Pacific stereo is an exceptional place for car audio. Not only do they have a wide variety in selection, their customer service is excellent. Chris helped me at the shop and was phenomenal. I bought a used RV that had to have a SiriusXM receiver module installed so the head unit could receive the SiriusXM signal. The module I needed was no longer being manufactured but after I got the part information I needed from Memo and the great guys at Pacific Stereo, I found it online and brought it in for Pacific Stereo to install. They did a great job with the module and antenna install. Saved me from having to replace the entire head unit. I'll be back to get the speakers upgraded. Thanks Memo and the guys at Pacific Stereo. read more

What's not to like? Lots of inventory, great staff, super friendly and knowledgeable. Andy answered all my questions, without ever giving any indication of pressure to buy or be up sold. After purchase and installation, I couldn't be happier! Beautiful, meticulous job, I will definitely be coming back, and referring friends! read more

Chris gave me a great deal on fixing my fog lights, I highly recommend anyone to go to him.

I am Writing this by personal experience , I was recommended to pacific stereo by my co- worker . I called around the riverside area shopping for a navigation system . Pacific stereo was the only audio shop that spent time with me on my options.. The salesman really spent some time with me , he answered all my questions promptly. I would recommend them to my family and friends . read more

Avoid ever doing mail order with Pacific Stereo. Terrible customer service. Ordered parts and paid for expedited shipping. Item not sent out the same day and eventually took 5 days to reach me. Sending item back at my expense. No refund for late shipping and they extract a 15% restocking fee. Take your business elsewhere! read more

This place is a joke. I purchased a gift certificate for my husband to get a car alarm installed. When we went in to get it installed they told us the price was actually going to be more than the certificate amount, due to a manifold needed. When I purchased it I made sure to ask that this price would cover everything including installation. They assured me it would. Their prices are different for everyone who walks in the door. When I asked to speak with a manager the sales person said he was the manager. I believe he said his name was Chris. I asked for our money back because they were trying to rip us off. He said he couldn't do anything about it, and we would have to speak with the guy who sold me the certificate. If he's the manager isnt he supposed to deal with his employees quoting wrong prices? He also told me they don't give refunds. We were walking out the door extremly upset and then he told us that he would do it for us. We said great because we just drove an hour and a half to get here. He then told us that they didn't have time today, so we needed to make an appointment. When we called before we came in they said they dont make appointments and that they could get us in today no problem. My husband had to drive back that Saturday to have it installed. If we could have gotten our money back I wouldn't have let these crooks touch our truck, but I didn't want to loose the money I spent. Even their neighbors at Big O Tires were saying how they're a rip off. Even though Best Buy is more expensive they have a set price. Don't give them business, they will rip you off especially if youre a female. read more

For all Pacific Stereo employees at Riverside, Joe (Appleman), and Chris. My experience with them was like the Apple store of stereos, great customer service, great products, and a place I would certainly come back to do business with. Check their YouTube videos to check their installations, most elaborate at affordable prices. YouTube was what got my attention, then I went to visit the store in person to check what they can do with my 2012 Toyota Tundra. They did heck of a clean job, my bass sounds perfect and my kenwood dnx9990HD fits very clean and neat, very user friendly Garmin navigation system. Unfortunately, I have bad credit but fortunately they have a NO CREDIT CHECK so I was able to purchase everything I wanted. I would give these guys 10 stars except yelp has a limit of 5, thank you guys, and special thanks for Chris who spent some time showing me how to use the system after it was installed. I really do appreciate you spending time with me, sorry I was little slow. See you guys next time. read more

I just went in and purchased a set of car speakers (Rockford Fosgate R16775X2) in which I was told by the store employee that they are $90 speakers and was getting them for a discount of $49.99. Well, I trusted the guy and took them home to find out the employee was not as honest as I was hoping. I found these speakers usually run $30 and also had the original speaker I was replacing to make sure the size would be correct. After getting home and seeing that they have in bold at the bottom of the final invoice "ALL SALES FINAL, NO REFUND I called and was told I could bring the speakers in for ones that would, but store policy is not to give a refund. So I drove back to the store and was greeted by a different employee (lucked out the other I bought them from was in the back of store) and without hesitation was given a refund to my CC after showing my original speaker was not as the size speakers I was sold. Thank you to the second guy. read more

I went in here on 5/31/2013 to look at getting my father's stereo replaced in his truck, we had just left Best Buy down the street after having a less than thrilling experience, we decided to come here. We walked in and were immediately impressed by the sheer size of the store and the amount of product they had. An associate named Chris approached us and asked if he could help us out, I informed him that we were looking for a in-dash stereo with certain features, he gave us four different options between a Sony, Alpine, Kenwood and Pioneer. After talking things over with him he told us he felt like the Alpine would be the best bet for what my father was looking for. We decided to go with that, had the stereo installed and were extremely pleased with the results. The new stereo looks and sounds a hundred times better than the 10 year old one that was previously in there. Could not be happier with the service or product, I would highly recommend these guys to anyone! read more

I visited this shop after having a horrible experience with another shop doing a completely awful job with installing an alarm, subs, amp, and component speakers. Joe (owner) spoke with me and we discussed all the issues I was having. He could not have been more helpful! He had his installers look at the issues and resolved them for me. I actually found another issue later on and revisited the shop and once again Joe had it taken care of. This place has many people working there, whether it's the guys inside with the products or the guys outside doing the installing, they all are very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. This is a serious shop with serious people that take the customer seriously. It really doesn't matter where you live....even if it is a few extra miles to drive to Pacific Stereo...it will be worth it. If you are looking for quality products (high end or low end) they got it....if you looking for professional help and installation they have it....if you want to be totally satisfied when you leave, this is the place!!! Great job Joe and the rest of Pacific Stereo...you have definitely earned my business!!!! read more

I had the pleasure to be serviced by Andy to install an Alpine INE-w957HD system with back-up camera on my 2008 BMW 3-series. Andy is a very professional, knowledgeable, and honest person. Certainly I did my research before showing up here so at the very least, I had some idea about the price ranges and the products being sold here, and I would strongly encourage everybody to do so, so that you won't waste your and their time. I don't know about the other staff, but Andy didn't try to up-sell me on anything and not a pushy salesman, either. I had decided on what product to install in my car on my own after he showed me some models they were having for display in the store. They tried to finish their work within the same day but ran into some issues with wiring so I had to come back the next day to pick up my car. It was all good. At least they were trying to do things right, and that I appreciate the most. Thanks, Pacific Stereo; and thanks, Andy. read more

First off I would like to give a big thanks to Meemo and that one install guy with the braid on his chin because he looked very excited when he found out what type of system he was going to be working with. as soon as I walked into this shop Meemo and i got straight to business I explained to him my protection light keeps coming on and he offered to troubleshoot my system just so happens to be my amp was bad. I wanted to stick with Alpine so he recommended me the Alpine PDX M12 amplifier I was kind of sketched because it was so small but he reassured me that this was a perfect fit for my Alpine Type r's 12" so I add a set of Alpine Type R 6.5 components door speakers but I still was not happy because my original amp had blown, Meemo said that he would have the install guy look through the whole system to figure out why the original amp blew out now I was excited and added a extended warranty thanks again if your looking to get a system big or small I would most definitely go to Pacific Stereo and ask for meemo. read more

I recommend everyone go to Pacific Stereo for their stereo and alarm system issues, installs, and purchases. The moment I walked in I was immediately helped, although I did not have am appointment. I was having technical issues with my stereo, Pioneer AVIC-Z120BT, and my factory Toyota alarm. I went to Toyota for my alarm issues and they could not determine the issue and wanted to charge $125 to give a diagnosis. And the dealer I purchased my vehicle spent hours trying to fix the faulty bluetooth on my stereo to no avail. Upset and frustrated I was going to have to pay several hundred to repair these issues I drove into Pacific Auto, after finding them randomly on Google, and was helped by ANDY. He fixed everything in like 8 minutes, I am not joking. I was so sastified I told him I loved him (lol, but I really said that), and opened this Yelp account just to write a review for him and his store. Again, thank you ANDY and Pacific Auto. .. Your happiest customer ever! read more

So I was having some trouble with my capacitors draining to 0.0 and flashing after playing the stereo for 5 min. This was happening for about a week now and I couldn't figure out why. I thought my caps were dying so I bought a new one. That didn't work. Still drained. The strange part was that when my car was running and the stereo was off the capacitors read 14.5 like they should. So I called pacific stereo and explained to someone, I believe his name was Andy and he was quick to give me a few reasons why I could be having this problem. Well one came to my attention that I didn't even think of. He said I could have a dirty connection up front. So I opened my hood and sure enough on my inline fuse there was a nasty dirty connection. Problem solved and system is working great again and Andy was able to help me right over the phone. Great knowledge and awesome help. Thank you very much. You and your store rock. Much love. read more

After hearing from a friend that Pacific Stereo sold off road truck accessories and lift kits, I went in one day to get a quote on a suspension lift for my 2015 Toyota Tacoma. I told the associate that I wanted my truck lifted and he recommended doing it the right way with quality parts and equipment. He showed me a few things and I agreed with his choice of suspension lift. The price was in my range and it was for less than I was getting quoted for at other places for the same thing if not less quality. I made a deposit and returned a week later to drop my truck off. The guys at the shop kept me updated during the day and I was able to pick my truck up the same day and as promised. My truck drives and looks great! I would not only recommend Pacific Stereo for their stereo equipment but even for their off-road truck suspension and lift kit needs! I will definitely return there for business. read more

i didnt like their service at all , they trick you into buying things and then they would not return your money back , just horrible
