I got a pedicure from here recently and the woman who did it cut my skin from the big toe. Day four and it still hurts. Im hoping it doesnt get infected but it was oozing when i got home. I didnt even have an ingrown nail on that foot. The job itself was rushed. The stone they use to scrub your feet was used for less than a few seconds each foot. Ill be going back to J and J nails because i rather pay more than get cut again. read more

The girl who did my hands was ruuushing and they turned out SO thick, they're so square and some are uneven. But the one thing I hate the most is when I get my nails done and it looks like I've had them for a week when in reality, it's only been a couple days. They look so grown out because the nail tech didn't go close enough to my cuticle. Kept putting really hot wax on me then when I told her it was very hot all she did was fan it and continue doing the same. I have been coming here for almost 5 years now and this was my favorite place! Lately idk what's going on but I've had horrible experiences. Last month I came for a pedicure and the lady cut me so bad I was bleeding (this was a pedi for my baby shower so I needed it to be really nice :( ) she didn't apologize or anything just kept going as if she didn't even see blood coming out. Today I go in (38 weeks pregnant) & I was so uncomfortable! I tried adjusting my seat back since it was hard for me to put feet up b/c of my stomach but no she brought it right back up. She got gel polish all over my toes, she did cut me not enough to make me bleed & she apologized right away. She didn't even massage me AT ALL just went straight to putting the bagged wax on my feet. She was really busy on her phone- she had gloves on while doing my pedi & grabbed her phone to FaceTime some man. Didn't change her gloves or anything. She even stopped to talk on the phone for 15 min- I think forgot she was in the middle of doing my pedi. My one last pedi before I go into labor & it was just a really bad experience. I want to say that I've gone here more than a few times and all the other times have been pretty good up until recently. The customer service is good at first. The only reason why I chose to go here was because they do dip powder manicures. I also had this place recommended by a really good friend who said that they do good work. So I gave them a chance a few times and the few times they had done great work but this last time around I was not too pleased. Their selection of colors of the dip powder is very limited but one of the technician had recommend to do clear dip powder and then to do a gel manicure overlay for the color so I trusted her to do that. The last couple of times it was good but this time recently they kept lifting. So less than a week of me having my nails done one of the nails the gel had lifted so I was told before that if it doesn't last go back and they will fix it so I went back to get it fixed and then within less than a week again two of my nails lifted. So I went back to the shop and told them that two of my nails lifted again right after she just fix the other one. They told me that they were too busy to fix it and that I would need to come back at around maybe 2 o'clock for them to fix it again. I decided I'm not going to go back because I don't have time going back-and-forth to the shop on a Saturday just to have them go ahead and do it again when I paid a pretty penny for it plus a generous tip to be done right the first time. read more

If I could give no stars I would. I came in for a Gel Delux pedicure (comes with 18min massage) nothing delux about it at all. I literally was in the chair for 10minutes. Sat through two music videos on the TV. And my pedicure was done. My cuticles were not clean at. They didn't even clip my nails. Didn't use a scrub to scrub my legs or feet. Just lotion on my legs, rubbed my legs until the lotion was no longer visible and then the stones were point less because they were not hot. It was ridiculous. Went to pay and the owner said I charge you 32$. I told her that I was not satisfied and she blamed the nail techs poor English that she didn't understand what I wanted. I would not recommend this place at all to anyone. You literally are better off doing your own pedicures at home or even go across the street to the other salon. I'm so disappointed. read more

I had a mani pedi yesterday (22nd March 2022) for the first time at Sky Nails. I asked for a deluxe pedi with an 18 minute message. The woman only used the stones to message a little bit and at the end she rubbed too hard on my legs and I now have burses on both legs. The regular polish did not stay on my toe nails as she did not remove all the wax! The mani was good, no oil at the end and the gel curing machines either had no bottom or kept turning off. I was heading to Vegas the following Saturday. All was going ok until the pummis stone. She rubbed so hard it tore my toe open. Yes, you read that right - the side of my toe had a huge open sore. I was at a loss. What do you do? I asked her to please finish and paint my toes. She continued and actually gave me more like a hot stone treatment. It ruined my day. And my trip. Heels were painful. My wife needed to relax a bit this weekend, so I took her back to Sky Nails for a bit of pampering. You know how, with other salons, they do a good job but the tech just digs into your toenail WAY too much with the tool and it hurts? Maybe it even bleeds? You won't see that here at all. My wife was able to relax while her very friendly techs did a fantastic job. This place is a fantastic spot to relieve stress and got some good quality hand and foot treatments. Prices are pretty good too. They really put extra effort into doing good, careful, thorough work. Oh yes, one thing you ladies should know about this place. They have Shellac, that new gel stuff that lasts for two weeks without chipping. My daughter had that done for some upcoming photography that she is going to be having. She'll have it redone in about three weeks for her holiday trip out of state. They did a really good job with it and I don't think that I have ever seen her hands look this good. The prices for this service are also lower than other places. My wife and I saw a place in Pacifica that offered a Shellac manicure alone for about $30 plus tip. This place will offer a Shellac manicure plus a pedi for about that price. It really is a good deal here and my wife was quite happy with the service overall. My wife would also like to give a shoutout to Henry, one of the techs here, who gave her a very effective neck and shoulder massage. My wife was very tense when she entered the salon. By the time she left, much of her stress was gone and she had sparkling tips and toes. For their work on my family's tips, I give them nice tips too. It's probably the best nail salon in this part of the Bay Area in terms of service and value. After going with my wife to several places around here and being disappointed or frustrated with one thing or another about each one, I think I can finally say that we don't have to look around anymore. read more
