I eat there every week. I've been treated OK so far but the visit today was terrible. I got seated and then they made me move. Even after I had my food they put me against the wall where nobody helps or services me no water barely took one empty plate away barely. the price went up a dollar on the first of the year which is fine but I don't like to be treated like garbage. I are way too often so two thumbs down and yeah bad service will stop me from going there you guys are absolutely terrible today. read more

OK, this is a buffet review. This is a good buffet. Clean is very friendly food was being refilled timely. This place is better than most buffets. The men's bathroom, you have to stand on the toilet to get in and out of the stall!!! You gotta try it. read more

In 2008 a good cook from Shenyang China suggested and liked the this buffet. At that time I felt the food was okay and reasonable Senior priced. At that time employees were Chinese with many Chinese diners. I also liked watching futbol , soccer, while dining. For this reviewer it has become overpriced, the diners and staff different. Some diners appreciate the "all you can eat". Not my thinking. I have only gone with Chinese friends. My opinion is the know 1,000 times more than myself but possibly the main draw, for them is being able stuff themselves. read more

The food: an Asian buffet with a very large variety of common & some rare items, kept in hot trays that are constantly re-filled. Good variety of sushi & simple deserts too. The service: the polite staff quickly attends to getting your drinks & refills plus they clear your finished plates throughout the meal. The ambience: it's clean with no fancy decor but a bit noisy since the seating area is very large, usually with many kids being present & some people talk loud. Sadly there is not much to deaden all the noise. The price: reasonable for what you get. Remember this is a buffet so the quality is somewhere between average & good - just don't expect it to be on the higher level of a dedicated menu restaurant. Final thought: I return about once a month :-) read more

We go for the crab legs. The restaurant atmosphere is typical of a Chinese buffet. The servers don't do anything except bring drinks. If you ask why there aren't any crab legs, they tell you "It's not my job." There is no rhyme or reason to when they bring them out. On a busy night you might be lucky to grab a couple claws. I fill my plate and I add the General Tao's and won tons. It's hit or miss here. read more

There has been a fish buffet across from me for over 10 years and I never went there. A couple years ago they changed ownership and redid it. And I really like it. I'm a sucker for endless amounts of things to taste, and I do try to not waste food with small servings, but I'm not ashamed to go back for another California roll (single piece), a shrimp, some Chinese dish and a small bowl from the grill. And it is tricky to find but it's just back against the wall. Then a fresh plate for chocolate pudding, cookies, ice cream sundae and probably another tempera shrimp. It's like an all appetizer dinner and I love it. Everything is fresh and tastes delicious. My husband, who enjoys things in larger portions, loves it here because they have mussels. Now I'm hungry and it's just across the street. read more

Typical Chinese buffet. Feeding 100's. Food is ok but most tastes the same. The price is reasonable if you are going to just fill up. We think pay a little more gets lots more flavor. read more

Decent selection but there was nothing particularly great here, just average in taste and selection. The best tasting item I had were the pork ribs. My wife liked some of the fish items. The sushi selection was not as good in variety or taste as I was hoping for. My wife was disappointed with the soups We were really hoping for a better experience but it just did not happen read more

Wow! This was the largest buffet I have ever been to. If you like buffets than this is your place. It was overwhelming with all the variety of foods served. I had never even heard of some items they had. And, if you like shrimp well they have shrimp and tons of different varieties of shrimp. You can totally shrimp out here! Service is great and it's super clean too! It is a little loud because it's so big. If you're hungry and want a variety of food and don't like seafood this is still the place to go. You won't be disappointed, but will be so full and need a nap afterwards! read more

Service was good, food was ok. The number 1 buffet in Avondale is definitely the best buffet in the west valley.

The food can be good or bad depending on when you go and what you get. The inconsistency of quality is what keeps me from going most times but if you're with a larger party, buffet is a good option so everyone can choose what they want to eat. Service is fine, but I must say they are good at keeping the food trays full. read more

Good service and good would recommend if you like and can eat a lot. Good bang for your buck

COVID REVIEW 7-11-2020 Putting out less food, good choice in my opinion. Crab is coming out with less but more periodically to avoid crowds. Everything is super hot, way more than before. That's good. Sushi tasted good. Bathroom is CLEAN. Also they have you wear gloves and mask while grabbing food. We had a party of 12 and felt safe in a secluded section of the restaurant. read more

I have started going on a more regular basis once a week I love seafood and Pacifica has a good variety of choices both for lunch and dinner. It's been fresh and the buffet is well tended to and trays are kept full. Staff are very cordial and accommodating price is reasonable, especially I'm a senior so the 10% off is welcomed. read more

We came with our eyes on Alyce crab legs and they did not disappoint. Worth every cent for that alone . The seafood boil was really good... shrimp were huge and perfectly cooked, heads intact. The boiled cold shrimp were equally good. The filet of sole had been on the steam table too long and it was inedible as mush. But the crab legs were perfectly steamed and very popular. Additionally there were beautifully displayed sushi and sashimi . The deserts were pretty good too... flan/ crème caramel was very good! Not over cooked or over sweet. Perfect wobble still in the custard. The service was prompt and efficient and the over all look of the area was well lit and clean as a whistle . Recommend for food and value read more

I am writing a review regarding my experience with booking 2 large reservations at the restaurant. The restaurant was able to accommodate 70 people in the back party room, and more in the surrounding booths. The managers Jennifer and Sarah were accommodating to our needs and answered all of my questions regarding the small events, such as how we can decorate the room, use the TV, payments, if we went over capacity, etc. All of the staff were friendly, helpful, and hardworking. Jan and Stephanie helped out both days (yes - we had two big reservations back to back!). We were allowed to have our party pay up front and then proceed to the party room, so the payments were taken care of and we wouldnt have to worry about it later. They also let us know if we were able to have time to set up earlier or when we needed to clean up before any other reservation occurs after us. The restaurant is very clean, open, and has classy decor. The food was plenty and tasty. There were no complaints from all who attended. Thank you Jennifer, Sarah, and the staff for being hardworking and patient with us, they are the best! read more

Overall, the experience was good. One needs to take only that which they have had prior. If it's your first sample small portions. NOT GOOD TO BE WASTEFUL. I took samples that I thought would be something I knew I would. Even a couple that I did not eat. TRADE OFF WHEN EATING AT A BUFFET. The place was very clean The staff were accommodating. .......and very efficient. They were prepared! read more

Pacific Seafood Buffet has two locations. One on Chandler and the other in Glendale that is on the boarder of Peoria. I went to the Glendale Location. This buffet is open every day (even holidays) for lunch and dinner. They offer 200 various dishes to try for only $11.88 at the Monday - Friday lunch. It looks like a fancy place when you walk in with high airy ceiling and granite trimmed buffet stations. From what I tried some things were good like the mild white fish in ginger scallion sauce, The Korean Chicken, green beans, Asian greens, Asian eggplant and the butterflied fried shrimp. A lot of what I tried was just ok like the pepper chicken and black pepper chicken....they were tender and reasonably fresh but both were on the bland side. A lot of items were dried out like most of the beef and chicken skewers. The sushi is far from the best. Not as good as supermarket sushi. The ice creams are frozen so hard that you can't get a scoop. Calamari was the same as a rubber tire. The Asian plain doughnut and the lemon cake might be the best of the desserts. They also put out some fresh melon. It was a mix of some good, ok, bland, dried out and awful. I guess for $11.88 it might be an overall ok.....but I would give two stars if this was dinner and dinner priced. Our server was friendly and was quick to clear plates. read more

This buffet has relocated a few year ago. The change was needed evidently. Another 6 years have passed and this Chinese buffet is still hanging on. And believe it or not, I still go there. Not as often as I used to (mostly because I've moved further west) but I still go there. I go simply for 2 reasons: 1) The sushi bar is still one of my favorites. Not as expansive as it used to be at the old location but it still serves my purpose and 2) the Mongolian Grill has jumped up in my rankings. Those are the 2 things I go for. The rest of the buffet is good. Items are constantly being updated with fresh items. The still have those measly crap legs though. Again not worth my wait but they've added much more seafood. A whole table of seafood including a couple of crawfish dishes, a seafood medley of sorts and more. Plus they have the basic Chinese shrimp dishes scattered about. The wait staff went from a hinderance (in my original review) to an absolute joy to be around. They are polite and do their job efficiently. Empty dishes are cleared, drinks magically are refilled, they come around periodically to make sure you're doing well. Stuff that any wait staff should be doing. This is why the newer version of this buffet is getting 4 stars from me. Always room for improvement but I really enjoy going there now! read more

Pacific offers a great selection and great food. Miss having it on our side of town! Service for refills on buffet items can take an extra moment. However this might be more for how quick customers go through food more than the turn around time on the kitchen. Friendly atmosphere. read more

We went here for dinner tonight and I'm unsure as to how they are in business. I can get better and fresher food from panda. The few available crab legs were tiny and inedible, the meat disintegrated when you tried to get any of it. There were very few things that looked good and many were missing the tag to tell you what it was. I think they have some nerve charging the prices they do. Maybe it was an off night but we now have a stomach ache and feel bloated off the little bits that we did eat. None of us will ever go back. read more

I wouldn't go back unfortunately. The food for me was so so. The crab legs you had to wait for and they were so salty. The seafood wasn't to my liking. Sushi was ok nothing special. Didn't try the soups. Had the fried shrimp and the shrimp that you have to peel. Egg rolls were my favorite. The desserts were nothing special just the banana pudding was goo. Ice cream was ok but I prefer soft ice cream. The waitress wasn't cleaning the table fast enough. read more

Today was our first visit to Pacific Seafood. The food is excellently prepared. There are many options & beautifully presented. Favorites were the scallops, pot stickers & flan. But the beef dishes were tasty too. Our server was right there removing empty plates. She also explained what a couple of dishes were. And she was friendly. We will definitely be recommending this restaurant to others. read more
