I would actually give this place a 3 based on my own experience (lady was rushing to get out, was a little rough), but my sister had the owner Jeanette, who was EXTREMELY kind, accommodating (took us last minute right before she closed), and friendly. The spa is pretty clean, and they take card and tip on card without an extra fee like a lot of other salons. The have gel manicures but I would double check the color on your nails first. She was very responsive and listened as I told her that I was getting ready for an up coming event. She did an excellent job making me feel comfortable as she waxed my eyebrows and upper lip. The signs in front all say that they open at 9:30am. I came early and waited for them to open which they never did. I even called and there was no voicemail and no one picked up, so I ended up leaving and drove to a nail salon that opened at 10am. You lost my business for not being professional and opening when your signs and yelp all advertise that you open at 9:30am! read more

Everyone was super friendly and I was really happy with my french manicure and polish change on the toes until I got home and both my fingers and toes were covered in bubbles. Came here because I was somewhat attracted by the reasonable prices and good reviews. Pretty sure my experience would have been different if I had an appointment, but the moment I walked in I was told, "Sorry, we can't do it. We don't have time." in what I perceived to be a rude manner. There were already two other customers in a chair. Both of them seemed irritated. One already had her feet in the water and when I walked in, she was told they wouldn't have time for her either because of the other customer so she started putting her shoes back on. I called yesterday around 1:30 to ask if they had any pedi appointments available for a friend and myself (not expecting much considering it was New Year's Eve). They said they could take us right away if we came in so, off we went. The staff were super nice and welcoming, definitely clean (I loved that they opened the sterile tools right in front of me) and I had a wonderful time. I'm very self conscious about my feet, since my pinky toe nail doesn't really grow right and every pedicure I've had in the past have poked fun at me about it. I really wanted to love this salon. I had a great mani/pedi. I called to schedule my next mani/pedi and made an appointment for Tuesday. I was told there is a policy to cancel/reschedule at least 24 hours in advance. I called on Monday more than 24 hours in advance (as requested) to change the appointment from Tuesday to Wednesday due to illness. There were no appointment times available for Wed, Thu or Fri. I requested a Saturday appointment, anytime. I was asked to call back on Friday to schedule that appointment. Anytime I've tried to make an appointment any less than 3 days in advance the schedule is booked. I was told that I was being punished because I attempted to properly move my appointment regardless that complied with the 24 cancel/reschedule policy. The staff is so incredibly rude and speak so disrespectfully to customers. To top it all off, the owner's father sits and stares at you while you are trying to relax and enjoy your service. read more

For the prices, this place is great. I dropped in for a mani/pedi and eyebrow wax. They were able to start on me right away and I think the whole thing cost about $31. I can't remember if that was before or after tip, but I'm leaning toward the latter. It wasn't the absolute best that I've ever had, but definitely for this price. My polish seemed to chip pretty easily, and I did have a few spots with polish on the skin. And maybe a very few errant brow hairs that I had to tweeze later. RUDE! RUDE! RUDE! I walked in the salon around 4:30 pm today Saturday (9/14/19) not a single person in the salon, no salon worker in the front of the salon....I called out "hello" a few times when finally a woman appeared from the back asking me what I needed. When she approached close, I asked her if they fix broken nails....I had chipped a nail earlier. I simply asked if she can seal the nail & before I can even complete my sentence, she rudely said, "I' am very busy" as she sort of walked towards me - hinting that I leave the salon. I was shocked and told her that no one is in the salon so how's she busy, but she kept walking towards the door again sort of pushing me out the door. I can't express how shocked and upset I was. She didn't even let me finish, she assumed that I just wanted one of my nail fixed for free. I had a broken nail or two in my life before and which ever salon I went to get it fixed - never hesitated to fix it. She didn't even gave me chance to explain that I'm not asking for a free service, I was happy to pay for it. To give you a bit more background - I'm 8 month pregnant and my baby shower is coming up the following Saturday. So, wasn't planing on getting the full mani pedi just yet since I didn't want my nail color to chip. I thought I get the one nail fixed and close to my baby shower I'll get the full service done. I hadn't been here in quite a while and now i remember why. Terrible pedicure! I didn't get the name of the gal that gave me the pedicure. The water was too hot that i couldn't put my feet in. Towels were also way too hot. Hardly massaged my feet and calfs. Didn't even cover all of my nails with the polish AND cut me under my big toe nail. Waxing of my eyebrows by Jeanette was ok, except still had a reaction to the wax 7 hours later. Won't go back for a pedicure for sure. read more

A very professional, courteous, neighborhood-y salon. I was able to make a reservation for 2 mani-pedis a few hours ahead on a Saturday. The color selection is a bit on the small side, but adequate, and the lady recommended a really great color for my skin. I'm so happy I found this place. It's close to my house and convenient with plenty of parking. They take appointments only which is great since they take their time with you. So far I've enjoyed both the pedicure and gel manicure. I've never been so relaxed getting a manicure, I think I almost fell asleep last time! It's also extremely clean. I've been looking for a nail salon here in Pacifica for the longest time and gave up because they were too pricey or whatever reason. I usually go to a nail salon in the East bay because that's where I originally am from. Upon entering the salon for my 10:30 appointment I was greeted with a warm hello and my salon chair was being prepped. This is my first time here and I'm sitting in the salon chair as I speak (well in this case, type) the people here are nice and the place is clean (which is a must... Am I right?) Jeanette opened up the sterile tools right in front of me. Which put my mind at ease knowing it was a brand new pack. Jeanette is the best and I highly recommend you make an appointment with her. I made an appointment for a pedicure, and wax and both jobs were executed perfectly!... I have chosen this nail salon because it is close to my home and has a lot good reviews. I didn't make an appointment. It was around 1 pm and they had only one client. I asked if they have time for mani and pedi for me. They checked the book and set me down. Ladies are very nice and polite. Place is not dirty, but not super clean as well. The quality of work is not great, that's why I gave them 3 star. My cuticle isn't clean well. I have ingrown in my toes, and asked them pay more attention on them, but.. I payed $28 for regular many and pedi. The price is cheap. So you get what you payed for. read more

Located in a cute little Tudor style building in a well-kept area of Pacifica is a charming place called Pacifica Nail Salon. This happens to be, in my opinion the best kept secret in Pacifica. The staff, on this day Carol and Jeanette were very nice and the place is immaculately clean. First they immerse your feet in a hot jacuzzi spa tub as your massaging chair kneads away the stress in your back muscles. Then she takes out a sealed, sterilized packet of tools so you know its hygenic and then she trims and tidies up your nails to perfection. Next she coats your legs in heated lotion and proceeds with a very decadent foot and leg massage for what seems like a very long time. Then your legs and feet are wrapped in hot towels which is just pure bliss. Finally she applies your choice of polish and puts your feet under a heat fan for a long time so the pedicure will last a lot longer. Perfect toes for only $17, which is a better price than the other two salons i know of in Pacifica. I will definately go back! They also do waxing and facials for very good prices. 5 stars! read more
