My bf and I both went to Pacific Table for the Solar Eclipse watch. I personally don't enjoy seafood, but our server Samantha made sure to give us a great recommendation on the pacific dip. I surprisingly enjoyed it! I also had the organic chicken with the sautéed broccoli which was a 10/10! My bf had the California burger and he was too stuffed on the first half, but he ate it up! Interior decorations are so cute (a clean and modern seaside theme) and outdoor seating faces the canal. We tried six items: appetizers - spicy shrimp and fried oysters, entrees - trout almondine, miso salmon, Waldorf salad and chilaquiles. I highly recommend the spicy shrimp. I wish I had gotten fresh oysters than the fried ones. Trout almondine is a bit expensive for the portion you get, it's a butterflied filet with a thin layer of meat. Took a good drive out here to try this nice restaurant and enjoy the water view with boardwalk . We sat outside on the patio and we were served by Pedro and he's attentive and great. I've also ordered via DoorDash (always efficient and free delivery when you're in the area) and dined indoor and outdoors and every time have been more than pleased. The servers are very friendly and accomodating. TRY their clam chowder - it is so flavorful and comes with delicious hot bread to dip in that yummy soup. ALSO I love their shrimp and the pacific dip with a side of fresh avocado. All of their wine selections are wonderful and not bad price wise - I recommend the house Pinot Grigio during happy hour. Our party chose to be seated outside, and there is a nice body of water right in front of the outdoor patio. We were warmly greeted by our waitress and we jumped into adult beverages. I went with a glass of the Intrinsic Cab and it was robust and velvety. For my starter, I went with a bowl of their S.F. Clam Chowder, which was rich, creamy and superb. For my entree, I went with their San Francisco Cioppino(white wine tomato broth). Notice a theme here with my dishes(pure coincidence). Service throughout our long meal was fantastic and quick. Mrs and I had late lunch here today while waiting on the kiddos who were at the convention center. Arrived @ 2:45pm and sat immediately. Server was excellent, but alas I have forgotten his name. He knew the menu very well, was very polite, efficient, personable, knew how to pre-bus a table and made good recommendations. We ordered the fabulous shrimp cocktail as an appetizer. 6 huge shrimps cooked just right and sauces on the side, all served on a large crushed ice plate. Then we had the pan fried lemon sole and the chef special (grilled redfish in a creole sauce), with some great ice tea. Also had one expresso martini. There is some street parking nearby but you do have to walk a little bit to get to the restaurant. We came by close to closing time, but the hostess was super nice and seated us anyways. If it's not too cold (although I'm sure if it wasn't so close to closing time, they would have the heater lamps on), would recommend sitting outside, the view is nice. Inside gives more of a classy vibe. Raw oysters: two types and most tasted pretty fresh. Not a big oyster person, but my friend did mention some weren't as well cleaned and the oyster itself is smaller than some of the others we have had. Clam chowder: well seasoned and nice and hot. I had a Greek salad ($6) and fish (can't remember name if fish) and chips (rosemary garlic fries) price, I don't remember and DID NOT care because this was the most perfectly cooked battered fish. I usually don't like battered fish but I thought I would try and I'm glad I did! My friend had a kale salad and California roll. 6) That Greek salad was the star of the night. I know you're thinking "A salad?". I lie to you not that this was masterfully tossed with dressing. It had the freshest chunks, not slices, of cucumbers and tomatoes. Everything was delicious. 7) Dessert - We ate some much that we did not have room for dessert because I really wanted to try these peanut butter ice cream sandwich!!! 8) $$$ - Reasonably priced. Our total bill for two drinks, two appetizers, two salads, two entrees was only $120. CONS 1) Restaurant is not viewable from the street and there isn't a sign that says to park in the garage (free and easy parking).
