Horrible experience, DO NOT go here. I want to caution to anyone considering this Nail Salon. I recently had a mani/pedi there. The experience was so terrible that I am currently in pain and unable to wear closed-toed shoes due to the aggressive and careless cutting of my toe nails. I strongly urge you to avoid Spa Day Nail Salon if you are seeking professional nail care services. The pain and frustration I have endured after visiting this salon is something I wouldn't wish upon anyone. Don't risk it, seek out a reputable salon where your nail health and customer service are a top priority. read more

This was my spot. I used to drive all the way from the city just to see them, but not anymore. I was there literally yesterday for a gel mani/pedi. I didn't mind waiting while they got ready for me- as I said this was my spot, so I thought I'd be worth it. The girl who was going to do my nails asked me to show her a picture of what I wanted so I did. After a while I thought she was going to start working on me because as I sat for my pedi, she quickly took off my acrylics a little while after I sat down (she got pieces of acrylic all over me, btw) but once she did she told me to wait. She basically skipped me to help another girl who came after me??? I was never told someone else would be coming back for me so I assumed she legit forgot. The lady doing my pedi, who was almost done at this point, told me someone else would be taking care of my hands. The guy who stepped in to fill in for the first girl asked me what I wanted. At that point I didn't want the design anymore so I went with something simple. He quickly worked on me. Oh, and Btw we're out of every nail polish you want lol. It's now literally been a day and the polish has COMPLETELY LIFTED OFF MY NAILS (2) in their rush to get me out the door I guess we didn't cure the polish well enough. So now I have to spend even more money (my visit was $115) to fix their mistake. read more

I inadvertently came here when I was picking up sushi next door. They were 39 minutes from closing time and got me out in about 30 minutes. Super happy because I haven't had a mani/pedi in over 4 months, had a cracked nail and just basically wanted to have someone clean my cuticles. My pedi was fine. I paid $5 extra for a toe nail repair. There's different types of pedis available - I got the basic $25 one. My mani consisted of cutting my cuticles. No polish or anything. Lady was nice but managed to nick me 2x on my thumb and forefinger. That hasn't happened in a long while. Despite the lack of polish and only cuticle cleanup, the mani came out to be $23. Total for everything was $54 before tip. Kinda pricy but felt a lot cleaner once everything was said and done. read more

First timers, made an appointment the morning of for pedi's for me and my little one. The best $60 pedi I've ever spent. I got the deluxe pedi, which included a sugar scrub massage, moisturizing massage, hot stone massage, and paraffin wax. Oh my god. If you don't want to succumb to one of those ten minute massages, GET. THIS. ONE. I'm pretty sure they spent a good 30- min total JUST on massaging. I don't always have time to myself and I was so happy that this place panned out. It's not easy finding a good salon that touches base with all the little tidbits you look for. Glad I found this one! My first time trying out this salon and it was a pretty relaxing experience! I booked my appointment thru Yelp for the first time and got a reply right away. I liked that a lot because calling on the phone trying to schedule an appointment can be very hectic and distracting for the technicians while they're working. I arrived for my gel mani and pedi about 10 mins early. They greeted me right away and I only waited about 20 mins. They don't seem to be overbooked and the girls don't rush their work. I actually got a decent massage for my pedi. Most places will rush the massage part and give you like 30 secs at best. The ladies here are super nice, and they don't chitchat too much which made it a very relaxing experience. Polish choices are okay, they have all the DND colors but not too much OPI. I def recommend checking this place out if you want to treat yourself to a nice pampering. This place def exceeded my expectations! read more

Where do i start? POSSIBLY ONE OF THE BEST NAIL TECHS ! Gave this place a shot once and i never left! its almost impossible for me to walk out of spa day without a STUNNING SET. I tried to put my full experience with them on here but it won't allow me to post it. Long story short, the male employee is rude and really rough. Their tools are dirty and not properly sanitized. He was so rough with me he cut my toe which quickly became infected. Lost my right toe nails 2 weeks later and my nail bed looked melted off. After another 2 weeks I lost my left big toe nail and the nail bed looks melted off as well. Idk what I did to deserve this but I've never ever experienced anything like this before. Please don't give these ppl your money. read more

I just moved to the area recently and been on the lookout for a good nail salon. I came across Spa Day and after looking at the reviews I decided to take my chances. I'm so glad I did! Lily is amazing and so fast! She's very accommodating and did exactly what I asked. Usually when I get a French it never turns out the way I want it to be. The Next Day after having a full set done I noticed lint trapped, cloudy spots and dips. Nails weren't filed down on the sides properly. (Natural Nail sticking out) at first I was really happy than I noticed those things on my hands. I got a pedi as well.. I apologize I don't remember his name but the guy tech cut my toe as he cut my nail. That started to sting when we was filing my nails down.. I was excited for this place... and now I'm just disappointed. My nails didn't even last two weeks before they broke off... Loved the people, the quality longevity however was disappointing. read more

Im never one to leave a review. Not so satisfied, and I felt very rushed. Note I called in advance to be sure they had time for a full set. For $80 a bit more effort would have been appreciated:/ Acrylic is very thin after three days a nail has cracked at point of attachment of the tip, and the paint job was not so great. Given the pictures on their page of the sets that have been done by Lily (whom did my nails) are soooo good and of quality I don't know what happened and why my set came out the way it did. Update: it is now 12/23 it's been a week since getting my nails done and I have one missing nail and a cracked one holding for dear life with crazy glue. Frustrating. read more

The first time I got my nails done at Spa Day was a little over two years ago, and I was not happy with my results of a Fill/Gel set. I asked for coffin and they came out chunky and chipped shortly after getting them done. I recently came back after searching for a new nail salon to make my goto spot. I did my nails yesterday the girl who did it for me was doing a good effort and she made exactly the design i asked for, but after filing the nails from the first steps she didn't asked me to wash my hands so we can put the gel polish on a clean nails instead she just brushed my nails but the dust still under the color, also there was a lot of manicure around my nails she wasn't going to remove it till i asked her to do so! Although she did a great effort i wish she can make it 100% so it will be worth it 70$ as it's a bit expensive ... i also did my pedicure there a man there did it, it includes warm water clipping nails and filing it, removing around nails but he didn't used any files for dead skin or scrubber for feet or even touched this area and i paid 30$ with a french manicure 25$ without... read more

Uneven nail. I was not asked what shape I wanted. Rest of the nails are decent but my thumbnails are both bumpy. She was rushing and gave me a massage before I even dried my nails. She had my left hand in the us light longer than my right even tho I tried to take it out. She just left once she was done to tend to a walk in.The skinny lady. The lady that did my pedicure was amazing and for her I would've given a 5 star but because of the lady that did my manicure it's a 3. My pedicure lady saw that and she helped me out by grabbing the pillow/towel on my lap and helped me with payment. She also made sure I didn't have pain during the pedicure because I have an ingrown. read more

I was so hopeful this would be my new go-to salon for cuts & dyes, as Leo's IG was exactly what I was looking for. I booked a hair cut with Leo, "Master" Stylist, for $88 last week, confirmed by their scheduler over Messenger, for a 7:30pm time slot (usually their closing time, but the scheduler assured me it was fine and preferred by Leo). When I walked in, Leo warmly said, "bye bye" to the previous customer, who l heard speaking Mandarin with him. I walked up to greet him, introduced myself, and asked if he was Leo. He looked so bothered and disgusted(??), which completely threw me off. He said yes and pointed for me to sit in the seat, barely greeting me. I said I wanted a trim, and he acknowledged that. Then I said I only wanted 1-2 inches off my long hair, as I wanted to keep my length. I asked for a couple of long layers for my main hair, and more layering for the bangs, citing a really subtle wolf cut or butterfly cut. I showed him photo examples for bangs & layers, he pointed out some were short compared to my hair length, and I confirmed they indeed were too short for me and that these photos were mainly for the layer examples and that I wanted longer. We were the only ones in the salon at this point. He tried to start cutting my hair without a hair wash by putting on the cape (a bit tightly at first), and I asked, "Are you going to wash my hair?" Then, he seemed aggravated and visibly upset by that question and said that my hair is so long that I'd have to pay extra to have a wash included with a cut. He took out his calculator and showed me it would be a bit over $100. I told him the scheduler confirmed it was a flat $88 for a hair cut with him, even when I stated I had long hair and asked about it. I offered to show him the messages, but then he huffed and said, "Fine, OK, $88." He was clearly agitated, roughly took off the cape, and threw it on the nearby chair. It was concerning that he seemed so pissed off... I felt so incredibly uncomfortable due to this behavior, and I contemplated leaving, but wanted to avoid any more negative reactions. So I just hoped for the best and went to the hair wash station. The water he used was a little too hot, and he did not ask once if the temperature was okay, like other salons do. The entire wash was very rushed and rough, and he literally wrung my hair out like a wet towel!! I was shocked. Wringing wet hair causes damage, and no stylist has ever done that to my hair. Stylists normally bunch it in their hands and squeeze the water out gently to protect the hair from breakage. The shampoo and conditioner he used smelled awful, like a cleaning solution with musk. It was really so terrible that I had to wash out when I got home, and 5 shampoos that night didn't fully remove it. Back at the salon chair, he put the cape back on (again, a bit too tightly at first), and used a small, loud hair dryer on maximum heat to dry my hair. He did not put any hair protectant or oil to protect my hair like salons normally do. He clearly was rushing as quickly as possible, yanking at my thin, tangly hair. The heat was too hot for my scalp and it hurt a bit after. During the blow dry, my Asian boyfriend (he's Chinese, not that it's obvious or should even matter??) walked in after parking the car. I waved to him, Leo asked if he's with me, and I said yes. Suddenly, Leo's mood and tone changed when he spoke with me. He talked more in a friendly, gentle "customer service" voice (as used w/ the previous customer). I was shocked at the sudden switch. I wondered why he didn't think I should be treated this way from the beginning? Leo very hastily dry cut my hair and only cut a tiny bit off (maybe less than or up to 1 inch) of the very center back section of hair, then essentially thinned random parts at an angle without trimming in full. So he did not first trim all my hair before going to thin out edges and a bit of slide cutting only. He measured some of the layers to match, which was good, but then he left so much of my hair not cut at all, and I only noticed after getting home. He didn't show me the final back view with mirror like literally all other past stylists have done. He also did not 1) first pull out all my bangs or 2) trim across first. He only made small sideway and slide cuts to thin the edges for some. I found completely missed strands when I got home, and it did not look good. I had to cut those bangs myself, it looked embarrassing to leave them. The almost-45-min service was not worth $88, let alone w/ the rounded-up 15% tip I left, but I wanted to avoid issues and be out of there. The only positive is my hair is still long; however, this felt like a "master" scam rather than a "master" cut. :'( I'm so sad.

Jennie did my wedding nails, and I truly couldn't be happier. I've been getting my nails done for over 15 years, and she is honestly one of the best nail artists I've ever been to. I told her these were my wedding nails, and she went above and beyond to make sure everything was absolutely perfect. She paid attention to every little detail, took her time, and made me feel so cared for. The wonderful lady who did my pedicure was just as amazing. She was so kind, thorough, and never rushed. Everyone in the salon was incredibly friendly and welcoming. I had read a few reviews mentioning that the salon is always busy, and after my visit, I completely understand why. They are busy because they're genuinely great at what they do. Even with a full salon, I never felt like anyone was rushing through my appointment. Everyone took their time and made sure their work was the best it could be. To make the experience even more special, Jenny gave me the sweetest little wedding gift, which was such a thoughtful surprise and meant so much to me. I'm so thankful I found this salon just before my wedding. I'll have these wedding photos forever, and every time I look at my nails, I'll remember how beautiful they made me feel. So they got rid of that part of my appointment, no problem. Huge props to them for not saying whatever it took to take my money and leave me with the consequences later, which is what a lot of other salons do. Anyway, I got gel-x extensions which they did a phenomenal job with. Ashley never nicked me even once. They took the guesswork out of mixing the exact color to match my inspo, and the color turned out amazing. I cannot tell you how many times I've had to fight with nail techs to get the exact color I wanted, or left really disappointed with nails that didn't match the color in my head. Jing Jing mixed the color for me perfectly, like I turned around and it was done. They also take their time with everything, and make sure everything is perfect and done to my satisfaction. To be completely honest, the price is pretty crazy. $60 will get you full set of extensions with single color at most other salons, but here is $120. I'll tell you the entire time I sat there I was originally feeling bad about the price but slowly throughout the appointment just seeing how much care they took to make my nails perfect and not take any shortcuts, and trim cuticles, and make sure I was happy with the color, slowly made me more okay with the price. Especially if you don't get your nails done super often and want them done right, this is absolutely the place to go.

The salon itself is quite small with pedicure chairs on one side and manicure tables on the other. The back has an area for their other services. It looks quite old and outdated but that isn't an issue for me if service is great! I had the most *painful* pedicure here. I ought to think getting your nails done should typically be a relaxing experience because I'm paying for a treatment essentially. Sure, there may be a few nicks here and there occasionally which is not ideal but still fine. My nail technician drilled the heck out of my cuticles and it was extremely painful. She was using the same drill bit that she was using to file off my gel to also drill my cuticles (which were not dry by the way after the soak!). It seems like a potential for an infection and it felt sore for days after. She tore up the sensitive cuticle area around all my toes. Near the end, she also used the cuticle nipper to nip some skin between my toenail and my toe and caused it to bleed. To make it all worse, the pain was not even worth it because the polish job was extremely sloppy. There were areas missed that I had to point out and it was very uneven. I would have had a better experience and result if I had just done this at home by myself. Two stars since they were able to accommodate me same day but would really rate this as a one star place. I wouldn't recommend it -- at least not for a pedicure anyway.

She even added a sparkly gel polish on top and it sparkles in the sun. One thing I will say is to be extra patient with her when scheduling. She does have to bounce through 3 different locations and she's booked up very quickly. Nevertheless, she is still super accommodating and tries her best to squeeze clients in which I am very grateful for. Overall the service was impeccable. She's so nice and easy to talk to. The place is beautifully decorated as you can see in the picture below. The location is a bit hard to find. It's between the alleyway next to Dave and busters/daiso area. I got lost and it took me a bit to find it so I have a photo below of what the outside looks like. Their apology was smug and insincere. *** Follow Up to this "business owner" response*** The response below that this person has used is actually inaccurate. I did not demand to be seen and was cancelled on, as I stated, at most an hour before my 11am appointment. I was in the malls parking lot when I called her to ask where it was and she said oh I tried to email you I have another client and your appointment was cancelled. I was in the parking lot, never went in and left the area immediately. I am a busy woman with a high profile and enriching life. They then texted me a canned response, a few minutes later, with a blanket apology in which I responded : I've had this appointment scheduled with you for over 48 hours and you canceled on me in 30 minutes prior. That's not acceptable. It's unprofessional and I'll be leaving a review. She responded with Your rude. I wish her no luck in her business.
