I ordered a new bed frame, and also a dining room table and buffet, because they were priced so good. I loved the customer service, and I think that the furniture was well priced. I'm pleased with the service and the prices. They have some cute pieces in there. One of my favorite things about this place is that you can walk around and browse at your leisure, also they always have a lot of items discounted at really amazing prices. They're near several other furniture stores so it's a good place to go and browse around for new home furnishings! You never know what you might find that you didn't even know you needed until you saw it. That's what happens every time I'm there. I go in thinking I'm looking for one thing and come out of there with several things, and I love getting inspired! I need to go back in soon and see what else I can find. Love shopping here! Thank you Reeds! Attached are the items I purchased at Reeds. I still need to come find some nightstands, currently using a small box seat for a night stand. The fan is from Big Lots. LOL

Beware: What you measure in the store is not what gets delivered…read more My experience with Reed's Furniture was a total nightmare. We bought a sectional months ago based on a spec sheet provided in-store by our sales rep, Toni. When the couch arrived 6-8 weeks later, it was 7.5 inches shorter than the ordered specs--missing nearly a full seat's worth of space. Toni initially agreed it was incorrect with photo proof and promised a replacement corner piece in 6 weeks. Instead, after weeks of us chasing him down through excuses and unreturned calls, he sent a generic text stating the vendor treats measurements as "approximate." Coming from a sales and construction background, I've never seen a business operate like this. They will happily take thousands of dollars based on precise spec sheets, only to hide behind "approximate sizes" after delivery. Save yourself the headache and buy elsewhere.

Antoinette has great presence, determination, but most importantly, she has a great fucking eye for design, and we would work with her and her team again. We redesigned our entire showroom from top to bottom with Antoinette, and we couldn't be more excited to have our clients experience the new space. We explained the vision for our showroom, and they let us be as involved as we liked, while also guiding us to make great decisions. From going over floor plans, choosing furniture, explaining inspirations, installing light fixtures, and paying for their services - everything was easier than anticipated. They handled the things we did not have time to do, and even source contractors for us. To say this was worth the investment, is an understatement. Throughout the whole process, there were no feelings of stress or anxiety, I knew that they could handle everything.

A big heartfelt THANK YOU to David and Jesse at the Couch Potato from our family! It's a big deal…read moreto our family to spend on a large piece of furniture, especially on our limited budget. A lot of thought went into what and where to buy. We are so thankful we chose this place! First off, David and Jesse are knowledgeable and professional, and it's obvious they take pride in what they do and have great concern and care for their customers. It's not just a job for them! Jesse delivered the couch himself 3 days after we bought it. He was efficient and careful, and did it all with smiles and professionalism. Through no fault of the store, however, the couch we bought had a manufacturer defect and so did the replacement that was first sent. It took us about a week and a half to finally get the couch we paid for. With the impact on us financially due to the amount we invested in it, of course we were more than concerned and worried. But, through the whole situation, David and Jesse were prompt to get answers for us and were on the phone frequently with the manufacturer on our behalf. David called us several times himself to update and reassure us. He had great concern for us, and wanted to make sure we were happy and satisfied with our purchase. You just don't get this kind of customer service from a big box store, and especially not from the likes of Amazon. I always wondered why this small shop on the corner of Seaward and Main has been there for what seems like forever. Now I know why! I highly recommend The Couch Potato, and David and Jesse for your furniture needs - trustworthy, friendly, professional, and caring service. We will come here again when the need arises. Thank you, David and Jesse!

I rarely write negative reviews, but after a year of dealing with this sofa, I feel other buyers…read moreshould know about my experience. From the beginning, the seat cushions have been much too soft and have never provided proper support. When I sit on the sofa, I sink deeply into the cushions instead of being supported. The lack of firmness causes my hips to drop, leaving my lower back unsupported. It has become so uncomfortable that I have gotten up with significant back pain, and on one occasion I was literally doubled over after sitting on it. The company has replaced the foam cushions twice, but neither replacement solved the problem. The sofa continues to sag, and the seating support has never been what I expected from a new piece of furniture. The most disappointing part has been the lack of a permanent resolution. After multiple repair attempts, I expected someone to take ownership of the problem, thoroughly inspect the sofa, determine whether the issue is the foam, the cushion construction, or the support system underneath, and make it right. Instead, I still have a sofa that is uncomfortable to sit on despite repeated attempts to fix it. A sofa is a major investment, and I expected it to provide lasting comfort and support. Unfortunately, that has not been my experience. They have not stepped up or reached out to me to resolve this matter. I see that David L, the owner, stated 'glad to make your shopping experience pleasant. We look forward to seeing you again.' Well, my shopping experience wasn't pleasant and they made no attempt to rectify the problem and they definitely won't see me again.

But I really want to give a positive shout out to a recent experience I had with WDC last month. I live at the beach, and my Miele dishwasher that's about 5 years old hasn't had any issues whatsoever, except, from being at the beach, and a second home (not used everyday) over time a couple of the racks have deterriorated with some rusting issues. I ordered two new racks online from Miele before Christmas- they were pretty pricy. But they arrived in what I would call 'funky' condition, there were a couple of loose pieces that both myself, and my super handy husband could NOT figure out. I was sure Miele had sent us defective racks... but before I called them, I decided to take them into WDC hoping that someone there would tell me what was going on. I showed up at WDC on a slow weekday afternoon, because I knew this might take some time, and both Martez Houffen (Sales/Order Fulfillment) and Robert MacDowell (Store Manager/Sales) were a little perplexed with the racks well. At first. But, with EXCELLENT customer service, they took the time to see that the racks were assembled perfectly. Problem solved. WDC is my go to for all of my applicance needs! Thanks Robert and Martez, you made my day!

They were rude to say the least- that's when they bothered to call me back!! As regards the stove, they delivered one that was slightly damaged and offered to replace the damaged part. WDC is by far the worst store I have ever dealt with and will never be returning there again. They are completely unprofessional and useless once they have made a sale. By the way, a note for the person who writes the apology notes- don't bother, I'm not at all interested.
