This is how buying a car should be! We worked with Eddie, who was easily the best sales consultant of any dealership we had been to in our car search. Eddie was very educational, helpful, patient, funny, and never pushy. He responds quickly to questions and takes ownership of the entire sales process. Even his manager Chris was amazing! Pacific BMW was very competitive with their offers, willing to go above and beyond to get us into a new BMW. As long as ownership/staff stay consistent and hyper customer-focused, they have won a customer for life. read more

I'm not too sure why this BMW has such bad reviews :-/ I just bought my BMW from here and my experience was very pleasant. My salesperson was Ray who I first emailed then I came in. I think it's very important that you go online to get the internet price and email a salesperson versus going inside without being pre approved or having no idea of what you want. Ray gave me an excellent deal from the start. I got a 2012 3 series (that I'm totally in love with now) for a reasonable price and has an amazing warranty program. Ray didn't try to up sale me or nothing. Everything happen very quickly. I was in and out in no time! My advice is to go online and find out what you want than email a salesperson and get pre approved for what you want. You will save a lot of time and money! read more

Just so everybody knows, this post has been 3+ years in the making. So it is not a one time rash review. I got a euro delivery 335i coupe from Pacific BMW back in 2008. This was before the economy crashed and so dealers had no problems selling these cars at or above sticker - ridiculous! Anyway I spent 9 months researching 35 dealerships in 3 states (yes I went all out to get a good deal ;)) before settling with Greg Poland from Pacific. He's hands down the most straightforward salesperson I've ever met. He knew I was active on the BMW forums and had thoroughly done my research. He gave me the best deal on the west coast, and that's no joke! He took care of my paperwork and didn't charge me an extra dime for the "hassle of European Delivery", as other dealers put it. Even after my car was shipped stateside and I had paid, he continued to service my requests. I had him add racing pedals and a front lip to the bimmer along with a ton of other accessories. He took care of everything, and always exceeded my expectations. He even recommended me to his insurance company so I could get a rock bottom deal on my car coverage - how friggin' awesome is this guy?!! I'm a little surprised by the other negative reviews here. I've always had a great experience with Pacific. Over the course of these 3 years they've sent me mementos like an artists fastback sketch of the 335i (which I framed and still hangs in my bedroom), a pen with a carbon fiber barrel, and invitations to BMW performance events. These may seem nominal gestures at first but I think it shows Pacific's commitment to customer satisfaction long after they've gotten their $$. Greg: Thanks a ton for everything man! I'll be back in the near future for an M3 convertible - European Delivery fosho! :) read more

I have called this dealership over ten times in hopes of speaking to someone (a person not a voicemail) about my car. My client care rep Amy said she would return my call yesterday but never called. I called today and was told Amy was not available and had made no notes on my file. My car was given to the dealer on Friday February 1st. Previous to this I took the car to them for an assessment of the cost and time of repair and was told it would take 1 week. Obviously, it has been well over a week. After discovering that no one will make, take, or return calls I was finally told the repair time will actually be three weeks. I've asked repeatedly if someone can deal with these issues but it appears the manager is out of town till next week, with no one covering his/her duties. As far as BMW goes this is a joke. And it appears this is my last resort to get a return phone call and an explanation of what happened. read more

Watch out for Internet sales: Greg Poland who is the Internet sales manager who showed me his true colors when he responded to a Bimmerfest post of "Rate your BMW dealer" and defended his awful sales tactics. The feedback I posted on Bimmerfest was this: My Pacific BMW Experience: Went in to get a 2013 X5 with low miles with tech & premium packages. Test drive went well and Greg was very cordial. However Greg could not work the numbers for us and left us hanging. Even after it sat on their lot for months afterwards I asked again - Greg would not revisit pricing to get to our price point. Very disappointed overall with this dealership.... They are still the same - they just wanted to maximize their profits and minimize a customer who obviously wants to do business. So in November 2013, I ended up at BMW dealer in Norwalk and they got the same equipped 2013 X5 but brand new at the price point I had been asking for. Appears Pacific BMW is better at catering to the wealthy Glendale folks than those who are looking at a good deal. I will never return to Pacific BMW as a result of years of trying to do business. Dealer Response by Greg@Pacific BMW on May 16, 2014 With all due respect. Why is it when a dealer decides NOT to discount a car or give the buyer the price they want the dealer is the "bad guy". Let me clear something, we all buy new cars from BMW for the same price so you can ultimately get the same deal anywhere. When it comes to used cars we all have different criteria. First what we paid for car....may be more than other store, what was transport fee to get car to us? what reconditioning does car need..?.and lastly what is reasonable profit?. I spend a Lot time trying to give good service and pricing. Why is it that when buyer does not get what he wants it's us not playing ball?. I am sorry your past visits were not to your liking...I knew about this when you came in and tried to give you excellent service. It seems pretty sad to me that you write badly about our transaction because you could not get the price you wanted. Why do I have to get to "your price point" maybe it should be the other way around....I appreciate the chance at your business and respect you as a potential buyer. I am sorry we could not reach an agreement. Bottom line Is you found the car elsewhere and got the deal you wanted . We try to make every deal, but there are some that slip through. I have been on this forum for many years...and have provided and will continue to provide festers with good service, transparency and pricing. FYI ....This post is meant with all due respect and honesty. Please do not take my direct response as being curt or mad....I just want to post the other side of the coin. Funny thing, Greg nor Steve even cared to respond to my request to revisit their vehicle pricing - Greg sent this last email: .....Just reviewed... sorry can't do it. Best to take their offer. Regards, Greg So NEVER do business with Pacific unless you want to be taken on a ride and screwed! read more

Wow, there are a lot of horrendous reviews on here! If I had seen this, I probably wouldn't have gone to this dealer. But I didn't check first, and dropped in a couple months ago. I gotta say, my experience was really good. I ended up with a much nicer model than I thought I would be able to afford. My sales person, Issa, was very patient and took his time trying to find what would really make me happy. It was a far better experience than the VW dealership down the street where I made the mistake of buying my last car. So, I can only speak to the sales department. I hope the service department is as good if I ever need them. I've never been happier with a car, and I've owned quite a few over the last 20 years. read more

Do not buy or lease your car at night. The staff are nice, like other dealerships - give your information to someone who can give you accurate pricing and exactly what you need in terms of breakdown. Also - make sure either night or day you do not sign the paper for the walk around check of the vehicle. Dealerships are notorious for getting you in your car and off the lot missing small parts and messed up tire pressure. read more

Do not go to this dealer. The salesman named Arthur said over the phone he was willing to lower the price but when I got there he started making excuses he said oh unfortunately the price has already been lowered we can't go any lower. I was trading in my other bmw and they tried to lowball me offering me price way below the current market keeping part of my equity for them I even talked to the manager which was even worse he even said why don't you go to other place where they give you more $ for your car LMFAO that's why every car they have has been sitting there for months and never sell anything. I purchased my BMW from Pacific BMW in Glendale, CA a few years ago. The purchase process was okay although at the very end the sales guy tried to get another few hundred bucks from me after agreeing to a price. We verbally agreed on a price and then he brought the paperwork on which the price was different...pretty unethical and petty. So, the purchase process was okay, yet the nightmare began with the servicing of my car. I'd love to delve into many details here, but I'm going to keep the criticism general. My time was not valued by some of the service specialists. They wouldn't deliver on their time promises. In one instance they fixed my radio but ended up scratching my dashboard. In another instance they tried to fix a noise that was coming from the window area, only to make it worse. The most frustrating thing is that throughout the entire process is that the service specialists simply did not care about satisfying me, the customer, who along with all the other thousands of customers are the reason these guys have jobs. My hypothesis on why these guys don't care is because there is such as high demand to get cars from there and to get them serviced there simply because the dealership is in a good area that is convenient for people to get to. So, if they mistreat customer A, there is customer B, C, D, etc... waiting to get through the door. Having said this, losing customers one by one will hopefully one day result in management opening their eyes and saying "what's going on here?" and take the appropriate corrective steps. Until then I will stay away from Pacific BMW. read more

Wow, after waiting 20 minutes for a salesperson I got Edwin. Seems Edwin is not living in the 21st century. He just kept staring at me going back and forth from my torso to my crotch, torso to crotch. Seems he was really freaked out by a female that didn't look like a cheerleader and wanted to drive a BMW. Wake up Edwin, it's a new world, and you need to get on board or you will be a sad, lonely man for the rest of your life. Try and open up your eyes, look around you. Accept and respect. And don't stare, it's rude. Diversity bro. Diversity. Ps: moving on to Audi. read more

Don't do business with this dealership. The service and sales teams are dishonest. The sales team do not give you an honest price. They"ll lie to your face and say things like "we're losing money if we give you that price!" We bought the same car for $5000 less than what they claimed to be a loss. The service team is horrible as well. They put a scratch on my car and didn't tell me. They are dishonest about the availability on loaners. And you have to stay on top of them so they disclose everything to you. You should be getting the best service since this is a luxury brand. Yet they give you generic service!!!! read more

I did some research online and found Greg Poland and Pacific BMW in Glendale. In short order, he gets me a 435i allocation and a date that was impossible according to other delears. Greg got me a European Delivery date of October 7 2013. Also, Greg is no bullshit, he didn't try to pressure me into any options, and didn't play any games. One other thing. I've secured this order with Greg with no deposit. I don't have to even stroke my check to pay for the car until Sept 18, two days before I leave for my trip. Anyway, Greg Poland is worth the drive to Glendale from my Studio City home, right past the losers at Century West.... Best car buying experience of my life. read more

Definitely one of the worst, if not THE worst, BMW dealerships in Los Angeles. Everyone in the service department seems to have a "I don't give a sh*t" attitude, which shouldn't belong in a business that requires excellent customer service. I've had car advisors that said would call me back, but never did. Nobody is attentive to customers, employees just walk around and all claim to not be able to help. When my iDrive screen in my BMW kept freezing, the manager of the service department came by and with a lack of confidence in his voice said that's how the car is supposed to be. Oh, really? A 2012 BMW is supposed to freeze repeatedly and make whistling sounds while I drive? I must be an idiot then. Here I thought a newly leased car should function properly. Funny how the freezing wasn't mentioned on the lease sticker. Basically, the customer service here is so bad that there is absolutely no hope that it improves to a decent level in the next decade or so. If you don't believe me, try giving them a call and see if anyone picks up. I spent hours on the phone the other day calling them. Couldn't get a SINGLE person to pick up. I'm done with this place and I'm done with BMW. read more

Stay away from the Service Department! Scammers. Very disappointed with the service advisor Marco. Without checking first to see if my issue is covered under warranty tried to tell me if my tire sensor is broken he would have to charge me $200 dollars just for checking. Not giving me any options! Wow...I didn't think there would be so many bad reviews about the service department. I've taken my 328i here twice and got a loaner with no problem. However, today they told me I couldn't get a loaner because my insurance card had my wife's name on it and not mine so that didn't prove I had insurance. What a lame ass policy! When you sign their liability papers, you are responsible for any damages so you have to pay even if you don't have insurance. Also, you think someone who can afford to drive a BMW would not have insurance? What idiots! Well they really screwed up my day since I had alot of stuff to handle today. When picked up my car, I went to run a quick errand nearby. Good thing! When I started my car, I noticed the service warning light was not reset. I had to drive back to this lame ass place and had them reset it. Also, my service advisor, Rick, never even apologized for the whole incident with loaner. This is my second BMW and I haven't had a good experiences with their service departments. I used to go to New Century in Alhambra and they were crappy too. I love the car but beginning to wonder if it's worth it. I also have a Lexus and Longo provides amazing service. They don't even ask me for insurance when I get a loaner. I probably will get something else when the lease is up on the 328i. read more

My experience at Pacific BMW was much different than what I expected. I anticipated my experience would go something like this: A moderately budgeted consumer looking for sensible car options being bullied by a luxury brand name car dealership with dozens of financial tricks up their sleeves. On the contrary, my experience was surprisingly more tranquil than the other dealerships I visited on brand. I was taken care of by client advisor Rafy Hatamian. Rafy attentively listened to my needs and constraints, and worked hard to accommodate me. Also, he has a very calm voice and negotiates in a respectful and professional manner... different from your stereotypical car salesman. In the finance department, I was helped by Isam Ayoub, who was also a pleasure to deal with. He was considerate and thorough in explaining details about the purchase. Overall, my experience at Pacific BMW was terrific/flawless. Very straight forward, without any of the greasy antics you'd expect from a car dealership which left me feeling confident after signing a deal and driving off with a new car. Definitely give them a shot, you have nothing to lose and they have excellent complementary coffee at the very least! read more

Beware of this dealership...This place is as shady as they come. Selling a brand new car that has been driven this way by their techs without disclosing to the buyer is shameful. Seriously it's worth buying or servicing your car anywhere but here. This place is shameful. I purchased my new BMW from Pacific BMW a couple months ago. I can't express how excellent the purchase experience was. Julio was my sales person, and was excellent. I drove from San Diego to Glendale just for this vehicle, and it was absolutely worth it. I'd recommend anyone in the market for a new BMW buy it here. read more

I rarely write yelp reviews, so when I take the time to do so it's usually because I had a memorable experience or I received an amazing deal. Well with my latest car from Greg Poland at Pacific BMW it was both. I have been Greg's customer for 3 years and this was my second car from him. 3 years ago Greg gave me a ridiculously great deal on a 550i msport that I was able to pick up in Munich Germany. No bargaining, no haggling over pricing, and complete full disclosure about all things related to the transaction (option to do multiple security deposits, base rate money factor, lockable residuals, etc.) I very much appreciated how attentive Greg was to all of my concerns with my first European Delivery experience and how accessible he was. We did everything by email (which I prefer), but he also returned all of my calls promptly. My 3 week european delivery trip--which included driving on the autobahn, the back roads of the german country side, the swiss alps, the italian autostrada--is still to this day the best trip I have ever had in my life. Fantastic experience and Greg was there to assist throughout and until re-delivery back in Glendale. Fast forward 3 years. I decided to turn in my 550i and get an M5. Greg helped me extend my lease 3 months so that I could pick up a 2016 in germany in september. My plans changed however when BMW released the lease numbers for the 2016 and they were terrible. The new '16 cars were a lot more expensive than the '15 cars. Seeing as how there were no design or feature changes made between the 2015 and 2016 models, it made absolutely no sense to get a 2016. But it was too late to custom order a '15, so Greg started hustling to find me a car that had the specs I was looking for. I eventually found one on my own at another dealership. Once that dealership found out I was a Pacific customer, they offered me a ridiculously crazy deal on a loaded car with all 3 packages and custom carbon fiber accessories throughout. I came within a hair of pulling the trigger on the spot because it was a no-brainer deal. But I told them that I would think about it for a night. I called Greg, not to get a counteroffer, but to give him the courtesy of thanking him personally and to tell him of my decision to go with another dealership. Greg called me back the next day. Not only did he find me a car that had 95% of the options I was looking for, but he got me a deal better than the other dealership, and he had all of the carbon fiber accessories installed to match to the other car. I was amazed and I agreed to Greg's deal on the spot. What was most impressive was how hard Greg worked to keep my business. He's really good at what he does and does not take his customer's business for granted. I respect that. And I'll probably end up doing business with him and Pacific for a long time to come. I can wholeheartedly recommend both Greg and Pacific BMW without hesitation. read more

I've had two terrible experiences with this dealership. I don't even think one star is deserving of this business. The first, earlier this year I had a service done that required me to take a loaner over the weekend. When I returned the loaner one evening just as the dealership was closing I realized I had left my work phone along with a jacket in it. I tried to call immediately just minutes before closing, but no one answered. I left a message about it and no return call till I called back the next morning. The loaner department said there wasn't anything in the car, but I had a friend in my car with me that could validate that I did. Unfortunately, there was no way of me proving it. The second time was recently. I had $18,000 in repairs done to my car through their service department and now my car drives terribly. There is a constant pulsing vibration when I drive. I've mentioned that this issue was not their before the repair. They've clearly created this problem with my car and now I find it no longer driveable and I've decided to sell my car as I also think my safety in this has been compromised. After almost 2 months (Oct 2022- Nov 2022) of having my car I realized they were not competent to resolve this issue when this issue was a result of their repair. I was basically forced to take the car as is which is likely a permanent problem. Because of this dealership I have decided to sell my car and leave the BMW brand completely after owning 3 BMWs 12 years later. I can't express enough my disappointed with Pacific BMWs service. I feel absolutely scammed and I'm sure my insurance company does too. I've read a lot of reviews about the service department recently and this seems to be a general consensus. I've tried to speak to a GM or any managers and all I've been getting was the run around. Looks like I'll have to send a letter to BMW North America. I encourage everyone else that felt like they've been scammed by this dealership to do so as well. read more

I had a key shipped from the BMW key replacement factory, because i lost my last key. They told me it would be there this morning at 9:30 am, which it was. I was working all day, but the BMW parts department, where my key is, is open until 7 PM according to their phone and website. I show up at 6:15, and they tell me they close at 5. After explaining that every sign they own says they close at 7, I decided to ask for a manager. "The manager isn't here anymore, sir," said the woman. I then decided to turn around and talk to someone who was competent. This woman sends me to service department. The service department has someone check to see if the key is there. They say it isn't. I left them my phone number and name, and told them to give me a call bright and early so that I can handle the situation if it isn't there. So now I have left the building. I immediately called the key hotline to double check on my order. All he could do was tell me my shipping number. So I write it down, and since my phone was about to die, I decided to go home and check there. FedEx shows that my key is there. After learning this information, I called the dealership back and asked to talk to a manager. She transfers me to the service manager on duty, because she told me that the parts manager wasn't there. The service manager tells me that they don't have a key to access the parts department. I said, "Well obviously you do, because one of your employees checked for me, and said it wasn't there. So either he is lying to you, or you are lying to me." He said, "We don't have a key. You got false information." So I basically said to him, "If your parts department guy decided to say F U BMW dealership, and tossed the key into the lake, you would be screwed without calling a locksmith?" He didn't answer me. So I told him, "I will pay for a locksmith to come and open the door so I can get my key. Will you let me do that?" "No sir," says the manager. "Okay then, go talk to the guy that told me he has the key and checked for me, and get the key from him so you can personally check yourself." He didn't answer me. There was an awkward silence. We argued about stuff for about 3 minutes. He then said, let me transfer you to the parts department manager, hang on. (They told me the parts department manager wasn't there) He first transferred me to the wrong number. So I then called him back, and he got me transferred to the correct number. (Note, I am calling from a different number every time to ensure he answers the phone for me.) I called the parts managers phone, and it rang twice and went to voicemail. He ignored my call. I know this, because it rang two times, and then went straight to voicemail. So, I called the service manager back, and told him what happened. He didn't have a very well put response, so I'm not even going to write what he said...as it made no sense. After all of this, I basically told him to get out of his chair and go speak with his employees in the service department, or I would never come to their dealership again after I get my key. So, after a long pause he finally said, "Alright, I will call you back in 5 minutes." I waited by the phone, and he called me back, and put me on speaker with the employees I spoke to while I was at the dealership. They refused to double check for me, and they said the key wasn't there. So if they call me again at 7 AM, like they are supposed to, and tell me my key is there, I'm going to rip someone a new asshole because that means that every single employee in that building, including the manager, lied to me the entire time. These are the people that represent Pacific BMW in Glendale, CA. I recommend that you try a different dealership, as you will be engulfed by a sea of lies and incompetent morons. read more

Whatever you do, don't go here for parts. It's in a gift shop, and the gentleman manning the desk knows probably the least amount of information about cars that I've ever witnessed.
