Horrible, disorganized, complete lack of accountability. I have received supplies from them for 10 years and back in March I got a Rx for a new machine. It is now June and I have answered the same question about my insurance 4 times and they still don't have it in their system. Started with them loosing the faxed Rx. Then could not get to the right department. Then had the wrong insurance information. Poor communication, poor record management, terrible accountability. I finally got the name of a different supplier from my insurance and they had the insurance authorization within a week. Yes, it will still take 3 weeks to get my machine but considering I tried with Pacific for 4 months, the 3 weeks is awesome. Avoid this business at all cost! read more

Received a bill for services and I paid it the same day. Then I started looking at it and realized it wasn't submitted to my insurance. I have called numerous times and have been assured it has been sent to my insurance. Here's an interesting update. I have not utilized PPS for over 6 months and they just sent me another bill! As is their modus operandi, they didn't answer the phone when I called and took several days to call back. When they did call back the guy I spoke with let me know he was sorry and yes, indeed, the bill was sent in error. I know in the past, they have been fined for billing irregularities with Medicare/medicaid (fine was over $11 million), my guess is, they just send out bills figuring some people will pay without questioning them. Very bad customer support. Unable to speak to anyone about a billing question. They ONLY accept voice messages and indicate a call back within 24-48 hours. But if you miss the call, the circle starts all over again. I escalated a call to a supervisor and received a call back 2 weeks later but not by a supervisor. Had to wait another 6 days. The supervisor did resolve the issue but collections for (only late fees) we involved. Fees were removed but the damage was done. PPS never got our re-supply right the 1st time. Later, I started to receive repeated automated calls to re-order. I have zero (0) confidence this business cares about the customer or providing a service. My next communication will be to my insurance company for their reference. Incompetent, uncaring, flipped remarks by untrained customer facing workers. Pacific pulmonary continually engages in fraud and refuses to cancel an authorization that was not provided to them. I am attempting to order supplies from another company that does not engage in fraud however they cannot order these supplies because Pacific Pulmonary is claiming they have an authorization on file -I have not been able to order new supplies in 9 months- I am just waiting to get an infection- the lawsuit will be forthcoming (go to Valley Sleep Center if you can- they are not fraudulent and act like professionals). read more

NEGATIVE STARS MORE APPROPRIATE RATING!!!! This is simply the worst company to deal with for DME. Everything takes multiple calls to address. I have a billing issue due to some leftover balance from a year ago that they are just getting around to billing now. I called and paid a bill from 6/2019 that has some kind of $6.45 balance on it and no one can tell me why since that bill was paid in full previously. The second representative said it was because they sent me 6 months of supplies and split the payment in half which is absolutely false as they want payment before you place your reorder for supplies. I didn't authorize the last order and they were sent anyways and now payment is demanded. The first representative hung up on me, after saying she would send invoices and screenshots to my email (she didn't) and that I could pay online (not without an invoice you can't!), the second had me holding for over 20 mins, the third disconnected me after having me on hold for 16 minutes, and the fourth said I need to call back tomorrow as no one is picking up at billing dept! I have been calling all day and have spent more than 90 minutes on the phone total today. They flat our refuse to transfer you to a supervisor saying there aren't any available or there is no supervisor where they are, and they can have a supervisor call you back. Online access is a problem, getting the right supplies is a problem, and they send products to you without authorization which is what part of this billing is for. I have not used PPS in 7 months, and am getting bills from over 10 months ago! The billing is always a problem, the customer service is absolutely dreadful, and when you ask a question they simply repeat what was just said instead of answering your questions. As much as it pains me, I am almost willing to concede defeat and pay the damn bill so I don't have to deal with multiple calls a day (4 today), and not waste more of my time trying to get answers to a simple situation that could be easily resolved. Representatives are rude, incompetent, some are outright liars, and make it impossible to resolve any problems I've had in the 18 months I have had to deal with them as my provider. I changed as soon as my insurance allowed it. Definitely make another choice for your respiratory DME supplies if you are able. You will regret choosing PPS! read more

I'm really glad that I checked this page!! My husband's order for CPAP masks is nowhere to be found either! Had a terrible time trying to understand the man that took the order, too! And MED ONE was not even kind enough to let any us know about the selloff of the supply division. I only found out about after trying to get on their website and couldn't find any way to do so. My Doctors office had to send in the Perscription / request 4 times before they did anything. The first call that I receive they want me to pay them a large amount of money "because my deductible has not been met" Not one employee there would admit that they were out of network for my insurance company. When I questioned the cost and requested an itemized receipt they acted as if I had just asked for their head on a platter. How dare I want to know what I was being billed for. The last phone call I received was to justify why they were charging double what the Cpap could have been purchased outright for at cpap.com. Do not use this company! they are the worst. read more

Worst vendor ever. They seemed more responsive when they were Symbius medical. I couldn't afford the copay for my cpap machine then. When we hit our deductible and it went down I was referred to Pacific Pulmonary. Took over three weeks for a rep to call only to email me an online form and gave me zero contact info for her, said she would collect payment. They have four customer service numbers online that don't work including one on their website. I have missed one call back and am on hold for at least a half hour or more each time I try to call to reach someone to take care of my co-pay so I can get my machine. It has taken almost a year for me to get this CPAP machine and I still don't have it. If I get a stroke or heart attack in my sleep obviously I know who to sue. read more

Wow. Sounds like we are all haveing the same problem coming from med one. It's been 2 weeks and I have still not received my supplies. I was told they would be here within 3 to 5 business days... The lady I talked to sounded incompetent and kept trying to put me on mute when I was ordering supplies to ask the floor manager what to do next. And could not find me in the system and I had to tell her my name and insurance at least 5 times. For several years Symbius was my CPAP supplier, but unfortunately Pacific Pulmonary (Symbius) has bought them out. I received my first order from them, late, and the order was incorrect. They sent me several extra nose cushions that were not needed, (and I'm sure billed my insurance for), and my headgear was missing an elastic strap to hold it on my head, rendering it useless. The first customer service person argued with me that my insurance company would only pay for the elastic strap every six months. I asked to speak to a supervisor and she told me that she would turn it over to a manager and someone would call me. So far I am NOT happy with this company and will probably get my supplies elsewhere. It's sad this company had to buy out the CPAP portion of Symbius/CPAP. read more

About the same as the other reviews. Was not told initially by the rep that the CPAP required a rental payment for one year. They kept sending bills, and I finally got hold of the billing dept. I paid the rental all of 2019. The bills kept coming in 2020---they claimed they had sent another machine--they hadn't. It took my insurance company to cause them to admit they had only sent the one. "Good news", they said, "you don't owe anything". I told them they owed me for payments my wife had unknowingly paid. They would get back to me after checking records, they said. They, of course, didn't. Another bill in the mail today! I am in the process of filing a complaint with the Arizona Attorney General. Mistakes can happen, but these people appear to be simply dishonest. read more

Wow....I wish I looked at this in April when I started dealing with this company. I have had (almost to the letter) the same response to my CPAP needs after being transferred to PPS from Symbius. I have contacted this company 4 times since April and still no supplies. Unfortunately, I believe PPS uses the words "Customer Service" as a noun. Meaning a person, place or thing and not as a verb meaning "denoting action" as the only action PPS can do is apologize over and over again. And this is after speaking with 3 different "supervisors" who promised to "get to the problem" and get me my needed medical supplies. I concur with all the other reviews of this company.......DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE attempt to get any CPAP supplies from this company. 10 different reviews and all of them are 1 star because you can't give anything lower than one star unfortunately. read more

This company needs a lot of help transferring and obtaining accounts from MedOne in Tempe, Arizona. I have been with MedOne for a couple of year and had no problems obtaining CPAP supplies. I personally hand carried a Dr.'s prescription to Pacific Pulmonary Services in Tempe. They took all my information because they did not have my account. When I went to have my Nasal Trumpet fitting at their Tempe Center, they called and said they would send it to me to try it on. Two and a half weeks have passed and no Nasal Trumpet. Call PPS today (Called Tempe and got Tennessee) to follow up on the prescription order and they still did not have my account from MedOne and or the information I left with their office in Tempe. Spent 45 minutes on the phone giving them the same information. It's time for me to call my Doctor for a referral. read more

The call centers are all over sea's and no department knows what the next is doing. So as you are transferred from one inept person to the next; not only, do you have to repeat your issue all over again but no one can help you. Used Symbius for two years, no issues. I was told they no longer service CPAP users, so now have to use this company? NO WAY! Looks like I am having the same issues as everyone else on this page. I have been trying to get this company to pick up the equipment from my home for 2 1/2 years. They took over from MED 1 which was AWFUL. They are the worst. Despite a letter to them that I DIDN'T WANT THEM AS MY PROVIDER and sending several letters requesting they pick they have started billing me for the prior company's equipment. When I call they try to get me to take their service and when I refuse for the umpteenth time, they switch me to a line to leave a message. THIS MUST BE THE WORST O2 SUPPLIER OUT THERE. read more

We are trying to find out about my husband's bill for CPAP supplies. It is not clear from the bill what various charges are actually for so we don't want to just pay it until we can verify the charges. We tried to register online with two different e-mails to be able to have on-line account access, but never received the e-mails that were supposedly sent to complete the registration process. We have never had a problem with any other medical provider/company to be able to register and view information on-line, so we aren't sure why it is a problem with this company. There doesn't appear to be an option to instant message or e-mail someone. We tried calling the billing number provided on the statement. The message indicated someone would get back to us "within 48 business hours." No option is given to talk to a live person. We tried also pushing the option which indicates to just pay the bill, hoping we could talk to someone this way, but my husband was on hold over 15 minutes and then the call disconnected. We googled a local number and had the same experience with him being on hold a long time and then being disconnected. I guess we are stuck waiting 48 business hours to see if someone calls back... I don't believe he selected this company for his supplies, but rather had his account transferred. Once we have this settled, we will definitely be moving on. read more

Been dealing with these morons trying to get a bill paid. Medicare paid but they refuse to send the bill for the remaining balance to our private Cigna insurance. So today they have turned it over to collections. Both my wife and I have left a message to call me but never a return call. My wife has over the phone provided them with the necessary information to get their money but they will not do it. I am shocked that anyone would willingly use this company. What a disaster. Will try to keep this simple. Symbius Medical was the supplier of CPAP supplies for 6 years...All good/excellent. January 2018, transferred the business to Pacific Pulmonary and said the transfer would be seamless and Pacific would take over where they left off. As 4 months passed and no one called or sent the supplies, I reached out to them. Spoke with a rep and discussed what I needed. Waited 4 weeks and nothing ever came. Called today, was told they have the order in system, but its on hold pending payment of $36.00, my deductible. Glad I called. Did you send an invoice that I must have missed? No, we do not send invoices!! How would I know to pay or who to pay, if no one sends an invoice????After 5 calls and speaking with 5 different reps and managers(?) I still can not get an answer. This defies all logic. One rep said it wasn't their job to send an invoice when I requested it. So again, I ask, who do I pay, how do I pay? No answer. The only answer they give is they will escalate my complaint to their manager and see if an invoice can be sent to me. So here I sit, can't get the medical supplies I need, they have all my personal information which I never authorized Symbius to give them. And to get medical supplies from another provider I have to go back to Mayo Clinic to see a doctor to be re-evaluated and get a new prescription. A disaster. read more

Horrible business practices. I was taken to the ER and received a random bill from Pacific Pulmonary Services for $100 on top of the $18,000+ hospital bill, $1345 bill from the treating doctor at the hospital that for some reason wasn't included in the $18,000 hospital bill, ambulance bill and then this random $100 bill. The bill itself did not explain what it was for and when I called to inquire about this the person I spoke with had no clue either. Regardless, I gave them my insurance info (which I am fully covered) and told them where to send the bill. All the other bills were sent there and paid. However, I kept receiving a bill from Pacific Pulmonary Services saying it is "seriously past due." I called my insurance and was notified that they never received anything from Pacific Pulmonary Services to bill them. I again called Pacific Pulmonary Services and advised them that they are not getting a cent from me and that if they want to be paid that they need to bill my insurance. This was on May 21, 2021. I was advised not to worry and that it will be sent to my insurance and that I won't receive another bill. However, I did in fact receive another bill today, June 1, 2021. The bill is dated May 27, 2021 and states that "We have not received payment for the balance shown. We must now make a decision to forward your account to an attorney or collection agency for resolution. It is your responsibility to contact us within 10 days of this letter to prevent your account from being forwarded to an attorney or collection agency. To avoid further action please make payment in full immediately." These people got the wrong person if they think that I will simply pay them $100 so that they stop pestering me. I will not pay something that I do not owe. In fact, I still don't fully understand what this $100 bill is for. Upon investigation it seems like it may be for a neck brace that I was forced to wear for 5 minutes when I was put in the CT scan at the hospital. I did not keep this neck brace and have no clue what happened to it. Regardless, I again called the company upon seeing the bill today. I was told that my balance is zero and not to worry. Out of curiosity I again called my insurance company to see if it was actually paid. I was told that it has not been submitted. This company is clearly attempting to frighten people into paying for things they do not owe. I will fight this bill to the death. It is obvious that they are either attempting to get paid by me and insurance or the bill is complete BS to begin with if they have yet to submit it to my insurance for payment. Most horrific company ever. Called five times in one day to order supplies and to get a replacement portable tank. I was on hold each time for over 45 minutes and when I finally got thru to someone they immediately put me on hold and then disconnected the call. I actually had a rep from Med One stay on the line with me to witness the hang up after waiting forever on hold. This company needs to be shut down immediately. Why are they allowed to do this to patients. I'm tempted to go to their Tempe office to demand some customer service. You are all horrible people. read more

I agree with all the other reviewers! If anyone is in need of the services they offer, please find another company. I have never had such poor customer service in my life! As said in another review, when you do actually talk to someone, they cannot help you unless you are giving them money by paying your bill!! You are talking to a call center somewhere overseas, and, if you are sent to another representative they can't help you either. I have never in my life dealt with such an incompetent company in my life!! The rep kept muting the phone, then hung up on me. I was trying to help one of my patients get a different mask. The one they sent did not fit at all. I asked if they could get someone out to have the patient try different masks, they don't offer that. Wait, what???? How is that not offered? Pacific Pulmonary Services should be shut down!!! Just look at the HORRIBLE reviews!!! I'm actively looking for a replacement company that is on top of their game, and can actually cater to our patients needs without the stress!
