The leasing office and maintenance staff are incredibly helpful, knowledgeable and responsive. All my apartment maintenance requests were attended to very quickly. The common areas are always nice and spotless. As another example of the staff's helpfulness and responsiveness, I accidentally lost something in the trash chute and the whole management and maintenance team came together to help me find it, literally going into the dumpster to help me find what I was looking for. We had a great experience touring the property with Michael and Jacob. They were super nice and answered all of our questions.

So my husband and I toured this community with Jacob. He did a great job and brought a tape measure (I asked if he could) as only 1 floor plan would possibly work for us. I am disappointed that in each bathroom there is only 1 long towel bar and no towel rings/bars at the sink. This costs nothing and each bathroom should have 2 towel bars for bath towels. We don't want to have to throw one over the shower curtain every day to dry, that is silly. My assumption from asking Jacob if we could have another one put in or move one was that that was a no go and or we'd be charged for it which we should not. Not a lot of storage in the bathrooms and lack of space for sheets, pillows and towels. We are older and need a place to accommodate for these things where younger people may only have 1 set of sheets and not many towels to store and not many other items like extra bathroom supplies. This is the reason for 4 stars. I just think the owners of apartment complexes just don't get how to make living a little bit better with these small requests, they could do a lot better! Kitchen had more cabinets/drawers than I expected so we could make this work and the living room was pretty darn small for a 2 bedroom. The gym had everything moved out of it so we didn't get to see it, just empty rooms. I'm sure it would be ok for a quick workout.I'm not a pool person but, they seemed nice. Seemed like a nice place. I was taken back when I asked how trash was taken care of and it's a long walk and if you have a heavy trash bag or larger item/box this wouldn't be fun so make sure your bags are light weight! Rent price seemed fair but, I did see the reviews that after one year price went up $500 a month which I think is steep. I like that Club Sport is across the street as we'd join that gym or Life Time down the road. read more

Looking at available properties for a friend. No price ranges posted on their website and they don't answer their phones. If you can't provide customer service get out of the business. The nail in the coffin was the property review that spoke of the conditions on the property and an exorbitant rental increase which was explained by the owner as "current market value." I call it greed and avarice. I call it bait and switch and a number of other things which I will not add here. Lousy marketing, lousy service and greed. Three strikes and you are out. read more

I just moved in and this has been hands down the best experience I've ever had with any apartment complex ever! All the leasing agents are so nice, so hardworking, and their communication is on point. Kenneth and Melissa have been extremely helpful but the community manager Angela was really the one who made this experience the best. From the moment I met her she made Vantis feel like home and that is no exaggeration. She has been so sweet and so welcoming. She took us on an in depth tour through multiple units and through the amenities of this very large property. The day I moved in I needed a cord that was missing from my router and she kindly went to Cox herself to go pick it up without hesitation. From the second I contacted Vantis I have been impressed with the leasing office. Starting with getting my first apartment here Christian was amazing. He contacted me back immediately whenever I had a question or concern and he met every single request for which apartment I wanted and I was approved quicker than any other apartment I've rented. My first apartment was a two bedroom with a roommate and it unfortunately went south. I was very nervous that because of the situation I would no longer be able to live at Vantis anymore. Thankfully because my apartment was in good standing and I continued to pay on time every month Vantis worked with me on getting into a new unit. During this time Ahmee was a life savor along with her team. Ahmee made me feel safe in an uncomfortable roommate situation and was extremely empathetic while keeping things neutral and fair. Again when finding my new unit they exceeded all expectations. My view is amazing and I got the floor plan, floor color, and balcony that I loved in my first apartment. Not only that, I had requested more than the average amount of requests when I first moved into my new unit and Victor and Henry made sure every single one was met. Not to mention the amazing maintenance team who gets every single request done within 24 hours or less. About Vantis, there are some of the most amazing amenities here and I use almost all of them. There's a work from home space, two pool areas, two hot tubs, so many BBQs and fire pits. I wish the gym was bigger and had better use of space and equipment (But still a very functional gym). Complaints are small and don't even compare to all the reasons I choose to live here but I will tell you them. Guest parking is literally never available and becomes a huge issue when someone comes to visit. The noise from my upstairs unit isn't great (but I think it's safe to say that will happen at any apartment complex). I really wish they created a bigger gym due to the amount of people that live here. That's pretty much it for complaints and again none of these stop me from absolutely loving where I live! read more

The only drawback, after having been here since COVID, are the rent hikes. I'm paying almost 1k more in Just a few tears. This is important to keep in mind for anyone on a single income or parents. Super tough to move kids or afford such big increases. Otherwise, I've really enjoyed living here. The staff does a really great job at keeping the property nice, neighbors are awesome, and the amenities are great. Sometimes the gym is packed.. but it's otherwise been a happy home. read more

We moved on November 2020, we had rats, bad hot water system ( disappearing in 15m ). Taking trash out will take you 5 min walk to it. Every morning loud music from sport hotel resort across street. Stupid packages parcel system, packages get lost a lot of times, you have to call and wait on line. This complex brought more problems into my life. read more

Don't ever consider this apartment complex. Management team is unprofessional and doesn't have any respect for law of rights of the tenants. I provided 30 day notice for my move out and they demanded that I will pay through the end of the lease, which is 2 extra months. Lease break outs fees are illegal in California and management team is not aware of it. Two weeks after I moved out they sent me fraudulent final statement for charges for apartments through October. While they are putting back apartment on the market to double charge a new tenant for the same apartment. I will be reporting this as landlord financial fraud. I have lived here for 2 years now on Vantis drive; the main driveway for our apartments. The view is great and the sunlight for plants is awesome however the management does jack sh$T about the noise amongst other things in the building. There is a hound at the bottom of my floor the howls from 9am-5pm every day and management says "there's only so much we can do" when brought to there attention. A dog shits in my hallway every other day as well as a neighbor that thinks it's acceptable to leave their trash piled up in the hallway. AS WELL I have a neighbor that does drugs and is keeping us up at all hours of the night. Don't believe me check my TikTok for #crackheadkaren. After having lived here for about a year now, here is my long overdue review: The Good: -Great location overlooking AV Town Center with easy access to shopping and restaurants. - Apartments are newish with good amenities like central air, in-unit washer/dryer etc. - Great maintenance team who are always prompt, courteous and do a great job with the upkeep of the property. Kudos to Joel and staff!! - Good service by very few members of the management team specifically Gary, Christian, Melissa - I will give 5* to these folks and the maintenance team without hesitation. Read further to understand the overall 2* rating. The Bad: - Terrible service by management staff headed by Ahmee, hence the 2* rating overall: Based on my experience living in apartments of all kinds including upscale ones, the one thing that is common across the board/can be taken for granted is that management team are very friendly, welcoming, approachable, courteous and respectful towards their tenants. Sadly, this is not the case with Ahmee and most of her team including her assistant managers. Behaviors have ranged from being cold, lukewarm, unfriendly (Ahmee) to downright disrespectful (Ariel) to shouting at tenants (Henry). One could not help but wonder if their personal prejudices are standing in the way of good customer service. These folks could take a leaf out of the books of somebody like Melissa (she deserves a raise for being consistently good). It is ironic that people who work in customer service lack basic skills like courtesy, politeness and respect. Note that it is not just my opinion, a few residents I have talked to have expressed the same sentiments. If it is some kind of "diversity issue", then it should be addressed with appropriate training, which is easily available in this day and age!! In summary, Ahmee and her team does not inspire much confidence with their customer service skills or lack thereof! They don't quite cut the mustard especially considering the exorbitant rent that tenants are paying. We deserve and demand better customer service! I would encourage Shea Management to do a customer satisfaction survey in order to really gauge the residents' views of management. Imagine how much better it would be if residents really loved their community, were fully engaged and referred their friends and family! To put things in perspective, if such incompetence is displayed by a customer service team in the corporate world, they would be fired by now! - Lack of community events: Although there are some events, typically once a quarter, there is a general lack of community on the property. One gets the vibe of living in a hotel vs being part of one community. There is so much more the management can do to make the tenants' more engaged and their stay more enjoyable. - Lack of recreational facilities like tennis/volleyball courts etc, which can be found in less expensive apartments. They do have two pools and a Yoga room. - Erratic drivers in the parking garage: You can see cars speeding through the garage with utter disregard to residents and fellow drivers. My car was almost hit by one such driver. i reported it to management promptly, but they sent out a generic email 2-3 months later (cue bad service by Ahmee). - Lack of diversity in food trucks: Although food trucks on Mondays are a good thing, they are 90% Mexican food and maybe 10% Asian. There is so much diversity in the food scene around here that it is inexcusable to have the same stuff over and over again without much healthy choices! I hope that the Shea Management can take constructive criticism in the right spirit and address some of the shortcomings, especially with the management team! Been here for 3 years now. What sets this place apart is the neighborhood. It's a perfect place to walk your dog and a short walking distance to restaurants and Trader Joe's. You feel very safe here. It's very disappointing that every time I call vantis regarding an issue they don't show empathy nor urgency to fix the problem. This is my third time calling and addressing the issue with the dog barking non stop at 5 am and 12-1 at night. ristian is who I spoke reg this matter, he did not follow up with me regarding this and all he could say today was " theres just so much that we can do" this is very disappointing to hear as this is affecting our quality of life. I loved living here. The apartments are so beautiful. The grounds are well taken care of. Our leasing agent was the best and so helpful and friendly. I wish we could have lived here longer, but unfortunately, wonderful things cost a lot of money. We could no longer afford to splurge on the rent anymore, but maybe one day we will move back. My partner and I have been here for three months now and we absolutely love it! There is such a community here. Weekly movie night set by residence, dog parent groups that meet up almost daily with one another, makes this place stand out in comparison to other apartment complexes. The grounds are always clean and well-kept. Even though this is a very dog friendly community, you cannot even tell from looking around. Residents and staff keep the community super clean. Also, the amenities are lovely! 2 pools, fitness and zen/yoga room are a definite plus and adds to the value of the community. There is an entertaining room, lounge areas and fireplaces set up in the community for hangouts. It's amazing. Some of the staff that have helped out or we have had the pleasure of working with are William in leasing - Rommel, Luis and Farshid in maintenance & can't forget Martha's smiley face nearly every morning keeping the interior of the building clean. My husband and I moved into Vantis as our first place together right before we got married and we really stretched ourselves to move into what was then a new complex. We lived at Vantis for just over 3 years and even transferred locations within the community, and while there were a few bumps over the years our overall experience was fantastic. The maintenance team is super friendly and always so quick to respond and the operations/cleaning team is amazing! Seriously, the apartment hallways and communal spaces constantly smell freshly cleaned. The pools and spas are great and the outdoor living areas still look new. We moved out earlier this year and relocated to a new city and our new community doesn't hold a candle to Vantis. Thank you to Ricky as well for being great while we were there and making our move out process so smooth. Oh an if anyone is wondering they are extremely fair when it comes to your deposit. We had a large dog in our apartment and even though we are type A cleanly we assumed just because we had the dog we wouldn't see anything back, that was certainly not the case though. I appreciate your response but you really didn't address my and the other residences issues. You addd a few new cameras but that doesn't help the fact that my car, as well as other residences cars were broken into and your management team kept it - hush hush - Rather then mention it in the news letter. It helps when we all can be made aware of - what's going on here "the good and the bad" Perhaps it's the fault of upper management or me being tied of the mediocracy. It would be great if your pool service did a better job at cleaning and managing the amount of chlorine-just look at the notes the last company kept. The pool used to be perfect, as well as the over all appearance a year ago. The management team did a better job, keeping his place clean. Let's raise the expectations! First heatwave of the year, it was Saturday and I'm turning on my AC for the first time in 2020. The AC wasn't cooling down my place and it's not the greatest position to be in especially when quarantined, with a bulldog in the house. I called the office, someone put in a work order right away. Joel was able to come by next day on a Sunday to test it out. Tried a couple things and turned out air wasn't circulating even tho the AC worked so he went on the roof to check the compressor. Turns out the fan shorted out and had to replace a part for it to work. By the following day, he already had the part ordered and picked up and came by to install it and make sure the AC worked. The Good: - No packages stolen The Bad: - The noise. When other reviews mention of noise, take it seriously. There's ALOT of noise at this complex: - Dogs barking at all hours of the day. - Landscapers cutting grass/leaf blowing at 8am which what seems to be occurring almost every other day (i recorded a video of them cutting grass which was basically 70% dirt..) This is mainly between mon-fri. - Multiple variety of cars from residents to non-residents that I kid you not are drifting, screeching their cars and speeding with their exhaust muffler blasting at 12am. - People that talk EXTREMELY loudly all throughout the night. Whether they are walking and hanging out by the sidewalk, hanging out at the residential complex, or at the commercial complex across from the main pool. One time there was a man talking to his friends (dont think they were vantis residents) talking really really loudly and when some vantis residents came out to confront the guy that he's being loud at 11pm, for the next hour he was screaming at the top of his lungs wanting to fight the resident. Even with the windows fully shut, there are some nights i wake up throughout the night, at 12am, 3am, 5am, multiple times due to the above. I dont think the vantis apartments management takes these noise complaints seriously. I lived in many cities, many metropolitan areas that you would assume would have alot of noise issues. This apartment complex by far is the loudest i've ever experienced by miles. read more

your reply to my review about you advertising Vantis apartments as affordable apartment units and I mentioned the fact that it is false that you raise the rent 10% every year and the amount of money that you advertise as being the maximum a person can make to live here and qualify to rent is less money than a person could actually even come up with and pay for the rent you said in your reply to me that Vantis is affordable and qualifies because you have 20 apartments that are in that category well let me tell you there are what close to 1000 units in this complex and you advertise as affordable housing when there's only 20, which by the way has a huge waitlist 20 out of 1000 I'm definitely going to talk to the city and if nothing else you need to correct your false advertising also your response online shows a picture of a blonde woman and it shows the name Shay as a first name a capital a. For the last initial what you know that's another false scam outrageous thing Shea is a conglomerate a corporation I don't know who the blonde woman it's probably a stock photo but she certainly isn't the owner as you claim in your responses and I'm really not sure that that's legal. This company has done nothing but take away amenities, not follow any covid PPE protocols, and then raise the rent to even higher rates with less to offer. I live in America 10 years and first time I've seen this situation when the consultant does not greet guests. The frequency of false alarm fire alarms is extremely unacceptable. It is the most jarring and loud fire alarm sound I've ever heard. It goes off at any hour of the day or night including 5:30am just a couple days ago and 10:00am today. This is also a major fire hazard as there is no way to let me know if there is a real fire which could put my life in danger. The fire alarm system needs a major overhaul ASAP. I've been in big buildings with smokers etc. and I've never experienced even a tenth as many false alarms. It's clearly the system being too sensitive. I'm concerned this won't happen quickly as I've seen two reviews on here complaining about the same from 2+ and 3+ years ago so clearly it's not a new issue although perhaps it has gotten worse. To be fair, the leasing and maintenance staff are generally helpful and effective. The apartment is pretty nice and the price is expensive but that's roughly fair for the area. read more

Customer service alone at Vantis is impeccable. The grounds are beautiful, the apartments are all up to date and have gorgeous fixtures. I have dark hardwood floors and a loft and I am in heaven! Yes, Vantis is slightly more expensive than other apartments in the area however it is worth every penny more and then some for what you get. The pools are kept extremely well. There is free coffee by the leasing office where you can enjoy delicious Starbucks and look at the glistening pool while sitting on a beautiful shaded deck. Trash shoot!! Kept and cleaned EVERY DAY! This is the one thing that has made me cringe at other properties! A separate shoot for recycling! HOLLAR! I recommend 10000 percent. Very poor management, low quality complex walls ands floors are literally made of paper, i can hear everything my neighbors do, my unit shakes when neighbors walking 24/7 or late night or if they are using bathroom or washer and dryer everything is loud, the doors are heavy and loud, everyone got dogs and all barking, kids screaming in the hallway patios or inside. my online order packages been lost so many times, not a peaceful place to live just looks good from outside. read more

OH Vantis - how I miss you EVERY DAY. Like any complex, you have a few short comings - but as a home, a retreat away from the world, a resort to call home, you can't be beat. The rooftop patio, the pools, the amazing business and community areas where the wi-fi is strong and the air conditioning works ALL THE TIME...it's a little bit of paradise. (Before you complain here...working air conditioning is a luxury not to be taken for granted) Whatever negative anyone posts about Vantis, they need to come to Denver and search through the thousands of poorly built, poorly run, horribly built new apartment communities. Vantis is an EXCEPTIONAL property. Trust us. ...and Sindy...Sindy is amazing. Anything we needed, anytime, Sindy was there. When we rented the first noisy apartment - living on Aliso Viejo Parkway has it's challenges - some people seem to be OK with it - we quickly realized were not "those" people. She happily helped us find a better option within the community which turned out to be quiet, have a great view, tons of windows and close to the elevator and parking. Moving a second time in the building was totally worth it...and Sindy was there to make sure it went smoothly and did all of the necessary paperwork to make sure our utilities and other payments transitioned seamlessly along with us. Sometimes it was a simple request - other times it was trying to resolve a bigger problem...we never once questioned her outstanding resident service. There is a sure confidence when you ask Sindy for anything that it will get done, and in a timely manner with compassion and concern. Three managers have tried to wrangle this property, and I'm amazed the company doesn't see her as the answer to finally finding an excellent property manager at Vantis. As second in command, she runs the property like a manager should - we have seen her out walking the property taking notes, helping residents move in and out, and running the office like a champ on a busy, short staffed Saturday. She is always smartly dressed, traversing an enormous property making sure residents see every option, wrangling resident issues quickly and efficiently, and always with a calm demeanor, and positive, professional attitude. When it came time for us to make a hard decision to move from California to Denver, Sindy was a huge help in so many ways. We wanted to transfer our lease, which was complicated, but after we discussed our reasons, Sindy did everything possible to make our transition easier. She went to bat for us and finalized our transfer in less than 2 weeks. She gave us great advice when we took a trip to visit Denver, and when we came home after choosing a sister property, Sindy was a touchstone through our entire move. She arranged for me to leave a car at the property while we drove a truck and second car to CO, and when we came for the first car, our return deposit had already been processed and our paperwork for the transfer finalized. She took the time to sit down and go over everything on our return and again, we were SO impressed with her organization, efficiency, and willingness to go above and beyond to make our move as seamless as possible. We also asked if she could gather the mail that always gets left behind from our box after moving. She not only gathered the mail but continued to update us after mailing it. Who does that these days??? We hope Ramone, the newest manager, realizes how awesome Sindy is and works to promote her the way she deserves to be. She is an exceptional employee and someone I hope to call a friend for many years to come. We will miss you Vantis - Colorado is a poor substitute for So Cal - and finding a manager like Sindy is hard to come by. I think we will miss you most. Been living here for one year and renewing for another. We love it! It's luxury, clean, pretty and has great amenities. The gym totally rocks, they have a pet spa, a yoga studio, a zen lounge, fitness classes, two gorgeous pools, an amazing game room, outdoor movie theatre and free Starbucks coffee machine (need I say more! Haha). Yes there are some nuisances. We had ants during the summer, I had to hire a grocery delivery service because it's so far from your car to the apartment, I have to use a dolly to lug anything over to my apt, the fire alarms are too sensitive.
