Pablo's 630 E 6th Ave Denver Colorado 80203.. (Bad Coffee, Tea, all served by often RUDE Baristas
We first discovered Pablo's by going on a walk, and found this to be very close to our apartement. So we tried the coffee, and the teas, off and on for a few years. and even used to buy our coffee beans here a few times. but I am not sure why we ever went here as long as we did.Other then we often ment up with a friend who also lived close,so it was more of a convenience thing for us to go here.
Pablo's brews there coffee way to strong, and it is very Acid. They also roast there own beans, which I must say taste over-roasted=burned. I guess we just kinda of lost our taste for good coffee going here as long as we did. we finally discovered this on a day that we ran out of beans from Pablo's and were at Albertson's buying groceries, and picked up some coffee beans at the store. I am not saying store beans are great, but at least the coffee did not leave you with that acid upset stomic. the coffee even tasted better then Pablo's not to mention not costing $12, or $16 per pound. The ice coffee at Pablo's,is the worest after trying it once, and what a bad decision that was. I got upset/sick to my stomic, and ended up almost tossing my groceries. The ice coffee i am sure is just left over coffee that is unsold from that day carried into the next day, and so on. I should have know better, as when the barista got my ice coffee from the container it looked very sluggy, and did not taste right.Needless to say I did not finish it, but what i did consume was enough to make me sick.( They also leave the creams for the coffee out all day long in the heat to sour, no ice, or anything to keep them fresh)
We also have tried the pastries at Pablo's and found most of them very dry.
Pabalo's has several different teas thay carry, but mainly brew up a blend for there daily tea slection called Monks blend tea. they make this a daily brew habit 9, out of 10 times that will be the tea of the day.the Monks blend tea, is awfull!!!, and several other people we know that go here think the same of it. it must be a CHEAPER tea since thay serve it 99% of the time.
The other problems with this place is the Owners/Manager have very low, or no high standards ,or expectations. of these baristas that he employs. He lets these often RUDE hipsters run the show. A few of them have VERY POOR PERSONAL HYGIENE, STRONG body odor that we have noticed on more then one occassion.( I don't know about you but someone serving food, or drinks should be CLEAN, and ODOR FREE).
Sitting inside PABALO'S, you can't, because the owner lets the baristas run AMUCK, they play very loud OBNOXIOUS music, so you can not carry on a conversation inside, let alone think. Sitting outside is not as bad, ( you do have to deal with the noise of traffic going by. additionally, the outdoor patio is littered with cigarette butts, and trash, and the tables often have smoked butts stuck in the tables, that are never whiped down, or cleaned.
Pabalo's also has limited parking, and NO WI-FI.
You might like Pablo's if your a liberal "Democrap" like strong acid coffee, bad loud music, baristas with an attitude. read more
