I was extremely happy with this company!! The owner himself came out to give me an estimate and he even personally came out to explain the estimate and made sure we could work it to fit my budget. I interviewed other companies and they just sent me the estimate via email but no explanation. The project took a little bit longer than expected but they had warned me of that at the beginning which I really appreciated. They said they wanted to make sure the proper job was done. The workers arrived early every single day and they worked very hard. I work from home and I felt very safe with them working out back all day. Set up an in home consult but never showed or called. A week later, still hadn't heard from them. Can't speak to their product, just their service. I used the quick quote option on yelp and 4 providers reached out to me to quote and let me know how they could maintain my yard. Jeff was extremely professional and provided an honest quote that was the most reliable for what I needed. If I could give a minus if I would. You should avoid this company as they are dishonest, have unethical business practices and the owner is not at all competent in landscaping design and/or implementation. This company provided a quote and timeline my backyard. Once I provided the initial upfront funding the owner, Jeff, would literally have his workers stop by for couple of hours each day as they rotated from other jobs. After speaking with several of his workers I realized he was basically working to secure business and capturing the upfront payment then dragging the work on to keep all of his workers busy in propagation for bigger commercial jobs. I asked for several minor updates to the design and he refused to consider any alterations without a significant change fee and an even further "delay". I could literally go on and on here but this guy is a salesman and nothing more. Would strongly recommend taking your business elsewhere! read more

Called them at the two week timeframe to see what was up and Jeff had no recollection that he owed me an estimate. I had to remind him and now two more weeks later - nothing. Just received a quote of $1500 for backyard/front yard cleanup, removing a large broken branch and trimming a palm tree. I was able to get the same exact service elsewhere for $350 and they were able to do it the next day and exceeded expectations. They need more competitive prices. read more

Jeff was able to give me a quote through pictures (that was accurate) and had his team over first thing in the morning to do some trimming/cutting down for me. I did not meet him or his team directly, but my partner did and she says they were kind, considerate, and professional. His price was $200 less than the other quotes I received, which was great because I had already paid someone else to do the work that bailed half way through. The ONLY issue I have is the clean up. It could have been done much better. But they did haul away all the trimmings (minus a few smaller scraps) they created as well as what the other guy left. read more

Jeff was really easy to work with and offered a great deal of knowledge, patience and suggestion to my project at my rental property. I immediately trusted his vision. I had an unusual situation with drainage, existing landscape rock, and an uneven yard. Jeff offered multiple suggestions, worked with me through many changes and uncertainties and maintained patience all the way along. I had old rock removed, leveled ground, added 24 tons of new rock, added a walkway and patio using pavers. Though they had challenges, the project come out beautiful! Jeff even helped walk me through other suggestions to the property with no charge. I was going to stop short of 5 stars because of a break in the communication at one point, when the job stopped and I wasn't getting any response from Jeff. I was ready to turn to a new landscaper to finish the project, but then Jeff came through, apparently he was very ill. I forgave that snafu even though it caused me great stress. I would still recommend Jeff again and they will likely come back again to begin phase 2. I am extremely pleased with this company. I needed my front and back yard cleaned up and trimmed, especially one lemon tree that had never really been trimmed properly (it became more of a bush instead of a tree). Jeff the owner responded to my request for an estimate on Yelp extremely quickly, and was able to take a look at my yard that SAME DAY (faster than everyone else). Not that you should always expect same-day service, but I appreciated that he was intentional in reaching out as quickly as he was able. Jeff was friendly and knowledgeable, and knew exactly what should be done to help care for that lemon tree. I got 3 other quotes, and Jeff's quote was VERY competitive - unlike what the other 1 star review on here said. The quotes I got from the other landscapers were not all for the same type of work, you have to compare apples to apples. Also, other landscapers really didn't seem to have the same knowledge Jeff had when it came to how to take care of the lemon tree. I'm pleased with what I got for the price, I would call him again for my next landscaping job! read more

Jeff the owner came to my new property this week. We just moved into a new rent-to-own property and the backyard was absolutely gross. Jeff was the 1st person to actually give me a face-to-face estimate which was the reason I chose his company. Jeff told me it would be a 2 man job, all day job, which I agreed with, and he told me he could get me in the following Monday. I get a call the Saturday before from Jeff, and he wants to know if he can send his guys to my house on Sunday to do the clean up. Typically Sunday is family day (game of thrones) so I don't like doing much on Sunday, but whatever, backyard is terrible, told him that it was fine to send his guys. Sunday comes around and Jeff sent his foreman Brandon. Just one guy, not two. To do this entire yard. And it's bad, palm trees overgrown, weeds everywhere, the works, and they send one guy. So Brandon works his ass off honestly all day and gets the yard almost perfect. There was some hidden dog poop under some weeds that I didn't see before they came over, so I went outside and helped clean up the dog poop, so Brandon could finish and get home to his family. It's Sunday, and the guy has 7 kids, so i tell him it's good (even though I know it's not) and tell him to go home. Next day, I text Jeff and let him know about the dog poop situation, let him know I took care of it, and to see if he could send one more guy over to finish the job. His EXACT response, word for word is, "Dude do you understand the cost of gas, and what I pay these guys?". Lol and at this point I go from happy to irate. Not only did Jeff send one guy to do a 2 man job to my house on a Sunday, now this guy is talking down to me and calling me dude? Most unprofessional thing I've ever seen. Apparently Jeff was "making a sarcastic joke" and I "didn't get it over text". Lol complete bs, but whatever. So it takes Jeff until 4:00pm the next day to get another guy to my house and finish the job, and he sent Brandon again. This time my wife was home and I wasn't. Brandon finished the yard and it looks awesome and I can't thank Brandon enough for the amount of work he put in!! My wife and I have been in our new home a little over 2 years and had a drainage problem due to poor grading. We checked with a few reputable contractors for bids and project solutions. Jeff approached the project from an holistic point of view -- looked at the whole rear yard and side yard drainage -- no other contractor did that. The property still had the results of the last major rain in our area after 2 or 3 days, so Jeff was able to assess the problem. When you have standing water on one side of the house, eventually the problem can get more expensive to remedy. The workers were very diligent in the labor intensive project (no power equipment could be used due limited access). Jeff was attentive to his workers over the the 10 days, as well as keeping us informed during each phase. We appreciate good, conscientious workers who cleaned the site up well after completion. read more

Jeff promised weekly maintenance of the pool, but only came when we called him because something was wrong. This resulted in us constantly putting out fires and paying him to "fix" issues on top of the monthly prepaid amount. He was dishonest and misleading. Don't fall for it. read more

Don't do business with this company. I am not a "high maintenance" customer, or an unreasonable one. I only expect good value for my money and responsive customer service which I didn't get. I recently moved into a new home and my previous landscaping company had raised their rates so I wanted to look into a new one. I shotgunned out requests for quotes through Yelp and had many companies stop by. Jeff came to my house, seemed very knowledgeable and gave me a very fair price quote so I went with them. I even agreed to an additional trip charge since I was out of their normal coverage area. I prepaid for the first month. The first time they came out they did not perform a full service. They "mowed" my lawn, which wasn't even really growing due to it being winter and used the leaf blower on my rocks to get rid of some of the debris. I called Jeff and told him that they hadn't pulled weeds, sprayed herbicide, or trimmed my bushes, which are all listed as regular services on the customer service form he had sent me. He said that there was a mistake on the work order given to his employees. He apologized for the mix-up and sent them back the next day and they finished up the service, although I had to remind them again about trimming the bushes. I was happy with the quality at this time. They had only come once during the month, so I felt they should refund me half of the initial charge, but hadn't mentioned it yet. Once the first of the next month came, I was charged in advance as agreed upon. However, I was again charged the full amount on the second, third and fourth day of the month. I contacted Jeff through a text message and he said that he would contact the processing company to get this fixed. I didn't hear back from him after that, even though I requested an update. The fifth day of the month came and there was another charge to my credit card. I called and left a voicemail on Jeff's phone as well as the company line, but still no response. I also texted him requesting a refund on all of the charges this month as well as half of the first month and cancelled any further services. There was another charge on the sixth day, and still no answers from Jeff or anyone at the company. Enough was enough at this point. I ended up having to cancel my credit card and file a dispute with my bank for all of the charges, including half of the first month. There was even an additional attempt to charge my card on the seventh. It is now the ninth day of the month and I have heard nothing from anyone at Pacific about these issues. I cannot continue to do business with a company that makes a mistake like this and refuses to rectify it. I'm human, I understand mistakes happen, but when it isn't fixed and continues to happen, with no responses coming from the company, that's just unacceptable to me and I feel that any potential customers should know about this. read more
