Pacific Express installed a dishwasher (that I purchased at Best Buy and who they use for installs) at a rental property that I have in the Orlando, Florida area. I paid for a regular installation, parts, and haul-away, about $250, no problem. When the installer arrived and found that the Bosch dishwasher had been hardwired through a Bosch proprietary electric box (which was attached to the wall next to the dishwasher), he told my tenant that he would have to take the wires from the Bosch box and put them into a regular 110 box with a 110 outlet. He told the tenant it would be an additional $160 to do that. My tenant told him to do the work and paid him so he could get the dishwasher installed and the work finished. I don't have a problem with the fact that the work needed to be done, I have a problem with the fact that $160 seems to be an outrageous amount to charge for the work. The installer, I'm assuming used a $3 plastic electric box and a $2 electric outlet. I'm also thinking it took him maybe 10-15 minutes to complete the work. I'm also upset at the $160 cost because of the fact that the installer was already there and being paid to install the dishwasher. I understand the need for the extra charge and would have been fine with an $80 charge, but $160, come on! Unfortunately, because I don't live near the property and only found out after the fact, I could not tell them to forget the install, and I would finish it myself. Again, I don't have a problem with an extra charge for extra work, but I feel the charge was way too much considering the work and circumstances. I won't be buying anything from Best Buy if I know they will use the same company to do the install. read more

This review is in regards to a dishwasher that I purchased at Lowe's March 2025 and was installed by Pacific Express. It took me this long to write my review because I just couldn't let go of the unpleasant experience that I had with Pacific Express. The installation was done by Julio Enriquez. Terrible lazy work. Damage done to my plumbing. $35 Air gap destroyed. The drain and water hoses were shoved in cabinet leaving no space for the items usually stored there. Didn't know how to correctly run lines because I don't have a garbage disposal and I guess it's not something they come across. The dishwasher was removed from packing material to keep the trash from making a mess in home. Huh? I was picking up trash from around my property for a week. The samples from Jet dry were missing I called the office and spoke to Maria? to ask to send someone by to look at shoddy work. She had been somewhat pleasant until my request to have Julio's supervisor come by. She became belligerent. Luis came by to repair and recheck work done by Julio. He asked for me to sign off on paperwork work stating his work was done for cosmetic reasons. Covering for Julio. Whole thing was a time consuming headache. read more

The manner and attitude of the owner's response is not surprising. From reading other 1-star reviews, his m.o. to bad reviews is to respond by accusing the reviewers of lying. Yes, we're all liars and making it all up. The statement of "lying because you are mad that you didn't come to the door." doesn't even make sense. Text messages sent from the installer for proof of no-shows. The first text is "installer coming in 25-35 minutes". Not true, no one came. The second text , "your technician is on the way", was also a no-show. When these photos were sent to the owner for explanation and proof, the response was "We arrived during your time frame of 1:30-5:30. If you were not home then, then that is not our fault. " I was home from the time I received the notification text. I was seated at my office desk with a clear view of my driveway and street, so I could see everything. . Garage door left open and car parked on the street for the installer to have kitchen access. During this period, no one came, and I did not receive a phone call message. Also called the business number at least 3 times with no answer or reply. I waited until 6 pm. I understand miscommunication can happen during deliveries. I do not know what time that photo was taken, as my Ring camera is disabled. Perhaps the installer arrived earlier than he said he would? If so, this could have been acknowledged and the matter resolved. Instead the owner was dismissive, denied all accountability, and makes accusations of lies. This company came to my home to install a dishwasher from Costco. It was absolutely the worst experience ever! They were 4 hours late for their appointment. They did not even have the proper knowledge to use a level! When they told me that the installation was complete and they were ready to leave, the dishwasher stuck out almost three inches from the edge of the counter! The rubber flange that is suppose to go inside of the cabinetry to protect water damage was on the outside of the cabinets! They ran the test cycle of the dishwasher but they did not even remove all of the protective packaging! These installers were very rude and kept telling me that the unlevelness was all my imagination even though I showed them all of the measurements with a tape measure. They had no explanation. On top of all of this, at the beginning, they told me that they could not use the electrical outlet behind the dishwasher that had been put in for the previous Costco dishwasher. They charged me $150.00 to put in a new outlet under the sink. After I called and complained, Costco sent out a different company to inspect the job. The first thing that they found is that the outlet they put in was not even a ground fault outlet that they stated they needed! This company replaced the outlet with the correct one, increased the legnth of the wiring so it was not pulling on the dishwasher, straightened and leveled the dishwasher and put the security tab on the underside of the couter. This time, the dishwasher was installed correctly. I will never allow Pacific Express on my property again. read more

Terrible experience with this company. Bought an appliance from Lowe's and Pacific Express was assigned as a subcontractor for the instalation by Premiere (Lowe's principal installation contractor). First, it took three weeks to get scheduled for installation. When the time came, the driver didn't show up. When we called to ask where they were, the driver said we didn't answer the phone so he left...Left? He never came. Didn't bother to ring the doorbell. My whole family was home, changed our plans to be home for the installation, but the delivery guy never showed. It was the Friday 2pm - 6pm window...guy opted to go home or out for a beer rather than do the work. When it came time to reschedule on Monday morning, the operator blamed us for not being home...again, we were clearly home. The phone operator was extremely rude...kept talking over me and then told me I was rude because I wouldn't accept their excuse for not delivering and that I should accept responsibility. Yes...blame the customer for not showing up...nice strategy. Long story short, we contacted Lowe's and voiced our issues. Lowe's was great...Pacific Express...avoid at all costs! If you buy an appliance from Lowe's and are assigned Pacific Express as the contractor, watch out. Probably worthwhile contacting Lowe's and/or Premiere and getting a different sub-contractor to install for you. This company is scary bad news and I wouldn't trust them in my home...ever. See all of the other 1-star reviews, there is a clear pattern. Step 1: have a terrible service experience, likely don't show up. Step 2: blame the customer. Step 3: have the owner post a non-factual reply defending the bad service, blaming the customer. The path for a losing company who doesn't understand the business they are in. As a pre-emptive comment back to the owner...try instituting a policy of having your delivery guys ring the doorbell. Oh, and by the way, we have security cameras as well as a doorbell camera...no delivery guy came...just like with all the other 1-star reviews. Save your excuses for someone who gives a fart about your terrible internal processes, we don't need them. (On behalf of all the people your company has burned.) Pacific Express installed my new dishwasher. The gentleman who completed it was awesome! He called to give a 30 minute heads up, and was on time! He came in and got right to work. He checked and double checked everything. He took the time to go over the controls and all. It was a VERY good experience, and given the choice, I would use them again! So, I had another item delivered and installed by PE...and sheer coincidence: I got the same guy!!! (He brought another guy, as well). Just like the first time-- absolutely amazing service!! Demarkus is the guy you want for delivery and installation (I didn't get the other guy's name, but he was also GREAT!!) They called 30-35 ahead, were on time, got the job done quickly, and made sure I was satisfied. I still maintain that, given a choice, I'd hire these guys WITHOUT HESITATION!!! read more

Review for Pacific Express Installation and Services This morning at 9:31 AM, I received a call from a gentleman representing Pacific Express Installation and Services. He informed me that he would be arriving at my home within 10 minutes to deliver my dishwasher. An hour passed with no delivery, so I called him back. To my surprise, he claimed that the dishwasher had already been delivered and left in my living room. This was simply not true--I had been home the entire time, and no one had come to my door. I became concerned that the dishwasher had been delivered to the wrong address, so I called the company and spoke with a representative named Maria -Office Manager 760-421-0390. I honestly don't think While I was trying to explain the situation and express my concern, she interrupted me and told me to be quiet. I was shocked and upset by her unprofessional and disrespectful behavior. As a customer, I expect clear communication and respectful service. Unfortunately, that was not the case here. I am very disappointed with how this situation was handled and have asked Lowe's not to use this company again. First off I wish I could give this company a zero cause that is what they deserve! I purchased a dishwasher through Lowe's and they contracted this company to come out to install. They showed up and installed the dishwasher well when I went to use it the dishwasher wouldn't turn on (my outlet was faulty) but when I called Lowe's because I thought it was the dishwasher I was informed by Lowe's that they shouldn't have installed the dishwasher in the first place because my home didn't have an air gap which is required by California codes. The installers from this company never told me that I needed an air gap they just installed and left but put in their notes that the customer was informed about the need for an air gap and told them that they could just install without it and that I'd figure that out later ! That NEVER happened! I had no idea that I needed an air gap until I spoke to Lowe's! Lowe's sent them back to my home and their installers tried to strong arm me into believing that I had in fact been told about the air gap and it became so uncomfortable that I had to text my adult daughter to come downstairs! I called Lowe's and told them about the experience I had with these installers and requested that they not be sent back to my home again ! Well they set up another appointment and they were supposed to come out and install the air gap at their cost per Lowe's and when I spoke to the woman on the phone today regarding that next appointment she told me that Lowe's is lying to me about it being a code violation and that they could lose their license for installing the dishwasher without it and that they 100% would not be paying for the air gap . The woman accused me of being rude to her when in fact she was the one being rude and actually told me to be quiet so she could explain to me that Lowe's is lying and I'm wrong ! This company is awful, and is unfortunately contracted by Lowe's, Best Buy and Costco. Avoid using them if you can. Poor coordination in scheduling. Poor communication skills. Poor customer service. Not worth $185 for installation fees in my opinion. They were contracted by Lowe's to install an overhead microwave for us. We took time off of work to be available for the date we requested to install (a Wednesday). They rescheduled the appointment incorrectly for the next day (Thursday), Issue #1. Obviously we hadn't planned for that, so we scheduled them to come the following Wednesday. Less than an hour later they send us a text message to confirm our appointment to install a DISHWASHER. Issue #2. A week passes, and we're waiting again for the installers to come. The window of installation was 1PM - 5PM. At 4PM we hadn't even received a phone call for ETA. We tried to call, but their offices were closed at 3:00. Not available for help, issue #3. Installer arrived at 4:55PM. How is this company going to schedule us last, after we made the appointment a week ahead and with all the issues to date? We refused the installer, and told him we were returning the microwave to Lowe's. There are no pictures to show because this company did not follow through. Unprofessional. Rude. Damage. I am shocked that Costco still contracts them. My my mother purchased a dishwasher through Costco. Pacific Express Installations sent Eric out to install it. My mother sent me a pictures of her cabinet after he was finishing installing. I could not believe that a technician would cause such damage and not even tell the customer. My mom asked him about it and he said "it was already messed up." I called the company and talked to Bill. He was extremely rude, dismissive, and talked to me as if I was bothering him. He texted me a picture of what the technician saw before the install. There was definitely wear to my moms cabinet but nothing compared to after the installation. As a business owner myself we would show our customers any problems before work is done, possible problems.. and if there was increased damage, we would discuss it with them.... not walk out the door. Both Eric and Bill do not seem to value customers homes, communication and or to make things right. I understand there is wear and my mom's cabinet was fragile beforehand... BUT YOU DON'T HAVE A TECHNICIAN CAUSE EXTRA DAMAGE AND WALK OUT THE DOOR AND ACT LIKE IT WAS NO BIG DEAL. Also, if the technician noticed the cabinet may not be sturdy enough, he probably should have been more careful during the install. Or even just communicate!! I'm shocked that the office would also have this opinion. Not even apologize or offer to even put a piece of plyboard over it. My mom is in her late 70s and would not even know what to do to fix this. Bill told me "well your mom wanted a dishwasher"... just wow!!!!! This company is awful. PLEASE BEWARE! We purchased a dishwasher from Costco which was installed 3 weeks prior by a company called Direct Connect (contracted by Costco). The installer was very professional and had it installed within 15 minutes. Unfortunately the unit was defective and a replacement had to be ordered. This time Costco contracted Pacific Express. Two installers from Pacific Express showed up and brought the unit in on a dirty dolly leaving marks all over the floor. They unwrapped the new unit and measured it along with the outside of the old unit. The installer said the new unit wouldn't fit. I explained that it was the exact same measurements as the existing unit that was being replaced by costco. I also pointed out that the unit sits on the concrete floor and he was measuring from the tile which was a half inch difference in height. Whether embarrassed or just lazy, he said he would not install the unit because it wouldn't fit. The installer piled the trash on top of the new unit and declined to take the old defective unit that costco said they would be picking up We called Costco who ended up giving us a $200 credit to hire another installer who would come out the same day. We did so and within 15 minutes the new unit was in with nearly an inch to spare. Avoid at all costs and if costco is sending them, call to ask for a different vendor! read more

Yorman explained what they needed to do before they started the job. They both saw that my flat top stove was covered and had to remove the trim to our cabinets, therefore after they were finished the installation looked like nothing had been done to the cabinets. what a perfect job. Armonti Miller was professional, on time, and did a quality job on all appliances in our new home. However, the Pacific Express process of confirming, as well as following up, via text was very upsetting.
