Nothing crazy... it happens Took one start because I would appreciate to understand the tip expectations a head .. instead we were asked by the movers to tip.. since we didnt know we gave them something and then they call us cheap lol...so then we gave them 100 per mover.. which was like 20% Nothing against tipping and yes they were good and it was deserved, but it was awkward.. nice gesture if the company would have shared expectation ahead or include it in the quote. For both moves, there were 2 guys each with 1 truck, and they were fast/efficient and polite/professional! Got the move done both times in under 2 hours. Also really appreciate George, who I spoke with on the phone a few times and was helping me with the 2 separate moves and quotes. The last day they left, our SAFE that they put in the truck was not unloaded or missing. All my grandmother's wedding gift to me 90 years old was in the safe. The owner in san jose threatened that if we tell anyone it will be defamation. I filed police report and still waiting to see if they found video of the workers with the safe. The workers took the truck and were missing for 1.5 hours . The distance between the 2 houses was 20min. When asked where they were, they said they had gone to lunch but with all our valuables! All the workers denied taking the safe and said they put in garage. But when we said we dont' see the safe in the garage.... they said oh its not in the front of garage its in the back. During the move they would always ask where to put all our items, but they never asked where to put the safe! We moved everything out and the safe was no where to be found. This is quite a scam you give perfect strangers all your valuables they load into their truck and just don't unload. ... no need to beak in to your house as you are letting them in! I WISH I HAD PUT A TRACKER IN MY BELONGINGS AND CAUGHT THEM! whomever took my grandmother's jewels. :(
