    Taking pizza home

Delicious!!! It was busy on a Sunday evening but we were sat quickly. My husband enjoys their house salad. And the pizza is so good! The crust is perfect and the flavor of the sauce is just right! I wasn't a fan of the Meatball Boat (chopped meatballs and bread covered and Baked in cheese) but that because I misunderstood what it was. The meatballs tasted delicious and I would try a meatball sub another time. The prices were very reasonable. The restaurant is quite small and cozy but there's a back patio also available.

We went on a warm evening, just looking for something to satiate our pizza craving. Pace's certainly didn't disappoint! We started with a caprese salad, followed by their margherita specialty pizza (I loved how many vegetarian options they had, by the way!) which was quickly gobbled up between the two of us. And of course, you have to try a cannoli if you're stopping here, so we did. Overall, a great place to go if you're looking to fulfill your pizza fix and your taste buds are craving more than just the run-of-the-mill franchise pizza places.

On our yearly road trip from Wisconsin to Maine we have chosen Jamestown New York as our night number one. We have fallen in love with this very quirky town. Kind folks, struggling folks all reside in this unique western New York town known for the birthplace of Lucille Ball. We were lucky enough to have restaurants years ago before pandemic, and now a pizzeria joint has survived and flourished in Jamestown. Pace's Pizza cares about family, beautiful food, affordable food, and kindness. What a wonderful spot to pull into at 8:15 PM on a weekday and join a joyful restaurant. We are welcome and we get a hug, sit on Luca's Patio out back joining other locals. This trip a young couple who teach in town and sell real estate. We order a gluten-free pizza, the meatball float, and a bottle of red wine. We leave after 9 PM with our to go food for our long drive through the entire state of New York (Jamestown to Albany) pushing east to emerge in New Hampshire where family resides. Pepperoni, cheese, green pepper and mushrooms in a 17-inch multiple slice of Italian heaven.

We split the large pepperoni, mushroom and green pepper pizza. The crust was thin. The sauce was pure Italian. The mozzarella cheese was the most flavorful of my life. We loved it. Add a nice salad, beer and great service by Maddy...five stars. But wait! A new back deck is so pure urban. (Inside is traditional pizza joint. Very clean too.). The deck is a classy warm weather place to chow downtown on pizza and sip wine, beer or non-alcoholic drinks. $40.66 before tip.

    Where's the cheese?

I am sooo disappointed. I've always wanted to try paces pizza. I've lived here forever and never have. Excited to tonight. How disappointing!!. Seriously. I ordered a large pizza with pepperoni and extra cheese. Extra toppings are about two dollars. As you can see this pizza doesn't even have cheese on some slices. $35!!! Never again. It's terrible the sauce tastes like Hunts sauce from the can. ‍ I'm not even finishing it.

Pace's pizzeria, well I just tried this place and I really don't think it's good. Their garlic bread is...ok, staff are nice, it's a little small for how many tables it has, very greasy, salads are very soggish with Italian dressing but tastes somewhat good...I guess, and the pizza is very greasy and oily and I don't think it really tastes that good. It's got nice music, dim light, their tables aren't very clean, they've got lots of crumbs on them but nice table cloths. The bathroom doors don't shut properly with bothered me a little. Super nice people, definitely. It was good, definitely not my right hand resteraunt, so yeah it was good.

Great pizza, great service. The menu is very basic. I am a big fan of thin crust. You will not be disappointed.

Drove by The Perfect Pizza many times in my lifetime but never stopped in until tonight!…read more Was pleasantly surprised by how good their pizza and wings were and will be defiantly be stopping in again! Our waitress was patient and pleasant and the owner was very friendly as well. Made sure we had everything we needed. Got a large pizza for our group with the works on it as well as a medium cheese and pepperoni. Also tried their lemon pepper wings and medium wings which were cooked crisp and delicious! The restaurant is fairly small but kept clean. There was a steady stream of customers picking up pizza as well as eating in. Give them try! A local establishment who has been in the area for 30+ years and hopefully many more years!

Late on posting this as it has been about a month since I was here, but better late than never!…read moreMy family and I were in Jamestown for a weekend and when it was time for dinner my 5-year old daughter wanted pizza. I always turn to Yelp when we're away from home and found The Perfect Pizza less than 2 miles away. My daughter loved it at first sight. A Michaelangelo (the world famous TMNT, not the world famous artist) figure as big as her greeted us and she was thrilled. As we sat down the waitress showed us where we could find coloring books and crayons for my daughter. It is a small place. Clean, casual, a bit eclectic in decoration, and feels very homey. Like your local pizza place you know and love. The waitress was very friendly, attentive, and helpful. We got a simple white pizza and a couple subs. My chicken tender sub was great; simple, crispy chicken, nothing fancy, but solid. I don't remember what sub my husband got, but I remember he got a large and liked it, but couldn't finish it. The pizza was a hit with my daughter. It felt a bit greasy, but I think only because it looked like there was a little oil on the pan to keep the pizza from sticking. It seems like a popular place as there was a steady stream of to-go orders picked up. I would definitely go back if we're in the area again.

We tried it because none of us had ever tried it and it was right across from the bowling alley we spent a few hours at. I ordered a Buffalo chicken tender sub with extra ranch, provelone cheese, Buffalo sauce, no onion, no tomatoes. I got no Buffalo sauce at all. Extremely light ranch. Extremely overcooked hard dry gross chicken. Tomatoes. Over toasted dry bun. I got up and asked for a cup of Buffalo sauce and a cup of ranch. I was given ranch and just a cup of hot sauce not Buffalo. I just took it because obviously I was somehow asking way too much of the place. Nothing saved it. I threw more than half of the sub away it way dry hard and gross. The Hawaiian was okay not good not bad. It needed more cheese for sure. We'd get it again in a pinch, but wouldn't go out of our way. Torn older plastic table clothes. Carvings in the wooden walls. Talking to a few locals at the gas station kitty corner to the pizza shop about it being a lack luster experience they agreed that the chicken finger sub sucks. They said they only get wings there 90% of the time rarely ever pizza. All three locals in the gas station said the honey mustard wings and medium wings are their best things on the menu. We might try them again to see if the wings are okay. All 3 of us were very unimpressed.
