Firstly, Craig and Tim were both great to work with. I felt comfortable with both of them from the start. I am a meticulous DIYer, and have high expectations for the work on my house. I also wanted to do some pieces of the projects myself to save some money. They worked around my schedule, and we were able to do everything we wanted. We asked to have regular meetings to connect about plans and progress and to go over any work. Whenever there was something we wanted fixed, they were quick to take action and made things right. They were also always happy to take a call or answer a text, and they kept us in the loop every step of the way. Because I'm used to doing it all myself, and they were usually working while I was away, this really helped me to feel a part of what was going on! Not only was the quote we received from Strong Builders VERY competitive, they stayed on budget! Any increases were due to choices we made along the way and were always talked about in advance. We knew just what to expect and there were no surprises at the end. The whole team was friendly and polite. My wife always felt safe at home while they were there, and I appreciated what a clean job site they kept. I was also impressed with some of their creative solutions to challenges in the project. We highly recommend requesting George for any tile project you might have. He worked with precision and always checked to make sure we were satisfied. We were annoyingly particular and he happily met our OCD-like expectations! Donado (sp?) was their jack-of-all-trades and around all the time. Everyone was really pleasant and many felt like friends by the end of things! The whole thing did take longer than we expected, however, all along the way we told the fellas that we didn't mind wait, as long as things were done well! But we feel that it's worth mentioning for full disclosure. We would absolutely recommend you give Strong Builders a call for your next project!

I then called STRONG BUILDERS and they were there for me in a matter of hours. Price was Very reasonable . They replaced all my piping and got my Hot water back on and the flow of water throughout my house has never been better! Thank you Craig, Donato, Tim, Kelly . I want to say this company when ever they came in to do work , even on the outside , they always cleaned up after themselves. One…read moreexample: When switching knobs and hinges, this contractor put 9 keyed locks inside my home, with 9 different keys. I was shocked! He said, no problem, I will change them. Then he replaced them with blank pulls, with no locking ability. Such poor planning and decision making. Imagine using the restroom, and having no way to lock someone out for privacy. Or originally, needing a key to enter the restroom? He said, no problem, I will change them, again! After being behind schedule, he said it was my fault. Concerns: language/understanding quality/finishing touches basic understanding/clarification of topics rude/mean/threatening late to arrive/early to leave Still not finished, and I had to tell them, you are not allowed back in my home. This is only one example, but there were several. This will go further than a review, as a complaint will be filed. Update: after my review was posted, he quickly threatened me by text! I just can't believe this business. Another reviewer contacted me and stated that Remmi threatened her as well, and had also been unprofessional. He threatened to call my employer and tell them on me. What? He stated he would tell them I was drunk all the time. (I painted the outside of my own home, in 90-95 degree temps, on the roof of a 2-story home, at the same time they painted in air conditioning). I could only imagine Isidro, calling my bosses, stating that an employee had been drunk at home, while painting his home, replacing toilets, and working with his father, preparing to sell the home? This is a clear example of Remmi's unprofessional business tactics. Goofy, I tell you; I could not believe me eyes when he texted me this threat (see photo). I tried to fix this, by reminding them of mistakes, asking them to clean up, solving communication issues, but they continually made mistakes, stated that I loved their work, and I was happy. I've used this company twice now. The first time was to repair a leaky toilet. The guy suggested…read morethat I replace the entire "guts" of the toilet. The work was done within an hour. Two or so years later, the toilet has been maintenance-free thus far. The second time was more recent and a much bigger job. This time they expanded the backyard for me. They excavated dirt, poured concrete and built a block wall. I was impressed by the results. My yard is now much more spacious and they were able to do the work based on my vision of what I wanted. The price was slightly higher than other competitors, but the quality was really. In my opinion, it was definitely worth the price. I did not regret going with this company. Jimmy, the owner, was friendly and honest about the job and paid attention to details. He added an extra drain and adapted well to unexpected issues that arose (i.e. weather, damaged concrete under the old wall, hidden roots and sprinklers). The quality of work from this company is very questionable…read more I hired them to install a brand-new roof, and at the beginning, the owner Eric sounded extremely confident and proud of his work. He assured me that once the roof was installed, I wouldn't have to worry about leaks for a very long time. Unfortunately, that promise didn't last even a couple of months. I discovered a leak shortly after the installation. From that point on, communication became a nightmare. I texted and called repeatedly with no response. This went on for over a year, until I finally had to tell him that I had his license number and would file a complaint and pursue legal action if he didn't respond. After that, he agreed to come take a look--but even then, it was constant excuses, cancellations, and no-shows. Months later, he finally showed up with his crew. They spent about an hour on the roof, said the issue was fixed, and left. The next time it rained, the same spot was still leaking. Once again, I had to go through weeks of calling, texting, and emailing before he came back. This time, he claimed the leak was not related to his installation. That makes no sense--this was a brand-new roof installed by his company, and it started leaking almost immediately. Despite the roof being under warranty, I was told I would need to pay extra. Communication has consistently been poor, and they do not stand behind their work. The amount of time and energy it takes just to get a response is exhausting. At this point, I'd rather hire a completely different roofer to fix the issue--even though the roof is technically still "under warranty." I would not recommend this company.
