messages from business to me - The image includes a sign titled 'Vehicle Storage Fees' with details about charges for leaving a vehicle outside overnight, and a text message conversation discussing a dispute over car speakers and a vehicle being locked outside. The sign mentions fees starting at $1.00 per day for inside storage and $0.50 per day for outside storage. The text messages contain aggressive language and warnings about legal action.

Hello there to everyone. I am here to write a review on this location and specifically for the owner. I had my car at a shop next door (being fixed/restored) and I went to go ask this man about a system. I advised him of what I wanted and he advised that he is almost a documented genius and did not listen to me on the brands that I wanted. Anyways, what he did to me was awful. He promised me the stars and the moon and stated do to others as you would others to do to you over and over and stated that he was going to be the easiest to work with. Long story short, he changed my order and stated that the car called for it and refused to refund me the difference. I called him out on that and refused and got upset and started calling me names (used profanity). I told Alan that it was only fair since my bill was $6,300 plus tax and states he only takes cash. He then refused to let my car go unless his bill was paid in full and did not even finish my center console which was part of the bill. This man is evil and like everyone knows and says that Karma is a bitc*. This guy will get his with authorities and he is getting older and he will get his with a crazy customer because I know he does this and not only to me. Stay away and look at the messages he sent me and I told him to not offend me. If he did something to you report him as this will be the only way of doing business. This guy is either his way or the highway even when he is in the wrong.

Here's my '74. I'll try to get a pic of the "stock" / "stealth" stereo Alan installed up soon!

The Audio Shoppe was the perfect place to help with a "nitch" stereo install on my '74 Corvette. I wanted something modern and high powered, car stereo wise, but something that wouldn't attract attention to someone passing by and glancing in my car window for a quick smash and grab. A long time ago, I had an expensive radio ripped out of my dash, causing not only the expense of the lost car stereo, but also for extensive dash repair. I also wanted to keep the original look of my Stingray center console. Alan had the perfect suggestion! I ended up getting a "stock" looking radio that looked completely factory... UNTIL the unit powered on. And then it became a modern digital high powered car stereo. Super cool! It totally looks like the (worthless) factory radio when the car's just parked there! Even the front and rear speaker systems aren't visible from the window view, super "stealth"! The quality of labor and attention to detail on my "factory" radio couldn't be beat. And I felt the labor price was more than fair. The shop seemed to be packed with custom show cars and the displays in the lobby gave you examples of how "high end" you can go with your car stereo. Care about your car and it's audio system? Then this is the place to go!

I chose this shop because the Yelp reviews mentioned honest staff and fair pricing, but my experience didn't match what I expected. The staff was nice, but the process didn't feel transparent. I originally went in on Saturday just to get quoted for replacing the four door speakers. During the quote, Mike suggested I also get a box and an amplifier to "get the proper sound," which increased the total price. I told him I wasn't getting any work done that day and planned to come back Sunday for the actual appointment. Even so, Mike told me I needed to pay the full price upfront on Saturday. I questioned why I should pay for a service I wasn't receiving that day, and instead of adjusting anything, I was told I needed to leave a deposit, half of the full quote, which was over $1,800. When I came back on Sunday, I only had time to replace the four door speakers and skipped the box and amplifier. I asked if I needed a new quote since the job was now much smaller, and was told no, I was good to go. For context, the speakers installed cost about $130-$150 per pair, and the mechanic finished the work in about an hour. (Huge thank you to him, he did excellent work.) Overall, the customer service was friendly, but being asked to pay full price the day before my actual appointment and not being re‑quoted when I reduced the job didn't match the "honest and fair" experience I expected based on other reviews. Bummer, now it's back to square one

I had a system installed in my Polaris Slingshot about a year and a half ago, and since then I've had to return to the shop at least 6 times for ongoing issues with the equipment. I don't live nearby, so every visit meant arranging and paying for an Uber after dropping off my vehicle, which has been extremely inconvenient. I also want to be clear--I spent a lot of money here. Not just a small amount, but a few thousand dollars. For that kind of investment, I expected quality and reliability. Instead, I'm now being told my equipment is basically no good anymore. So what does that mean--I'm supposed to spend thousands of dollars every year and a half just to keep a working system? That's unacceptable. The biggest issue is the quality of the equipment. I was told I was getting aqua/marine-grade products, but that clearly hasn't been the case. The system has not held up the way it should, especially for what was promised. Customer service was also disappointing. When I asked to speak with the owner/manager, I was given multiple excuses before I was finally able to speak with him in person--and even then, it was excuse after excuse. Instead of solutions, I got no real accountability. On top of that, the initial inspection and diagnosis were not thorough. I was told over the phone that they would "call me back again after doing a more thorough inspection," which raised concerns about how carefully things were being handled in the first place. Lastly, the warranty they promote doesn't seem to actually exist in practice. When issues came up, there was no real support or accountability. Overall, I'm very frustrated. What started as a good experience turned into repeated problems, wasted time, and added expenses. I would not recommend this shop based on my experience.

It's nothing against them, I was always satisfied with the results and products but just the experience I had at Azteca was just that good that they now get mine and my family's business from now on. The owner Tony is very personable and friendly and accommodating. We had a nice conversation the entire time he was working on my car as if we were friends for years. Most importantly he was diligent, knowledgeable and the price was more than fair. I'll be going right back in a few days to have them do another job. This place is a hidden gem and 5 star spot, I highly recommend I may have prematurely misjudged this place after one experience. I went back to have them do a system installation and the guy never showed up and would not even answer my calls, after scheduling an appointment with me for the very next morning. I was there at the agreed on time and waited for an hour and a half before it became obvious he wasn't going to show or take my calls. Business must be pretty good for him to treat customers so poorly but he won't be getting anymore from my friends or family and this can be considered a formal rescinding of my 5 star review. It is now 1 star.....
