The Universe has a perverse sense of humor and our problems started. I had a "vanity" key pattern I really liked. I found something close. Got it cut at Lowes. It worked in the new side door lock but not the front door. Then we discovered that one of the keys that came with the new lock also didn't work in the front door. I ordered a keyblank like the one I prefer. We tried a (different) locksmith in Everett. He cut the key, it didn't work, he declared the blank "junk" and said "throw it away. He cut me an aluminum key; half of the teeth were missing. We also had a lot of communication problems. We tried another Everett locksmith who claimed they had a blank like I wanted in stock. They didn't. I was frustrated. Today we tried Everett Lock and Safe. They: recut and filed the two almost-working keys to work in the front door AND cut me two working keys with the blanks I like. Extra points for no communication issues. If we need a locksmith or to have another key cut, this is where we will go! 10 stars!

I pay for a service I am not even getting because they used inadequate equipment and did the least amou lont of work possible so I would sign their contract. So now my stuff is stolen from my garage and they stole my money for a system that does not work and did not keep my home safe. After my items were stolen they sent someone to check the equipment...after?? I would not recommend anyone use this company and look for a more repudable company that will recommend the proper quality equipment before your home is burglarized.

The owner was quick to come over to my house and go through what I wanted in an alarm system. Not once did he pressure sell me or try to frighten me into using his monitoring services. When the installers came to my home they made sure I was happy with the installation, they cleaned up after themselves and at the end of the day you could not even tell they were here. I don't know much locksmiths in Vancouver anymore. Most of them now adays don't have a store. So…read moreyou call and they charge you a premium. I rather take a lock out and bring it to them. I have gotten many keys done here and as well rekeying locks. For cutting keys. I have to say 99% of the time its perfect and works great. Well there was this one time where I bought in a double sided cut key and they tried like 4 times and they still couldn't get it perfect and at the end they refunded me. Well its good that they stamp all their keys with their company so they know they are the one who cut the key. Well at the end, I got the double sided key cut at Rona and it was done perfectly. Well Rona spent a lot more time on it. Al Scott did it in a rush and probably done it too fast so it didn't work. The double edged key was for a commercial building parkade lock. A lock that is no longer commonly used. I prefer the older lady cutting my key oppose to the guy at the store front. Seems like she does a better job. I come here because its only 5 mins walk for me to test the key out. Since its close by at times I also get my personal key cut here. I don't mind paying the premium because its close by and no need to drive. In walking distance like 5 mins from where I am most of the time. Plus they open during office hours.
