I've been wanting to take my 3 year old daughter for her first mani and pedi and I was super excited when I found Radiant Nails. They have a mini diva mani/pedi set and special chairs designed for the little ones. My daughter was fascinated with the entire process of getting her nails done and the staff was very friendly and patient with her, even as she was moving around and messed up the paint on her fingernails a couple of times. I only wish that they had more kid-friendly nail polishes, e.g. the ones that are designed for kids and that are non-toxic in case they decide to bite their nails. I also got a pedicure and my technician did a great job with cleaning up my cuticles and applying the paint. read more

Made and appointment and minimal wait (less than 10MIN) even though there were only two technicians working on that Saturday afternoon. Staff were courteous, it was a spacious salon, no frills, and overall clean. Both technicians were polite, professional and too their time with pedicure and dip powder set. Brought over the wifey for a joint pampering session, and I was happy with the service and price offered at Radiant Nails. Booking the appointment was very easy via Yelp, and they were quick to respond to secure a time block. There were survey questions about what type of service, but I don't believe they were reviewed or used. The staff was very nice and friendly. Wifey said that her person was quite thorough, even going back to make sure that everything was perfect. She pointed out that the services wasn't as complete as some of her preferred spot, but that the affordable price was well aligned to what we got. The facility is clean, but the massage chairs looked pretty aged and the pressure was pretty low. The hand and foot massage was also extremely light, with more to be desired. Wifey also mentioned that the color availability was a bit less. While there is a fair amount of parking in the area, it is not a friendly parking system due to the meter system requiring you to pay by the hour (or a 20-min option on the kiosk, but at an inflated rate). So you will need to keep an eye on how long you were there. This is a good place to get a quick mani/pedi at an affordable price, and fits pretty well with the vibes of San Mateo Ave. read more

Visited here last year once and likely would not revisit. I needed to prepare for an upcoming weekend getaway and my usual place was closed. So here I was for a pedicure. This place was situated in the middle of San Bruno downtown and a bit outdated, facility wide. Massage chairs were old and not quite working. Very limited polish selection. Parking needed a bit of work (San Bruno downtown issue). I got the basic pedicure so it was okay overall. Service was okay overall. People were friendly though. But service offered was very basic. All things considered, I likely wouldn't come back given the parking issues and basic service. read more

I had an appointment on Tuesday for a gel manicure and I was running a bit late because of someone parking in my drive way so they were very nice and accommodating! I don't particularly love or hate my manicure but I wish it was more clean looking and shaped better. There was gel polish on my cuticles which made part of it peel really quickly. How funny... I decided to come here because I hadn't gone in a while (the last time was when I wrote my last review, so a year ago) and thought I remembered liking it enough. I had some similar pain points as last time though: 1. The woman did not know almond shape nails again lol. I can't remember if it was the same person that had me the first time around, but she asked another person to help me instead to get the shape I wanted. It ended up being more round than I would've liked... but not too bad 2. Since I changed techs because of the nail shape, funny thing was that both women accidentally nicked my fingers. So I was bleeding in two different fingers. Not the most pleasant feeling when they put the rubbing alcohol (I think) on your fingers lol. 3. I made an appt beforehand. When I went, it was in the middle of the day on a weekday. They weren't many customers at the time, which also meant there weren't that many techs as well. I came literally 2 minutes after my appt time, yet I still had to wait 25 min before getting seen. The techs are still very nice here, and the place is clean enough. No pictures of my mother's mani/pedi, but they both look great with regular polish. Radiant Nails let us come in at 6:15 before their 7 pm closing for a last minute mani pedi, and the two women working were absolutely lovely and sweet. There was only one other customer there that time of evening, but once she was gone, both ladies were working on my mom's nails, which was just above and beyond! So friendly and warm, and we just really appreciated letting them come in so close to closing. Super positive experience, and now we appreciate having a great nail place when we are in San Bruno! read more

(3.5) Got a regular mani after gel removal. As another reviewer said, they'll ask you to pay first so you don't mess up your nails so don't be surprised for a regular mani. I requested three coats but wasn't checked in as it was drying, so I ended up sitting there longer than necessary probably *shrugs. The base coat didn't fully smooth out the ridges left from gel removal and buffing, so the final result wasn't as smooth as I expected, and the ridges were still visible. I applied my own Seche Vite top coat (see pic), which improved the appearance. read more

I absolutely LOVE this salon. Nails salons are one of those businesses where there are so many that it feels so daunting to choose one and stick with it. However I will always pick Radiant nails now! I've tried other places in the area and always felt so underwhelmed. Then I found radiant! It's so easy to get an appointment and the wait is never long once you arrive! The ladies I've had have all been so nice and done such clean and lasting work! But my favorite thing about coming here is that my nails have never looked healthier! The gel always last until the next time I go (sometimes a month long-would have been longer but it was time to get an update)! And because of the quality and care here, my nails have naturally grown sooo long! I still can't believe they are my nails! I'd also like to add that my job has a lot of lifting of boxes and I also box for exercise. So really really quality work! I would recommend anyone to get their nails done here! read more

I am usually able to get an appointment when I call! I am super basic and only get gel manis and regular pedis and can't speak to any other services, but they do a great job each time and my nail polish lasts for a along time. Wan (prob misspelled, sorry!) does my manicures and she can shape my natural nails really nicely. She's quick, but doesn't rush and will make sure the nails are smooth. Very chill in the salon. Was in desperate need to get my nails done as I could not stand them any longer. After conducting a Yelp search, decided to make an appt with Radiant Nails Spa as it is close to my work place. Messaged them via Yelp and was able to secure an appt within 15-20 minutes - quick response. Upon arrival, they check your temperature and ask that you apply hand sanitizer before handling any of the polishes. I also observed them spraying down the chairs and foot baths, before applying the plastic liner, after each customer. I really appreciated that they took their time with both the pedicure and manicure, and found their work to be really neat. I did not feel like they rushed through the process but rather took their time to ensure good work. They offer combo specials (check out their website), so my regular manicure and pedicure came out to $40. When we're closer to the summer (aka sandal weather), I will return to try their callus pedicure service. Overall, I'm very pleased. read more

Pedicure was okay, for $48 I expected more and also didn't cut around the edges of the big toes as every other place I've gone to does. Gel polish kept going around my toes and still have residue from it. She seemed newer which that's cool but don't charge so much if that's the case and she's still learning because it wasn't a quality pedicure. Will be going home and cutting what was missed. Super quiet place, they keep the AC on even though it's freezing outside. Whenever I need a quick mani/pedi for a reasonable cost, on a Monday... Radiant Nails is my go-to spot! Monday's are a day most places in the area are closed. I've had no problem just walking in and getting what I need done, which is always a plus because I don't ever plan ahead to get a mani/pedi. Depending on how busy they are, they usually have two people work on me at the same time. You'll leave with your hands and feet feeling extra soft and fresh! The massage chairs are a nice touch, and they still look relatively new. The whole process takes about 45-60 min. Standard mani/pedi is will cost you $35+ tip. Made an appointment on a Saturday during lunch and it was perfect. Had me in a chair immediately and began my pedicure. I asked for the hot stone deluxe pedi. Compared to other salons with hot stone deluxe, this place was lacking. They barely scrub my legs with the sugar scrub or the mask. And usually with the deluxe it comes with a 10 min hot stone massage. But I was only massages with the stone for 2 minutes on each leg. Which was a bummer. Didn't feel like I got the most of the hot stone. But I did get Ann as my technician. I asked her for really short on my toes. And she did a great job. She made sure the length was to my liking and she double checked that they were the same length. In addition she did a really good job at painting my toes. Smooth and even. Non on my skin and no spots missing. In all I would come back for Ann since she did a great job. Super Impressed! Called and made an appointment just this evening and they got me in at 6:30pm. I checked in and my temperature was taken, sanitized hands and picked my color. It has been at least 8 months since I had a gel mani/reg pedi so I was so excited. I typically am loyal to Glen Park Nails in SF but decided to venture out more in this area since I live in Daly City. I am so glad I found this place on Yelp. My appointment was for 6:30pm, noticing they close at 7pm I thought okay might be a little rushed to get me out but I needed my nails done, I didn't mind. Haha I have to say the woman who did my nails was fantastic super detailed and didn't rush at all. I appreciated them for staying open late to accommodate me. I have two little girls and my oldest who is three is so excited for a girls day with mom. She literally made me paint her nails as soon as I got home. I showed her the pictures of the pink spa chairs and she is so excited, needless to say I am so excited I found a place we can both enjoy and grab lunch in the super cute area. I just want add that even prior to COVID-19, Radiant Nails Spa were already on top of being clean, the foot spa machine has plastic linings that gets replaced and the machine are also sanitized and brush.
