I had been thinking of getting my hair done and a friend recommended Salon 725. Walked in without an appointment and was lucky to catch Aileen before she left! I had realllllly long hair and wanted to cut it short and have some color done for a change. I did let Aileen know that I wanted the color to be subtle, and she delivered! She walked me through every single step of the process and even recommended me products to take care of my hair. I haven't gotten my hair done in for soooo long but I love how my hair turned out, especially the color. Overall, great salon and will definitely be coming back! I went to see Tina. She was very patient with me over the phone. Through text responded same day or within a few days. Was readily available to chat over phone about the state of my red bleached hair. I was able to come in months earlier to have a consultation about what she could do for my hair. Was very honest and valued my hairs health over making a quick buck. Kept telling me that I shouldn't have bleached my hair or let a friend dye it because it was bad for my hair. Was able to come in person months after the consultation and she had thoroughly discussed what my options are. Did a great job dying my hair this shade of brown that I had wanted. Got very close to what I had wanted in the pictures that I had sent to her through text. The vibes were okay, although she did keep saying the same thing over that next time I shouldn't do box dye. It was a pretty quick process in just about 1hr half to 2hr process. Overall would come again. read more

This Review is for Aileen. She is honestly the only person I have gone back to after the first cut. I normally don't like cutting my hair because they often cut too much than requested but Aileen nails it she knows exactly how to cut hair she shows you how much before she cuts she just meets expectations always ! I am very picky when it comes to hair salons as I have thinning hair, and most places give me a pricy but terrible haircut with uncomfortable comments about my hair. This review is for haircut by Aileen. She is very sweet. But the 3 star review is bcz I was not very happy with my haircut. I think she didn't understand what I want and when I tried to explain her - she didn't like the idea. I don't experiment with my hair much & getting the same haircut since 6 yrs that's - 4 saloons in 3 diff places (India,North Carolina &Seattle) So it's hard to believe that what I wanted was not feasible. She understood that I am not happy & asked me to reach out within a week for another cut which I did. I sent her my previous picture showing the haircut that I want to which she said "I can do that but the layers will not match". Since she was not confident I had to skip. But seeing so many positive reviews I was expecting more. read more

My family has been following Lady T around for years when she use to cut a barbershop. Everywhere she goes we go. In my younger years she use to braid me up and it would last long for my kind of hair. Now I have kids who like getting their hair braided so I take them to Lady T. Since moving to the Bay Area, it's been really difficult to find a salon that accommodates hijabis. My hair doesn't seem to grow as fast as when Liza used to cut them....NEVER AGAIN!! My sister's hair is short to medium length depending on what Liza and her have decided. My hair is a lot thicker and tend to be lot longer than my sister's and Liza handles them really well. Let's just say, she's a Jill of all Hair!! I'm submitting a couple of pictures when I told Liza to chop off my hair, and I gave her complete free reign on the style...one of the best haircut I ever had!! P.S. Let Liza know if you're donating your hair to Locks of Love so she can cut it ready to mail.
