    I lived at this property for about 3 years. The amount of BS that we had to deal with management over time has just been ridiculous. Where to begin... Starting with the white supremacy situation. There was an attack that happened to a tenant here in the beginning of December. It was between a couple that lived in the same building as we did but on the opposite side facing the freeway. The guy which was a white supremacist and would always be trying to fight everyone in the neighborhood beat his girlfriend so bad that she went into a coma and tried taking out her body at 4 am. Only reason he got caught is because a neighbor saw him taking out the body while coming back from work. That was on a Saturday, and on Sunday the whole neighborhood was completely packed with cop cars, 3 police dog cars, and was just a mess. We NEVER got any news on what happened, who they were, or anything. But neighbors knew them. Management just tried brushing the whole situation under the rug and act like nothing happened... what kind of property just doesn't tell their tenants about such a horrible crime happening!!! The person that saw the attacker moved out the next day for her own safety and last I heard the tenants living next to the apartment where it all happened where planning on moving since management was being so quiet about the whole situation. Such a messed-up crime happened, and they just act like nothing happened, I really don't get it. 2nd - Before we moved in, the workers that were finishing up setting up our apartment were telling us how before we moved in, our apartment was completely destroyed and filled with mice,rats, and insects due to 3 families, yes, 3 families living there (one in each room). It was also very noticeable how much damage had been done to the apartment as there were patches of uneven wall and paint all around the apartment. The whole 1st year of us living there we had insects EVERYWHERE. We had to get our apartment fumigated over 8 times in the spawn of 4 months, making us clear our whole kitchen cabinets and having to reclean everything every single time. At one point when we had to clear our kitchen up for the 3rd time in a month (after 5 fumigations) I found it odd that they had to keep fumigating so I parked and waited in my car to even see what they did. Come to find out, fumigator went inside for literally less than 3 minutes, walked out, and left..... after this we had to get in contact with upper management and they still didn't believe us! They decided to come to our apartment weeks later to "see it for themselves". Took almost a year to get the bugs out of our apartment, it was disgusting. And to be honest, bugs kept popping up the whole time we lived there but at least it was less than the 1st year. And we just had to get used to it. Just look at the other reviews, most of them mention bugs. And no they didn't offer a lower rent or anything, just said oh well. 3rd - Before moving out, we had a move out inspection that took place I believe on the 21st of December where one of the workers came to check the apartment out. He said that since we lived there longer than 2 years that they won't charge for new paint job as they usually repaint the apartments after 2 years. I should point out, our walls were fine, even the worker said so. Then he told us to just check for the carpets to be cleaned and it should be fine. He said we should be good as the apartment looked great but just get the carpets cleaned. We got the carpets professionally cleaned on move out week and they looked amazing. Took videos and pictures of the whole apartment as well in case they tried pulling something sketch like this. Well wouldn't you know it, now they're saying we won't be receiving ANY of our deposit back because they need to repaint the apartment (they told us to not even worry about that as they paint them every 2 years) and supposedly the carpets were very dirty (that's a lie). We've been trying to get an answer from upper management about this and they wont even get back to us. I can't believe how unprofessional and incompetent this whole scenario has been. Lastly, the last 2-3 months of us living there there would be groups of 10-15 teenagers that would hang out in front of our apartments drinking and smoking. It got so bad one night that cops were called as there were over 20 teens. After that, it seems like management is ok with them hanging out by the dog park where they would always leave their beer cans scattered everywhere. We said that enough is enough and decided to leave as well. I DONT recommend at all living here. There's much better properties around San Clemente and Dana Point than this place. Places with no bugs, no sketchy murders/attacks getting swept under the rug, places where they'll check if your neighbor is a white supremacist and more competent management. Management, you guys should be ashamed of yourselves. Do better.

    EXACTLY WHY I DIDNT POST THIS SOONER ---- despite these photos being from WHEN WE MOVED IN, they are NOW sending someone to inspect my apartment and harass me WHILE I AM PACKING TO LEAVE. You had an ENTIRE YEAR to figure it out when I tried to handle it privately with you BUT SUDDENLY I MAKE IT PUBLIC so you want to try and save face and act like you're making an effort now? I gave you a year and you can't give me 48 hours to peacefully leave this place? I will be out by Monday; I asked them to give me the weekend to move out and then they could come so whatever they're going to do. Less than a 24 hour notice of entry (ILLEGAL) and despite my insisting it will STRESS out my Elderly ALREADY STRESSED pets, they said they're coming anyway and I have no choice "due to my review on yelp." I will say that The office manager (Jessica) did call me earlier today and was very nice about the situation --- but the owners of this facility are choosing to do this nonsense while I'm moving instead of giving me any grace --- despite everything we've already dealt with her. So be warned: if you speak the truth you will get harassed by the owners of Lyon Living and your space be invaded. They are making their new office manager do their dirty work -- also love that they responded that my review "isn't typical" ---- despite ALL the 1 star reviews Mentioning the mold, staff turnover, and constant harassment of Tenants. What a joke. ** I video recorded myself telling them they do not have my consent to enter, and having one man and a ladder physically block me While another man pulled my belongings out of cupboards and closets and took photos while I stayed they did not have my consentC they are trespassing and harassing me and invading my privacy. I would share them but YELP won't let me add videos to this review. ***

    For anyone who independently pays for their own a apartment this is a commentary for you for starters prior to the pandemic people would blast music by the pool 7 days a week till 1 am I'm serious forget sleep when they finish they always get loud somewhere else immediately afterwards., the people who work at the front desk every word spoken goes out the other ear you can't blame the lady Allie though seriously after speaking with the man who was her boss I realized it's literally the people who run this place currently who are the problem ., it made me miss Sean he actually listened and treated people as people and handled issues immediately & also the mailbox I was assigned doesn't shut literally doesn't shut (people could steal my mail) I haven't ever complained because I have literally tip toed around everything to keep this apartment ., if I had read the ratings & comments before moving here I wouldn't live here right now ., unfortunately my circumstances are I'm not a Cali native nor am I independent so I just have had to pace around the fact this was my best option to live at this complex if I wanted to live in Cali near the beaches and be grateful that I'm far away from home & have a roof over my head ., where it's not to expensive and my car could have a space with half shade not full shade literally half shaded . and my dog could live with me ., during this pandemic starting in January I haven't swam in the pool I haven't gone outside other than to get groceries and walk my dog (.) my windows are always shut because I have several underlying health conditions one being asthma. I moved here in sept of last year 2019 ., with in the first two months of living here my shower internally with in the pipes broke twice ., yes twice when they fixed it the first time the guy broke off my center drain ., that hole of nasty looking silver yea that used to not look like that ., the second time the bottom of the shower lining they literally broke it half off ., I put in a work order back in November or December for those to be fixed along with my windows shutter that just fell off one day when I opened the window they didn't fix it ., (even though it was clear that they could enter with out me here because I said they could enter )., as I said my windows have been shut this entire pandemic yet I have had spiders some how making their way in (now that I've read the comments I see that it's likely the walls )., I had to have them come twice during a pandemic because for some reason they decided to only spray the kitchen even after expressing the fact i haven't been having visitors I've been inside for my safety I just can't live with the spiders spray the whole place down please ., like how in the world do they screw that up for real this was last week Thursday that the spider guy finally got rid of the spiders spraying the entire apartment not just the kitchen He only comes once a week initially that was supposed to be handled two weeks ago the first time . , in the end yesterday they placed a warning outside my door that in 7 days someone is coming in my home (during a pandemic) because somehow a clean apartment is in violation to their rules (?) if it's the stuff that's broken it's seriously not my fault I've done my part ., if you are planning on paying out of your own pocket do not move here stuff breaks all the time & when they did painting outside of each of the apartments a few months ago when I opened the door I kid you not the brown paint got all on my carpet entrance at the front door I cleaned deep cleaned with carpet stain remover yea nah it's not out (they did that)-the people working here- and you won't be respected by the people who work here currently because they completely disrespected me& I have made zero problems . Like it's the first time I got mad and spoke with them about being reasonably frustrated And you might be evicted for literally staying inside you're home minding your own business during a pandemic and your family be all the way in Texas and you have made no problems at all living here . Don't move here save up and pay extra to live in a better place with actual decent parking spaces ., I lost my side mirror twice during the time living here the spaces are crammed and narrow & kids are always playing in the street literally behind your car . And the walls are so thin if it's not the dog down stairs barking from noon till evening when the guy leaves & gets back from work -it's the couple behind me in quarantine. Or it's the kids playing when they have left school for their safety -you can hear everything. -

Overall, I have been extremely happy with the service they have provided. Truthfully, I had never rented my home before and was unsure what would be required or involved. Luckily, Legacy Property Management came thru in every way and has made the entire process seamless for me. My initial contact with Legacy Property Management started with Steve coming out to my property to personally discuss my needs regarding my home that I wanted to rent out. He was super helpful and answered all my questions as well as walked me thru the entire rental process. LPM was the only management company that offered to meet in person as the rest that I had called wanted to give me "estimates" over the phone without having ever seen my home. Steve was very personable and was someone I felt comfortable chatting with. Afterward, I've been very fortunate to work directly with Wayne who has been fantastic. He is a professional and very knowledgeable and you can tell he has many years experience in this industry. He promptly answers my email concerns / questions. He has been on top of my tenants requests and reaches out to me when only absolutely necessary. Otherwise the entire process has been hands off which is exactly what I wanted. Now that the 1st year is almost done, he's been proactive on the renewal process and provided his professional recommendation on next steps. Also I have to add that Wayne made the tax season easy for me and provided all the necessary documents promptly. I highly recommend Legacy Property Management to manage your home rental. I definitely stand by my 5 star rating.

When I arrived, two blonde women who appeared to be staff were arguing and raising their voices in front of customers about one of them telling shoppers that the last day would be discounted. This was so unprofessional to be arguing in front of people like this. The prices were pretty high on some items compared to most estate sales I've attended, and there was absolutely no willingness to negotiate, even on multiple items. On top of that, the woman running the cash register was incredibly rude and demeaning not only to me but to several other customers in front of me as well. When I decided to put back a few unpriced items after she quoted me unexpectedly high amounts, she threw them onto the counter and scoffed at me. As I was leaving, the lady who checked out in front of me was walking out and was also in disbelief of the cashiers attitude. This all took place early on the first day of the sale, so I'd like to think she might've just been having a bad morning, but the overall attitude and unprofessional behavior really left a bad impression. I won't be attending any more of their sales after this experience.

I originally came to Debbie because I had rented a property from her 13 years ago, and that experience was fantastic. Whenever anything needed attention, Debbie was quick to arrange speedy repairs and always made sure everything was taken care of. When I saw a sign out front back then, I didn't hesitate to rent from Coast Property Management again--and I'm so glad I did. This time, I needed help finding a home, and Debbie was the perfect person to assist me. She was incredibly optimistic and helpful from the very beginning. I had a set price range, and she worked with me to find properties that fit within my budget without compromising on what I needed for my family. What really stood out was her flexibility and availability--she was always ready to show me places at times that worked for me, making the whole search process so much easier. When it came time to move in, Debbie went above and beyond. Not only was everything in order, but she even left me a sweet welcome card and a delightful smelling candle as a special touch to help make our new place feel like home. It's those thoughtful details that really set Coast Property Management apart. I moved to Vintage Shores about a month and a half ago to be close to my daughter, her husband and my 3 grandchildren and that alone is gold but moving here I got a lot more. My apartment is so cute,with a lot more storage space than it looks like at first glance. I look forward to the weather becoming a bit warmer to enjoy my morning coffee on my patio. The beautiful,peaceful grounds are adorned with flowers and the fresh scent of ocean air. The laundry room,pool and Jacuzzi are so clean. Along with friendly people, the aroma of good coffee fills the Clubhouse in the morning. There is even a social worker available every Monday. Mina ,the Community Manager, is absolutely lovely and makes sure that everything is always attended to for the residents,making this piece of ground not just an apartment complex but a real home. Luis,who is in charge of maintenance, can fix anything around here and knows what he is doing .Everything inside the apartment and outside on the grounds and Clubhouse is so well maintained. I just love this place. I have found a little bit of Heaven right here at Vintage shores. Wendy Fremstad UPDATE:October 2023 Mina,the Community Manager, Luis who is in charge of Maintenance and Augustin who also works in Maintenance have continued to demonstrate remarkable attention to detail in the upkeep and maintenance of the lovely Vintage Shores facilities and grounds. Over the last 4 and 1/2 years all of the common areas have consistently been clean and well-maintained.Luis always has a genuine smile for all of the residents and he and Augusin are always there when they are needed. It's clear that they take great pride in ensuring the community remains a beautiful and comfortable place to call home. I so appreciate that when the pandemic first hit Mina ordered new stand alone mailboxes that were placed outside as opposed to a mail room where all of us would go to collect mail and thus keeping residents safe. One thing that truly sets Mina apart is her genuine care for the residents. I couldn't be more pleased with Mina as our Community Manager. Her dedication,willingness to help,attention to detail, and warmth have meant the world to me. Unfortunately, my needs have changed and I will be downsizing which means I will be moving from Vintage Shores. Wendy Fremstad
