requested days. Ever the worrier about my dogs, cats, birds, and guinea pigs that I would be apart from, Kate handled my bombarding her with information in good stride. During my vacation, I was pleased to see that she sent numerous photos, videos, and updates daily! Kate made me feel completely at ease while I was away and was such a great communicator. Upon my return, all my critters were happy, and the house was neat and clean! Kate made sure to take the trash out and clean up after herself as well. Truly a 5-star experience! They were super accommodating, communicative, and they took the best care of our two dogs (who can be needy and a little high maintenance). One dog is a blind senior and the other one is a little anxious due to being a rescue. Each sitter took the time to make sure our pups were comfortable with them and followed the directions we laid out. They sent updates and pictures after every visit, which significantly calmed the helicopter pet parent in me. Special shoutout to Kennedy who became best buds with my usually shy, slow-to-warm-up dog! This was an amazing option to have instead of putting our dogs in boarding (which we all would have been unhappy with). They are great at providing mix-and-match options to keep cost in mind. This is a comfort to moms and dads leaving their fur babies behind! My adorable cat Sadie is amazing to me, but not so much to strangers. However, Christine was able to work her magic to get Sadie engaged every day while we were on vacation. It is a huge relief to know that while we are gone, she isn't hiding and sleeping 24/7, sad and depressed. Sadie played with Christine, ate her wet food daily, and posed for photos to send to mom;-). Not only do I feel that Sadie was in great hands, but Christine went above and beyond to help with a few items around the house such as grabbing mail, cleaning up after Sadie's bulimic tendencies, and perhaps most importantly, feeding the outdoor cat "Blue" that we've semi-adopted in the last few months. Kirins Kennels, like in the name ARE kennels...but what sold us was Konas actual space she had...(i wish I took more pics) In her kennel she had an indoor space w/a bed, leading out to her own patio and down the ramp(pictured is a pretty decent chain linked enclosed dog run for her. she had neighbors so even though there no actual contact, she was not alone and isolated.
