I would give a zero if I could. Guess we just got the wrong installers (who never gave a name) as others seem so satisfied. We bought a double oven and stove top from Lowe's and paid for delivery, installation and haul away of oven. Several things went wrong, and remain wrong: 1. We set aside an entire day for delivery and installation, as the company won't give a time frame until the night before. The first guy showed up and refused to bring the oven upstairs (our house rests above our garages. This has never been a problem before. He said we'd have to pay extra for a second person. He left even though we were on the phone with Lowe's trying to sort things out. 2. Lowe's agreed to deliver the double oven free of charge so Pacific could install it. This appointment went smoothly, even though Isaac the Lowe's delivery person couldn't even drive up the drive with his large truck. he put the oven on the dolly and rolled it up our steep drive and up the stairs, and parked it in our dining room. Thank you Isaac! 3. Pacific guy #2 came and did manage to install the oven, but only after inserting some plate related to the hookup we agreed to, which he said was $25. He did however refuse to haul away the old oven as his company hadn't delivered it (ie refused to deliver it). Lowe's on the phone insisted he should, but he refused. He also refused to hook up our stove top over wiring concerns that would take $300 to remedy; we'll have our licensed contractor fix that. 4. Finally our Pacific guy stood on our porch and yelled at us, calling us crooks for not handing him $25 even though all of our money interactions are directly through Lowe's who assured us we shouldn't pay these folks direct. So our old oven remains in the dining room waiting for Lowe's to come for it. Our old stove top is a place holder-the new one is in the garage waiting for our contractor. After 3 service calls, this is the situation. read more

We recently had our old KitchenAid combination oven/microwave replaced with a new unit of the same brand. We were a bit concerned about whether it would fit properly given the tight space and the 20-year difference in models. Benjamin handled the installation, and he was fantastic. He made a few minor adjustments and got everything to fit perfectly. He was polite, patient, and took the time to answer all of our questions throughout the process. There was also a miscommunication between Costco and Benjamin regarding the size of the unit. He arrived expecting a single oven, but it turned out to be a much heavier double oven. Despite that, he came fully prepared with the right tools and equipment and managed to complete the installation on his own. I think most people in that situation would have rescheduled and asked for additional help, but he stepped up and got the job done. We really appreciate his effort and professionalism. Ben came to our home and likely broke our shutoff valve, then immediately blamed us instead of taking responsibility for what he had done. After causing the damage, he then quoted us to replace the very valve he broke. At that point, we made it clear that we were willing to pay whatever price was quoted just to get the situation resolved. Instead of handling it professionally, Ben wasted over an hour on the phone with his manager, repeatedly disappearing into his truck for 10-20 minutes at a time, leaving us stuck with no resolution. Throughout this process, Ben's behavior became increasingly condescending and insulting, clearly attempting to provoke us rather than de-escalate the situation. He repeatedly relayed information from his front office that was demonstrably untrue, misrepresenting what had actually happened despite the fact that we witnessed the entire incident ourselves. There was no accountability, no apology, and no effort to resolve the problem. The experience was exhausting and completely unprofessional, and Ben should not be sent into customers' homes without significantly better training in both technical competence and basic professionalism. read more

The delivery driver refused to remove the feet in order to install the Bosch dishwasher and then raised his voice at me in my own home. I ultimately had to ask him to leave. After that, the unopened dishwasher remained on the truck for 72 hours because the company would not return it to Costco right away, which delayed my refund. The entire experience was extremely frustrating. I hope Costco considers using a different delivery service in the future. Based on my experience, if something goes wrong with Pacific Express, customers should not expect much support from them. read more

He also provided me alternative options if I did not want to elect to use his services which I find to be very transparent and much appreciated. I didn't feel forced into using his services and appreciate the honesty he provided. The installation was done quickly and without any issues on Benjamin's part. He quickly but correctly installed a GFI and new air gap. I couldn't recommend Benjamin Moore for any plumbing or electrical jobs. He's fantastic and I'm so happy with my new dishwasher.
