Awesome place, I've been here for 4 years. Services was great, love them both whether is service or anything. They're quick and friendly, I totally recommend this place for a nail salon as it's quiet and not too busy. read more

Very sweet couple!! But I swear she rubbed my feet for 1 minute. That's part of the reason I go.

I went here for a gel manicure and pedicure. They were very kind and sweet people and the shop was clean. Pedicure was fine and looked great, but was nothing amazing and was extremely basic. My problem came with my gel manicure. It looked rushed, messy, and just not good. You can see all the brushstrokes and how uneven it is. I paid 90 dollars for the pedi and mani plus tip and to have it come out like this was frustrating especially because gel is hard to take off and I can't just quickly redo them myself. I'd recommend coming here for a pedicure but in regards to manicure's, go somewhere else for the price you're paying!! read more

Both people working (Linda and her husband) were extremely nice and had great conversations with me however the acrylic on my nails was poorly done. I asked for squared nails and they look more like flared nails, when I asked Linda to narrow them and make them look more squared she said "it's cause your bed nails are wide" that doesn't mean they should look like duck feet. There was no filing to correct it and the acrylic looks uneven. Also, my cuticles weren't pushed back like I've normally had it done at other places and when the acrylic was applied it was very runny which made her add even more to the point of it looking extremely thick. For my pedicure, there was no scrubbing of the dead skin, no exfoliating, no buffing. I understand this is a small family owned business so they don't have a lot of workers or more modern techniques but the job is poorly done and everything I've mentioned that they don't do, has been done at every other nail salon I've been to, old schools salons and new salons. read more

I went for a mani/pedi and it was excellent. The staff was great and it's an exceptionally clean and caring nail salon. I got to meet Linda and she was a real pro with my pedicure. Massage was very relaxing too. I will definitely be back. Thank you!! read more

I love this place. Not just because I can walk here, which helps, but because they are super nice and do an awesome job. I have been coming here for years and the only place I haven't had issues with - quite the opposite they have resolved a toe issue I had. Highly recommend Nails by Linda for a no bs nail spot. read more

Linda and Pha are so amazingly professional! While coming in for our monthly pedicure, the power went out due to stormy weather. They were only about halfway through our toes! Instead of packing it up (and I would've understood if they did- I mean, what else do you do?), Pha grabbed a flashlight and steadily held for Linda while she worked carefully on my mom's toes! I was blown away! They worked together and got my mom's toes shining beautifully in no time at all! They started the same teamwork for my feet, but the power zapped back to life! Mom and I are thrilled with our cleaned-up pedi, as always. Thank you Linda and Pha! read more

People were very nice but services were terrible and not at all worth the price. Couldn't even put on a simple coat of nail polish correctly, rushed, and overall just very poor quality. Was going to ask for a refund but they seemed so nice. If you need a super simple service, no polish or anything, they might be good but would feel awful if I came here before an important event. Please note that this place has been open 18 years with same owners, lots of old reviews, and they were completely empty for hours except for me with no calls or anything. read more

HIGHLY recommend Nails by Linda! I read Yelp reviews before making an appointment and was impressed with all of the comments about the great hospitality and customer service. My expectations were exceeded! This will now be my new "spot"! I felt so well taken care of. Both technicians did a perfect job on my manicure and pedicure. They have been in operation for 17+ years in Pacifica, so I recommend supporting this small business! read more

New to Pacifica, I had a wonderful experience at this salon. Not only was the manicure and pedicure very well done, but the owners are warm and accommodating. I'll be making this my regular monthly stop. read more

I absolutely love Fa and Linda!! My family and I have been going to them for years! They are always pleasant and make you feel like you are their family. I always call ahead and make an appointment and bring cash. I get a gel manicure and regular pedicure and it always comes out exactly as I ask. Also if I ever have any issues in between appointments I can go in there free of charge to get it fixed! They are amazing!! Good prices as well for the Bay area read more

I've been coming to this husband and wife team for pedicures since I got my very first one at their old location in Daly City over 10 years ago and I have family members who have been coming for many more years than that. I can't believe I've never written them a review before! What you should know: -everything is super clean and it's obvious that they follow sanitary regulations to the tee -Pha and Linda (owners) are both very friendly and enjoy chatting and joking along with customers -they take walk-ins, but generally they're so busy (especially on weekends) that you're better off calling ahead -recently they stopped accepting credit cards so you need to pick up some cash on the way -prices are very reasonable and have hardly changed in the last 10 years (basic pedicure $20) -once they get to know you they remember your preferences, ticklish spots, etc. I HIGHLY recommend Nails By Linda! read more

Hands down the worst manicure I have gotten. The man was ok at dealing with my cuticles and making the nails even. The woman painted my nails so horribly that the very next day I could tell where she missed spots and only got one coat o n a few nails and she did not paint the nail to the cuticle. Sure come here if you want a crappy manicure! read more

I don't live in Pacifica, but from now on that is where I will go for a pedicure! I told them that this was the nicest pedicure I've ever had and I'm serious. It's not that the place is fancy, it's how kind and professional Fa and Linda are. As others have mentioned, they are keeping everything *very* clean, which is important for nail health even when it's not a pandemic. They are both knowledgable about best practices, and also their dynamic with each other is fun to be around. A couple of other "regulars" showed up while I was there, and it felt like I was visiting someone's home with the comfortable chit-chat. And not only do my toes look perfect, but also it was the care that Fa took with my feet that was different? I am sensitive, and sometimes with pedicures it can feel like the manicurist is trying to accomplish a task as quickly as possible rather than handling a person (I understand the use of the word "technician"), but as Fa worked I couldn't help but notice how gentle and precise he was, more like... a doctor?? This place is special. Now that people are starting to venture out, if you are looking into finally getting those nails done, bring cash and head on over here! read more

Local mom & pop nail salon tucked in a little niche of Linda Mar near Adobe. The Owners are a married couple who are always pleasant and talkative. Clean and spacious salon. They're very accommodating and will work around your schedule. Affordable but don't forget to bring cash no credit cards accepted read more

OUCH!! I don't often treat myself to a manicure, even less often to a pedicure - but I don't believe they should draw blood. The manicurist gentleman, first cut into my toe, but didn't mention it, the owner took over and finished everything except the polish, which Fa applied. Then to t he manicure, which the gentleman began. He left me with a gouge that went much deeper than the cuticle and it just kept bleeding. I got another carless nick on another finger, but not so deep, not bloody. It took 5+ applications of stiptic liquid to stop the bleeding - again Linda, the owner, took over. I was not aware of the cut on my toe til this morning when it was tender and felt uncomfortable in shoes. Nonplussed that no mention was made that they had cut into my flesh. So far I don't think either cut is infected.... but I will not have a mani or pedi there again - at least not by the gentleman. Perhaps it's a vision issue - ?? Nice people - read more

Very sweet couple and great service! If we lived in Pacifica we would go back regularly!!

I've been going here since I moved to Pacifica. Linda and Fa are the best. A kind and warm couple who always make me feel special, even when I haven't been back in a year! My pedicure lasts for months, Fa is wonderful, and Linda is meticulous with her manicures. read more

I found Nails by Linda after calling Lisa's nail salon and getting turned down for an appointment.. I guess they don't want my business. Fine by me because I was starting to feel like Lisa's always rushed you when you were there and their prices were too high. So I searched yelp for local pacifica salons and found Nails by Linda. I remembered they were tucked in the same lot as the liquor store and the Italian restaurant. I called and the man who answered, named Fa, was pleasant, courteous and friendly. He squeezed me in within the hour for two pedicures for me and my mom. When we arrived we were warmly greeted by both Fa and Linda. They sat us quickly and we were on our way to an amazing pedicure. Fa and Linda were both so gentle and contentious of what they were doing. They both explained every detail throughout the entire pedicure from temperature of the water to the coolness of the cuticle remover. They also always checked in with us to see how our comfort level was to make sure anything they did wasn't painful in any way. A huge plus in my book! The salon is clean and cozy. Fa and Linda were very friendly and had great senses of humor. They also spoke to us quite frequently instead of just to each other. And the prices are perfect! I'm sorry those other two reviewers had an unpleasant experience. Perhaps they should give them a second chance because I was very happy with them and will definitely return. I guess I should thank Lisa's for being rude because now Nails by Linda has a new lifetime client! :-) see ya later Lisa's because I found a new place! read more

Nice couple, but my gel set was awful. Went to get it redone at a different salon, and even they were commenting on how horrible and embarrassing it was, which I 100% agreed. The polish was over the cuticle, the shape was bulky, and I left with polish and towel fibers all over my fingers that I had to peel/wash off. Plus, none of the nails matched. It was awful. They did a decent job on my friend's pedicure, though. read more

I have been going to this salon for years. I just love Fa and Linda. They are so nice and the mani pedi is always top notch. The prices are good and I always get in on the day I need to. I would highly recommend them. read more

Fa and Linda are very nice and friendly and their mani pedis are great. I am picky about everything and they are the most consistently nice and accommodating to schedules. The mani pedis are the best I have found in Pacifica at a decent price. No frills but I don't mind that! read more

I've been going here for pedicures for 2-3 years. Its a nice quiet neighborhood salon with 2 hardworking employees and whenever I'm there its always pretty busy. Its best to call for appointments, but they are good about trying to accomodating walk-ins from what I've seen. So I think one needs to keep in mind that the 2 previous reviews aren't necessarily accurate portrayals of this business. Perhaps Linda's english is not perfect, but they are polite and trying to be helpful. Their nail services are very affordable for the Bay area and I appreciate the time spent in doing a thorough job on my pedicures. Parking is always available and now there is a coffee shop next door now which is nice for a bite to eat before or after. read more

Like most women, I've experienced a wide variety of nail treatments through the years...from quick neighborhood places, to VERY high end nail spas in Manhattan, etc. For actual quality, Linda's is very hard to beat. Linda's french manicures -for precision and longevity -are absolutely top notch. And as to the poster with the "draw blood" comment? Just have to say nothing could be further from my experience here. I have a persistent ingrown toenail and this place..and this place only -gets it right every single time -with delicacy and effectiveness. Nothing is worse than paying money for a nice pedicure only to walk out and have the ingrown pain persist. Again, quality and consideration time after time -you can go north to San Francisco but why would you? Just another wonderful small business that makes me glad we made the decision to live in Pacifica... read more

LOVE THIS PLACE!!! Linda and Fa are amazing people! always willing to accommodate and very punctual with the appointments. They never over book people which is great, they dedicate every second to you once you are on the chair getting serviced. I refuse to go anywhere else =) read more

I was with my mom when she got a pedi. As we enter, the owner, a woman who i think is "Linda" greeted us with the words "what you need?". I thought it was rude. What kind of greeting is that? There are other ways to greet people and offer help, like "what can we do for you today?". Anyway, as my mom waits for her toes to dry, i get up to look as she is doing nails on this woman...I was just curious as i never had fake nails on...so she says again "what you need?". I told her that i was just looking to see what she was doing. I thought it was rude again. She needs to learn to manners, common customer service. read more

I've known Linda since she was working at the other nail salon (Silver Nails). I'm not into manicure because I work at a dental office. I got my gel manicure done a couple of years ago. I knew from the beginning Linda was doing it wrong because it was outside my nail bed. So she continued to finish the manicure. I came home I can see that the gel outside my nails are coming off. It continue to come off the very next day. Since that problem I never went back. Until today, going out of town for a wedding. So I thought I give her another chance. A little better but some color still outside my nails. Good thing I used my own color and I have my own UV light here at home to use. I go to her to get my manicure done because i can't do it myself. She's good on doing manicure it's just the applying of the gel/shellac that she's not good at. But other than done that Linda and Fa are super nice. Thumbs up to that. But not going to her if it's my wedding day. I'll go to fancy nail salon for that. read more

I'e been going to Nails by Linda for 2 years now. My experience has been very good for both manicures and pedicures. Fa usually does my pedicure and I find him to be extremely gentle. I've never been cut or hurt as a previous reviewer's experience. Their work is very good, better than most other nail salons, and their prices are more than fair. I see them disinfecting the tubs and tools after every customer, no short cuts here. There is always laughter and bantering, a happy place to visit. I find Linda and Fa to be quality, caring, good-hearted people. Often times I bring my daughter (now age 5) and Linda paints her nails and toenails while making her laugh and smile (they charge a very nominal fee). My daughter loves the little flowers Linda paints on her toe nails. Overall I'm extremely satisfied with the service. read more

They are wonderful! Best nail salon in Pacifica! Fair prices, and wonderful customer service!

This place is great honestly. I don't understand why people have to be so obnoxious in their reviews. They always make room for me and when I get acrylics they actually stay on for WEEKS. I come here often and they are very nice and considerate and take care of me right away. They are quiet when they do their work and don't bother me with questions, just let me relax. They are quick and good at what they do. I recommend them over any other place. read more
