They visited at our house promptly to learn what we had in mind and to check out current conditions. During that first inspection, they discovered serious problems in the design and support properties of the deck and walls of the residence. We also added a list of additional tasks we needed accomplished along with the planned repairs. The principals took our ideas and suggestions and prepared an extensive overall recommended work plan, including costs and a timetable. Despite what we considered a Herculean job to be accomplished on our property, the entire project was completed with no substantial problems. We are completely satisfied with the entire experience and would recommend the Atterbury Brothers for any size project.

Prior to the beginning of work, Jim gave us a spreadsheet detailing what would be done by who and when. Tyrone completely removed the old, rotting deck and rebuilt it from the ground up. The new porch includes all-new framing and supports, beautiful composite deck boards, and a vinyl railing from TimberTech. The transformation is truly night and day. What was once an old, worn-out deck is now a beautiful, sturdy, and welcoming outdoor space. We also installed a new front door, which made a huge difference. If you are looking for a reliable, honest, and family-owned company in Beaverton, Oregon, I would strongly recommend contacting Tyrone at Woodland Construction Group. You will not be disappointed. Thank you again, Tyrone, for all your hard work. We will definitely be reaching out again for our next project.

Woodland Construction Group exceeded our expectations from start to finish. The space originally had an open niche next to the oven and microwave, and we wanted a floor to ceiling pantry that looked like it had been installed with the original kitchen. Woodland Construction Group custom built and installed a beautiful pantry cabinet, and the match to our existing cabinetry is absolutely perfect. The color, style, trim work, and finish blend seamlessly with the rest of the kitchen. You truly cannot tell it was added after the home was built. What makes this cabinet even better is the functionality. They incorporated custom pull out drawers and installed electrical outlets inside the cabinet, allowing us to create a hidden coffee bar. We can keep our coffee maker, blender, and other small appliances tucked away behind closed doors while still having easy access to everything. The pantry storage is incredible, and the pull out shelves make it easy to organize and reach items without digging through deep cabinets. The craftsmanship, attention to detail, and quality of work are exceptional. The team was professional, communicative, punctual, and a pleasure to work with throughout the entire process. If you're looking for custom cabinetry or home improvements that look like they were always part of your home, I highly recommend Woodland Construction Group. We couldn't be happier with the finished product, and it has completely transformed both the appearance and functionality of our kitchen.

Western Oregon Builders (WOB) was contracted to build an Accessory Dwelling Unit for me in…read moreVancouver, Washington. The home is two stories with a 530 square foot workshop and 530 square foot apartment with a loft and large exterior deck. The home was finished in spring of 2019 and is currently my primary home and I rent out my other house on the property. Alex (the owner of WOB) and his team were awesome to work with throughout the project. Alex was good about communication and letting me know the various stages of the build. He is passionate about construction (and his mini excavator) and was out at the project much of the time directing and performing the work himself. This was my first large construction project and Alex made it easy to do business. The quality of the work was outstanding, and his pricing was very agreeable. WOB was flexible to changes in design as the project moved along and did not come back with price adjustments outside of large upgrades (which I requested) which were not in the initial design/build quote. I was expecting to engage WOB in conjunction with R&B Design Studio LLC (to provide the building design/permitting) to assemble a house based on architectural drawings. Both teams worked closely together to execute a full top to bottom project management services package that included architectural drawings, scheduling, material and design selections, construction, permitting, etc. R&B Design Studio LLC is a company that works in conjunction with WOB on many projects and did an outstanding job to design a space that feels much larger than it really is and is highly functional. WOB also has a show room to help select materials and builds custom cabinets making it simple to select materials without having to search for these items and do price/quality comparisons. This made it very helpful being a working professional. Also, both teams helped select interior flooring, cabinets, tiles, countertops, etc. which is a large benefit as I find this difficult without guidance. They made it super easy to do business with them and even found a way to shave about $8,000 off the project through working with the city on specific criteria. I would highly recommend both Western Oregon Builders and R&B Design Studio LLC for any construction project. The end product is so much more than I anticipated, I could not be more appreciative of their service.

Photos show before on the left (or top), and after on the right (or bottom). The work was completed March 2024. Isaac was honest, straight forward, patient, and quick to respond to questions or concerns. His recommendations (e.g., 3cm thick quartz counter top), though expensive, were high-quality and ultimately a decision we do not regret. The sub-contractors were respectful and took their time, and did excellent work. Some additional details: For insurance purposes, we wanted the invoice of the kitchen counter tops. After several requests, Isaac was able to get this to us. We suspect the delay on this was due to the subcontractor: The invoice was issued by the vendor (Architectural Surfaces), addressed to the counter-top subcontractor, and had to be obtained from the subcontractor. Isaac was very professional, patiently replying to our several requests, and ultimately delivered the invoice. The project start date was delayed about 2-3 days due to cutting/delivery of the counter tops, but Isaac was quick to let us know this and quick to reschedule the start date. The counter tops and sink were installed in about 1-2 days, and the tile back splash and detail work took about 2 more days. I believe the work started on a Thursday and was completed by Sunday. Delays like these may not work for some people, but they were not a problem for us; it was very convenient that Isaac's team could come in on the weekend to complete the work. We did not get other bids on this kitchen-counter remodel, but we did have Isaac submit a bid for a master-bath remodel. Comparing his bid to two others, we can say his pricing is competitive.
