P.F. Changs is a chain Asian restaurant, and this location is in Tyson's Galleria. There's plenty of free parking in the lot in front of the restaurant, but it can get crowded from mall parking. You can make a reservation online (which is recommended, especially during busy times). The ambiance is casual classy, good for catching up with a friend, eating with a family, or date night. We were seated towards the back in a booth and there were a lot of bugs flying around. Our server was really nice, but you could tell they were going through it since everything was taking really long from the kitchen and bar. Our appetizers came before drinks but we didn't mind. The chicken lettuce wraps were flavorful, as usual, but the crispy green beans are a skip. I used to love these as a kid, but they've gotten bitter, but also flavorless at the same time? Also, there's not enough sauce compared to the amount of green beans. Additionally, the tempura sushi was delicious, but once again, could've used more sauce. The spicy Chang's chicken was a little too sweet for me and just tasted like orange chicken. It did come with a good portion of rice though, so I appreciated that. The sakura spritz was beautiful, but was very sour and didn't have that much alcohol. Overall, everything was pretty expensive, but I guess reasonable for the area and portions. Warning: the best thing we received from this restaurant was the fortune cookies. The restaurant itself was nicely presented and had a pleasant atmosphere. Unfortunately, the service and food did not meet expectations. Our server appeared distracted and distant throughout the meal. Although she had several tables nearby, she rarely checked on us unless we specifically requested assistance. The food was presented nicely, but the overall quality was disappointing. Several dishes were advertised as spicy, yet lacked any noticeable spice or flavor. The protein in the Singapore noodles was significantly overcooked, with an unpleasant texture, while the noodles themselves were extremely dry. We had to request additional sauce multiple times to make the dish feel edible. Our server also appeared unfamiliar with the menu, which resulted in us having to replace multiple items. The most disappointing dish was the pepper steak, which contained an overly excessive amount of sauce but very little flavor. Listen, listen. It behooves me to say this. But as someone who was traumatized by P.F. Chang's overly sweet offerings, this time around, it was quite alright... For a saturday night, we were seated very quickly, and for a mall space, this P.F. Chang's is quite large. Funky art deco, a kitchen you can look into, and extremely friendly service. I ended up getting the black pepper chicken, my family got chicken and broccoli and sesame chicken and, shockingly, everyone was pretty pleased. The black pepper chicken had a wonderful crisp and black pepper crust throughout. The celery and onions provided a nice crunch. I did end up cleaning my plate, leaving no room for dessert :( But overall, it was a good experience. Will I be back? Probably not. But hey, at least I can say this P.F. Wednesday 3/12/25 I've had PF Chang's: once in 2024 and once in 2025, and both of those times have come from me redeeming my birthday freebie which is a free birthday appetizer or dessert. In 2024, I got the BBQ pork spare ribs appetizer, and today I got the northern style pork spare ribs appetizer, both completely free. - The BBQ pork spare ribs were good and easily my favorite. The BBQ sauce is flavorful and pairs very well with the ribs. - The northern style spare ribs are ribs without sauce and would therefore be labeled as "dry rub" ribs. These ribs were a miss: there's no flavor and no real seasoning for it to be labeled as "dry rub". Overall, I always appreciate the annual PF Chang's birthday freebie. I've had many Singapore Street noodles at other PF Chang locations. This was the worst. The beef was cooked in old oil. There was solid oil on it. It did not have the curry sauce. Very dry. Green onions and vegetables saggy. It is true that it was a Sunday night, but I still have the same expectation because I paid the same money. I had to drive back after I picked up my order. I had a vege spring roll, had horseradish in it (confirmed by server), crispy green beans - the batter was different, not light and fluffy and didn't stick to beans, beef and broccoli so so. Beef ok but the sauce was not good. Not as tasty as before. My friend told me she had the same experience at the restaurant at Stoney Pointe mall near Richmond. So sorry to see this. Great food and great service. We just came in for a snack and ordered chicken lettuce wraps, dynamite shrimp and a half order of the bbq ribs. We also ordered the Asian pear mojito and whiskey on the rocks. We sat at the bar and the server was very attentive. I recommend putting the crispy green bean sauce on the lettuce wraps. We love P.F. Chang's but were disappointed when we visited two weeks ago. Came for dinner, and were excited to try some items from the new Golden Feast. We asked what parts of the chicken we would get with the Korean fried chicken, to which the waitress replied, I don't know it's whatever pieces the chef puts out at the beginning of the day. Say what?? Then we asked about the Taiwanese popcorn chicken, when she volunteered that was made with white meat. I had to correct her because the menu clearly states it's made with thighs. We ended up going with the popcorn chicken anyway and it was good but only about half of the tin can it came in was filled with chicken (see pic) the rest was those styrofoam looking noodles, so it's kind of ridiculous to charge almost $19 for something so small. Besides this we had the pork dumplings, Chicken Pad Thai, Beef and Broccoli and kid's Honey Chicken. The food was very good. Our main issue was really the waitress, she kept giving us the wrong info, she did not refill our glasses, she forgot the rice, then I mentioned my Chang's Bucks, and of course she can't process it, mind you that was the reason we even went. She anticipated what we needed before we even asked and made the whole meal feel special. Even shared suggestions for favorite spots to visit in the area. P.F. Chang's is lucky to have her! Manager Shane also stopped by to check on us and was also friendly and helpful - which is great since service had already set high expectation. Food - delicious. We like PF Chang's, although our local one usually misses the mark on the food (yet we keep going back even though it's mediocre at best). This food was EXCELLENT. Perfectly cooked, full of flavor, and easily the best experience we've had at any PFC location. Also interesting to see that they had some specials on the menu that we don't have nearby yet (butter cake? miso fish? butternut squash dumplings??!). Egg drop isn't as viscous as traditional egg drop soup. The lo mein is also on the oily side but still pretty delicious. Pork egg rolls came out steaming hot in a bed of rice crisps--very good filling with a savory sauce. The house salad was refreshing with a sweet savory dressing. The crispy honey shrimp had too much batter which gets you full fast. The fried rice is a skip as it was just soy sauce flavored rice with a single sprout. I haven't been to PF Chang's in so long and we decided to try it because we heard there were lunch specials. To my surprise, they had such a great selection for lunch! So many dishes, I believe over 10 different choices on the lunch menu. I ended up ordering the orange chicken with white rice. The chicken had a little spice to it, but it was flavorful spice. I definitely thought it was a great portion for lunch too. My only complaint was that it took quite awhile to get our orders and it wasn't terribly busy inside, so it made us late to our afternoon meetings. It's been a hot minute since we were inside a PF Chang's but we were already around Tysons for a movie and we wanted something a bit more upscale for dinner so we came in for the Chef's feast which is $20.99 each. The menu is much more limited FYI so no dynamite shrimp on that one, and the price increases $5-8 if it's "premium" or "deluxe." We went with the hot and sour soup which came out very hot, but flavor wise it's decent, not super spicy or anything. It was somewhat salty for me though. For appetizers we wanted to get the veggie spring rolls but our server said they were sold out so we went with crispy green beans. They had an interesting texture as they were fried/breaded. I wish we knew they were going to be fried, might have preferred to get the edamame instead. But they were crunchy and didn't get soft or soggy, and the spicy savory mayo type sauce it came with was a good pairing. It was also a ton of food for an appetizer fyi so come hungry if end up doing the chef's feast. Entrees we got the chicken lo mein, can't go wrong with that, it's been a solid safe choice for me. Very good but oily. And the beef with broccoli was the other entree which was tender and slightly sweet and smoky. I also got the peanut butter cream pie for a tiny little dessert which hit the spot. Very creamy with chocolate on top and a side of caramel. Also extremely sweet so that would go well with coffee to tone down the sweetness. The Korean noodles and Crispy Green Beans (5/5) - The crispy appetizer was perfect for sharing! Korean Glass Noodles with tofu (5/5) - Really hit the spot and my favorite noodle dish! The springy jap chae sweet potato noodles are chewy and the crispy tofu is bursting with flavor with a heap of stir-fried veggies! Couldn't cook these textured noodles to save my life, they were amazing! Everything paired really well. Veggie Lo Mien (5/5) - The sweet savory lo mein with a heap of veggies - mushrooms, carrots, broccoli, onion, celery, green beans, snow peas and curly spaghetti like noodles hit the spot! I'm not a big lo mein fan, but I can see why it's PF Changs signature dish! This was the first time I ate at the P.F. Chang's in Tysons corner. I have to say our server Lees was amazing. We sat at a high top table at the bar and we love the Thai lettuce wraps so both my friend and I ordered them separately so we didn't have to share. the lettuce wraps had a wonderful flavor with the chicken and the diced water, chestnuts and mushrooms. The Romain lettuce was fun to put the fillingin and eat it. We especially liked the dry noodles for crunch. It is a nice size portion and my girlfriend had a soda. I was drinking water and I have to give a thank you to Kassandra, Manager, who was so nice to check on us and bring ice water as it was so hot today. I used to have my bday parties here in high school and came here after graduation in high school! they changed the decor quite a bit, it used to be darker in there and they had this statue that was pretty cool that they removed. I gave this place 1 star because the service was absolutely horrible. The waiter knew she would be getting the 20% tip bc our party was over 9-10 people so did not even try to give us good service. . She never even filled our drinks. She did not even come around and clean up the dishes until we asked. when the dessert came she did not even give us any dishes for us to split the cake. In addition, she did not even come around to ask us what we wanted for the main dish or the dessert we had to stop and ask another waiter to ask her to come back to put our order in. A handful of parties file in after us and then the shit show begins where they then decide to start a wait list despite there being plenty of empty tables. Sure, they might be reserved but then the half hour rolls on by and they start seating some of the people who came in behind us. We ask how long the wait is and they're like half an hour. But we came in before these other parties? Oh, we didn't add you to the wait-list. Whaaat? So can you give us our spot in line with one of these many empty tables? Visited PF Changs at Galleria Mall and was fortunate to speak to Jeff the Manager about a 70th Birthday we were planning to celebrate . He arranged a very nice table with Birthday utensils and a card and had a great server Chan take care of us for the evening. For appetizers we enjoyed chicken lettuce wraps, vegetarian wraps, veg spring rolls, kung pao brussels with chardonnay and pinot noir wine. Entrees kung pao chicken, eggplant, prawns, buddha Feast stir fried all excellent and for desert the Great Wall Chocolate (always a favorite) and complementary banana spring rolls with a nice happy birthday candle. I am chinese american, 30, and this is my first time ever at a PF chang's. I avoid inauthentic Chinese restaurants generally but my friends insisted on this place. Considering my expectations were on the floor, the food was decently good and the service was decent as well. Dont expect authentic asian food and then its fine. We shared calamari and ribs as an appetizer. Tasted good, didnt taste chinese or asian in general but was good. I ordered the sea bass over spinach. Again, didnt taste chinese or anything but tasted good. My friends got sushi, which didnt look Japanese or even Japanese american at all but tasted good. Friend got pad thai which is definitely a skip here, didnt have the distinct pad thai flavor. Over a solid 3 out of 5 stars. What is really nice is them posting the calorie count, I loved that. Very disorganized and unenthusiastic team. They were unable to place the order when we called ahead and asked them to fire it. Didn't record any of the items correctly. In comparison to other locations, their food was unfortunate. I'm a big PF Changs fan, but they can be hit or miss. This is a miss. read more
