My dad and I have tremendous gratitude for the excellent and friendly service we received from this wonderful and personable family-run business. I consider the co-owners -- Heather and Florin Toderean -- a couple of lifesavers for installing carpet as quickly as they did. Thank you!!! They are honest, empathetic, knowledgeable, professional, thorough, and great communicators. They will work with you to make sure that you get the flooring you need. I found their business on this Yelp page (Pacific Coast Services is the carpet cleaning side of their business + Heirloom Flooring Gallery is the flooring installation side of their business). My father is elderly and needed carpeting installed very quickly, it was a matter of safety. Where he lives, the old carpeting was being replaced with hardwood floors, and we needed to have carpet installed shortly after the hardwood floors were installed (on top of the hardwood flooring) -- it was a matter of safety for my father who tends to fall. The fear was that he would injure himself if he didn't have carpeting. With my dad's safety and peace of mind being the utmost concern, I knew I wanted to hire a professional to install the carpet to have it done right. Heather, Florin and their crew got the carpeting installed in the time frame we needed, in the way that we needed it. They were efficient, knowledgeable and professional. They are also very senior-friendly -- patient, willing to go over details as long as necessary, and kind. I initially spoke with Florin, who patiently and thoroughly described the process and told me what was possible in terms of timing and meeting our specs for the carpeting. I was so grateful to learn from him that their crew could also move furniture in and out before and after the carpet installation for an extra fee. It was a relief because it meant that I didn't need to travel to be present for the install. My dad and I then met with Heather who walked us through our options and patiently helped us find a good match in terms of material type, color, and shipping speed -- it took a while because we had to have two particular specs match up, but Heather was super patient. She was also very kind and empathetic to our situation ... Their policy is that the carpet must be picked out in person-- and I strongly agree -- it's best to see the color and feel the texture of the carpet samples. After we put in our order, Heather then kept me in the loop in terms of timing, shipment of the carpet, and scheduling of the install up until the day before the install. For me and my dad, the carpet issue was a stressful one, but thanks to Heather and Florin, it all worked out so wonderfully. Peace of mind is priceless and that is what they gave us. I will continue to do business with Heather and Florin and Heirloom Flooring Gallery/Pacific Coast Services, and I would highly recommend them to anyone! read more

I received excellent service this week from Florin. My home is in Gold River and I found Pacific Coast through their shop in Carmichael. I needed a good cleaning and had no further expectation. He immediately identified some fraying and wear at the tile transition right at the front entry. I had resigned myself to that being part of old carpet. Florin not only cleaned my carpets but he fully treated a room that I thought was destroyed. After fostering kittens, the room was in horrible shape but Florin treated the carpet (top & bottom), the padding, and replaced the wood trim. He also cleaned the carpet in the rest of the house & was able to remove stains that other carpet cleaners weren't. I needed carpet repair for a fireplace spark burn, and then where the dog chewed the new carpet....Also, carpet that Empire had installed had a huge bump in it, and Florin stretched it, because Empire had not installed in correctly....Excellent work, BUT, while he was at my house, the kitchen sink seemed to "BURP" and let off a terrible smell..... Florin said I needed a plumber ASAP, and called a guy he had used many times.....What a help! We had a very small install job for a theater riser (about 7 feet by 10 feet). We already bought the carpet. I called Pacific Coast Services and Florin Toderean made arrangements to come out and install it the same day. He provided the tac strips and some high quality padding. Absolutely the best carpet cleaning money can buy! We had stains no one else has ever been able to remove. They always look great for a week, then return. Not this time! Costs a little more but usually companies clean my carpets in about 1 1/2 hours, Odie spent over 3 1/2 hours cleaning my carpets and they are the cleanest they have ever been.
