I used to love Pacific Catch but my last few doordash orders have had so many issues. Today I ordered the Salmon fresh catch bowl (which is $30 before all the fees!) and my salmon was so overcooked, dry, and under seasoned it was hard to eat. My sweet potato fries were soggy and missing the side of aioli they're supposed to come with. The miso soup cup was 1/3 full, and it's $7. For a somewhat expensive seafood restaurant the least they could do is not over-cook the salmon. read more

My family and I had just completed touring the Palace of the Arts with a mini photo shoot at the small strip of beach in front of the Golden Gate Bridge, and we were freezing. My cousin suggested looking for a place that sold "clam chowder" and this was the first place that popped up. Spoiler alert, they did not have Clam Chowder, but Salmon Chowder. Which was AMAZING. Everything here was amazing. My husband had the Wagyu Burger, which he said was cooked perfectly. I had the Ahi Poke plate, I'm glad I went with the smallest size, cause it was a lot and I could not finish it. However, that was probably because I was too busy munching on THE MOST MINDBLOWING Brusselsprouts that I've ever had alongside eating the rest of the salmon chowder. My children chose fish and chips, and both were able to finish their plates. The only bummer was that we had to sit outside. We ordered the Original Ahi Poke and the special Korean BBQ Poke bowl which came out pretty quickly. Serving sizes are generous and well worth the amount of money compared to some other poke joints that I've tried. All the ingredients tasted fresh and the fish to rice ratio (as well as other ingredients in the bowl) was more than fair. My only criticism is that the the poke itself was pretty saturated in sauce to the point where I felt like I didn't need to add any more of the sauce that came specifically with the Original Ahi Poke dish. That may just be a personal preference though as I usually opt for light to no sauce. Can't speak for their dinner but for lunch, this place is a solid choice! What a great experience, and amazing food! We almost didn't notice all the bar seats tucked behind the front counter. It was fun sit there and watch the cooks crank out all the delicious food. We had Thai brussels sprouts, the "guaca-poke", and elotes to share. My boyfriend had the the poke chirashi (plate of 3 different styles of poke), and I had a Baja fish taco and shrimp taco. Coming here after spending the day at Crissy field beach with two big dogs was definitely the right choice!!! It was about 75-80 degrees around 5pm in the city (on a Tuesday), and the place was decently busy, not too overcrowded. It is small inside, totally a more intimate setting, and they offered two small tables for outside seating. We happened to come during happy hour 4-6pm and ordered a few tacos and a poke bowl. Their Thai iced tea was awesome, not too sweet and perfectly creamy. I believe they do free refills for non-alcoholic beverages, as my friend got some type of lemongrass iced tea. Our waitress was friendly and quick to get our orders, the kitchen staff was quick to get our food ready as well, and we had no complaints. My Cabo shrimp a la carte tacos were the best thing I've had this month, and their seasoned fries platter was enough to share between my two friends and me. Wow wow wow! I love this place. First time here and just fell in love with it! It is very small with gender neutral restrooms, so I can see it being super crowded at some points of their rush.
