Michael U.

Went to get some bark from Pacific Topsoils. They were extremely easy to work with and fast. They helped me figure out which bark to get and how much was needed. Price was outstanding! I was only there for about 5 minutes total before I was loaded up and headed home. I highly recommend Pacific Topsoils. Oh, yard looks great!

This was such a great idea. Spreading 10 yards would have killed us. The blower service was the best

He'll ignore you while you're clearly the only person there and talk to other coworkers. He changes the hours whenever he feels like it. I can't tell you how many times I've rushed to get there b4 3 ( posted hours are 5 I think. But ed says he stops taking customers @3 so they can clean up) it's never clean from what I see. Last time I got there b4 three but Ed said he stopped at 2 today. All his guys are home!?! doing it at two or no OK pleasure not doing business with you everybody I've encountered that works there which is very few people. They're all pricks. They all treat customers like shit they rip you off and be honest, I really don't care scrap I'm not trying to get a lot of money. I'm just trying to not pay to throw my metal away, but he's just a liar. I can honestly say every time I've been there and even seen him deal with other customers he is a dick. There is a guy that does that nonferrous his name is Tom, I think Tom he's a good guy I think sometimes Ed's shittiness rubs off on him and he starts trying that out but for the most part he's always treated me with respect but one good guy doesn't save the bunch. They're all a bunch of pricks I'll never do business with them again ever And why would I there's better options that are close and closer to home

I first heard of this organization at the parent's group at work recommending it as an organization to donate goods. I would religiously once a month head to their Issaquah hub on their Saturday morning hours to donate gently used clothes that our little people had outgrown along with toys and other accoutrements. With my then late aged elementary school daughter we were able to volunteer together and it was a great way to bond and show her the impact she could have as were sorting clothes on a Saturday morning or grouping clothes and other items for children many at a similar age to she. Most recently as I've decided to take a break from the hectic world of finance, it has been a great organization to be able to go in for a one time volunteer opportunity during a weekday. It has been great to be surrounded by kind people working together to try to help.

Since the dawn of time, we have come to learn that when kids grow, they generally grow out of their…read moreclothing so fast, even a cheetah would be in awe. Yes, it's known that what you buy for them, will become too small. When this happens, you may be in a bind, as to where to take your cool, yet ever too small clothing. The answer, donate to Eastside Baby Corner. This also holds true for other baby/toddler/kiddo things, like toys, playsets, baby food (new of course) and other youth related item. One thing to note, they don't actually give your stuff away to families... they work with local non-profits and hospitals to find those in need, the distribute through them. Think of them as the best donated baby stuff distributor ever, with a goal of helping the dis-advantaged. Just a note, they are located within a complex of storage spaces, so it may be off putting at first, but drive right in, the place is well labeled. For the Donation Giver: Washing your baby clothing; Bag everything up, find out when they are open, and stop on by. Try to keep it to kiddo clothing/kiddo things/kiddo stuff, they can't actually do anything with adult clothing, except give to another organization. For the Volunteer: They have plenty of opportunities, including sorting, cleaning clothing, packing, and even repairing old baby toys/seats/gadgets. They always welcome the help, and know you are directly helping to impact the community across the eastside of the Puget sound. I have volunteered here, and they are great! Look, you have old baby stuff, you just can't stand to throw away... instead donate it to Eastside baby.
