PF Chang is a chain that serves good Chinese food IMHO. Purists may think it's not authentic but I'm Asian and like their food. Lol. We've always enjoyed the food and service at all their locations i especially like our server at this location as he was very helpful. PF Chang has a good selection of cocktails and cocktails. Suggest using their rewards program if you come here often.

I got the Mongolian trio. It was pretty good. A little too pricey in my opinion for the portion size however. It was $28. It was tasty nonetheless. I ordered it to go. My server got it for me promptly. He was very professional and respectful. Ambiance was great. No complaints other than the price for the amount of food you get.

Warning: the best thing we received from this restaurant was the fortune cookies. The restaurant itself was nicely presented and had a pleasant atmosphere. Unfortunately, the service and food did not meet expectations. Our server appeared distracted and distant throughout the meal. Although she had several tables nearby, she rarely checked on us unless we specifically requested assistance. The food was presented nicely, but the overall quality was disappointing. Several dishes were advertised as spicy, yet lacked any noticeable spice or flavor. The protein in the Singapore noodles was significantly overcooked, with an unpleasant texture, while the noodles themselves were extremely dry. We had to request additional sauce multiple times to make the dish feel edible. Our server also appeared unfamiliar with the menu, which resulted in us having to replace multiple items. The most disappointing dish was the pepper steak, which contained an overly excessive amount of sauce but very little flavor. Overall, this was a disappointing experience, especially considering the reputation of P.F. Chang's. If you are planning to visit P.F. Chang's, I would recommend choosing a different location. Hopefully, the experience improves under new management!

Date NIGHT! If we are going to catch a movie at Tysons, we are also going to eat at one of the restaurants here before hand! P.F. Chang's is solid! It always has been! Service lacks if they only have one bartender BUT drinks and food are always good! Ambiance is casual, Asian flare decor! Let's get into it! Chicken Lettuce wraps - LOVE this dish! Although it's considered an appetizer I can eat it as a meal. Asian Ribs - Great! Dynamite Shrimp - Delicious! Fried Rice - You can never go wrong! Sweet and Sour Chicken - Delicious! P.F. Chang's Fan!

PF Chang's is like when I hear a Teena Marie song.. It's an oldie but a goodie! Sometimes to get what I want I have to make the hike to the Gallaria, and low and behold, that Oldie but Goodie is sitting right in front next to Saks. When I drop in, I always sit at the bar and order one of their specialty drinks and a few appetizers or maybe some sushi. Service is always on point, with a manager consistently stopping by to say hello! In conclusion, before Mr. Chow, Phillipe Chow and even Nobu, there was PF Chang's in front of all the high end malls in every major city... It's still good just like when I hear "Fire and Desire, or Deja Vu", and the price point in just a fraction of the cost of those other trendy restaurants.. and quite honestly, taste just as good!!!

We got the lunch special today. Teriyaki chicken w lo mein and firecracker shrimp lo mein. As appetizer we got the veggie spring rolls. The food is not as tasty as in other Asian chain fast food places Like Panda Express or Sakura Japan. The quality is not matching the prices. That's my thought. Service was nice. He was attentive. Around like 2 pm. It was not crowded. Ambiance is nice and big. Galleria is super fancy place to look around.

Wednesday 3/12/25 I've had PF Chang's: once in 2024 and once in 2025, and both of those times have come from me redeeming my birthday freebie which is a free birthday appetizer or dessert. In 2024, I got the BBQ pork spare ribs appetizer, and today I got the northern style pork spare ribs appetizer, both completely free. - The BBQ pork spare ribs were good and easily my favorite. The BBQ sauce is flavorful and pairs very well with the ribs. - The northern style spare ribs are ribs without sauce and would therefore be labeled as "dry rub" ribs. These ribs were a miss: there's no flavor and no real seasoning for it to be labeled as "dry rub". Overall, I always appreciate the annual PF Chang's birthday freebie. The sauced ribs were quite good, and I look forward to making another visit in 2026 to get my birthday freebie.

We love P.F. Chang's but were disappointed when we visited two weeks ago. Came for dinner, and were excited to try some items from the new Golden Feast. We asked what parts of the chicken we would get with the Korean fried chicken, to which the waitress replied, I don't know it's whatever pieces the chef puts out at the beginning of the day. Say what?? Then we asked about the Taiwanese popcorn chicken, when she volunteered that was made with white meat. I had to correct her because the menu clearly states it's made with thighs. We ended up going with the popcorn chicken anyway and it was good but only about half of the tin can it came in was filled with chicken (see pic) the rest was those styrofoam looking noodles, so it's kind of ridiculous to charge almost $19 for something so small. Besides this we had the pork dumplings, Chicken Pad Thai, Beef and Broccoli and kid's Honey Chicken. The food was very good. Our main issue was really the waitress, she kept giving us the wrong info, she did not refill our glasses, she forgot the rice, then I mentioned my Chang's Bucks, and of course she can't process it, mind you that was the reason we even went. I had to ask for a manager because the back and forth was annoying and a waste of our time.

Came in on a Sunday night for a good and inexpensive cheat day. Got the Chefs feast at $20.99 per person. You have to explicitly ask for the menu though from the server. Egg drop isn't as viscous as traditional egg drop soup. The lo mein is also on the oily side but still pretty delicious. Pork egg rolls came out steaming hot in a bed of rice crisps--very good filling with a savory sauce. The house salad was refreshing with a sweet savory dressing. The crispy honey shrimp had too much batter which gets you full fast. The fried rice is a skip as it was just soy sauce flavored rice with a single sprout. We had a really good and cordial waiter who made sure we were good with our food and were hydrated :) However, we noticed a different waiter from us who was frustrated as the table of 5 he served near us tipped poorly.

A Perfect Night Out at PF Chang's - Like Mama Used to Cook, Only Better! If you're looking for the kind of dining experience that blends great food, incredible service, and the feeling that you're part of the family, look no further than PF Chang's. I've dined at many locations, but this visit was something truly special--and it all started at the bar with Jimmy. Jimmy the Bartender - The Soul of the Bar From the moment I sat down, Jimmy made me feel like a VIP. He's not just pouring drinks--he's curating an experience. Charismatic, attentive, and lightning-fast, he has a knack for remembering names, preferences, and even your favorite drink down to the twist of lime. His craft cocktails are flawless, and his conversation makes waiting for a table feel like the highlight of your night. Whether you're flying solo or with friends, make the bar your first stop and let Jimmy set the tone for the evening. Manager Jeff - The Maestro Behind the Scenes Now let's talk about Jeff, the manager who makes this PF Chang's run like a five-star kitchen in a luxury hotel. You can tell he leads with heart. Jeff doesn't just check in on tables--he connects. He makes the rounds like a host welcoming you into his own home, making sure every detail is right and every guest is happy. He listens, responds, and truly cares. When you see leadership like Jeff's, you know why the team runs so smoothly. The Food - Just Like Mama Cooked, If Mama Had a Culinary Degree Now onto the real star--the food. PF Chang's has always been a solid choice for elevated Asian cuisine, but this visit reminded me why it's a standout. Every dish came out exactly how we ordered--customizations, spice levels, allergies, everything taken seriously and served with precision. The Mongolian Beef was seared to perfection, tender and flavorful with that irresistible caramelized sauce. The Chicken Lettuce Wraps? Crisp, savory, and better than I remembered. Even the side of fried rice was cooked just the way I like it--fluffy, with the right balance of soy and sesame, like my mom used to make on special occasions. You can taste the love in the kitchen. The chefs here aren't just following recipes--they're putting their hearts into every plate. You leave feeling full, happy, and satisfied like you just had a home-cooked meal (if your home kitchen had a team of culinary pros, of course). Final Thoughts PF Chang's is more than a chain--it's a destination. And when you've got a bartender like Jimmy, a manager like Jeff, and a kitchen that delivers food straight to your soul, you've got a winning formula. 5 stars - Highly recommend. Whether it's date night, a family dinner, or just a craving for good vibes and even better food, go see Jimmy and Jeff. You'll walk in as a guest--and leave as family.

Steak.

Went their for Mother's Day. Disappointed by the service. Had a reservation but still waited so long to be seated. They wanted to seat outside the restraunt even though there was room inside. Their steak option for the special menu charged an extra $15 but the quality and quantity was way low. Waiter kept coming over saying the kitchen is running behind so the food will take a very long time. Overall didn't enjoy the experience staff looked very confused and frustrated with working as well.

I jumped straight to this stir fried lamb that I saw in the authentic side of menu. It was amazing! So much flavor in the lamb, app the veggies were so crisp and clean. The ambiance of the place is higher than a mom and pops but less than a chain. They didn't overdo it on the interior but that's fine. The food matters the most. The La zi Ji was nice and crisp with a bit of ma la. Nothing overpowering and really good fried chicken thighs. The Japanese egg tofu was nice and savory. They added pork for flavoring. I would say it's probably the second best Japanese egg tofu dish I tried in the area. The eggplant was cooked all the way through and was soft and flavorful. The price for the dishes were only about a dollar more expensive than what I would find in Rockville/Gaithersburg, but still reasonable. I would come back to try it out again. Plenty of parking on the square.

The fried rice came out hot and fresh. The chilled garlic cucumbers in a plastic reuseable take away box. First the garlic cucumbers. It's basically sliced cucumbers with garlic, sesame seed oil, pinch of salt and cilantro. Not a whole lot of flavor but it is cold and refreshing. Missing sour, sweet, spicy and salty. I asked for chili oil. It helped a bit but not much. 6/10 The chicken fried rice looked good. Some veggies like diced carrots, shitake mushrooms, shallots, bean sprout and slices of dry chicken breast. Again, nothing special. No wok hei and not a lot of seasoning of flavor. Although its better than a fried rice that is too salty. The seating area was spacious but not huge. It was clean though. Overall, it was kinda pricey. $15 for fried rice and $10 for cucumbers. This isn't a mom and pop shop so I expected more from a chain. Maybe chef had bad day but if this is the norm, there are better places to eat. Maybe should have gotten the dumplings? Saw the prices and cringed. Overall 3.5/5, not 3.

First order: chicken lo mein, general tso's, and the hot chili pork wontons. The lo mein was delicious... chicken super tender, perfectly done. But the wontons were the real standout for me. I hadn't tried that style before and wow, so flavorful and tender! The general tso's was the one miss for me, not bad but not my favorite rendition of the dish, and the white rice was just okay. Did any of that stop me from ordering again days later? Absolutely not! Second order: we swapped in the mongolian chicken and the hot chili pork dumplings and this was the upgrade we needed. The mongolian chicken was SO good... again incredibly tender, tons of onions, deeply flavorful. And the dumplings? Perfection. The filling is more evenly dispersed throughout than the wontons, making every bite perfectly balanced with the pork and chili oil. Even the rice was better this time around, not sure what changed but I'm not asking questions! We've been dreaming about this meal ever since and genuinely cannot wait to order again. I always appreciate good food that is easily accessible without struggling to find parking while out and about with two young kids. We ordered various items from the menu: - Chicken Leg Noodle Soup - My kids loved this. The soup is flavorful and portions are large so perfect to split among two kids. - Pork Soup Dumplings - Solid option, soup broth inside the dumplings was delicious. - Scallion Pancakes - Deliciously fried to perfection. Han Palace has one of the largest all-day dim sum menus in Northern Virginia, so it has been my go-to dim sum restaurant for about six years. Unfortunately, today's experience ended that relationship. When me and my family arrived in the evening and were seated immediately. Within a minute, our server asked if we were ready to order. When I said we needed a little more time, she visibly appeared annoyed. After quickly deciding as a family, I placed our order. Because I studied Chinese as a second language, I sometimes order dishes in Chinese. In my experience, servers either appreciate the effort or simply take the order without issue. This time was very different. The server seemed irritated that I was ordering in Chinese. I switched to ordering by the menu item numbers while pointing directly at the dishes because I thought there might be a misunderstanding. Surprisingly, she insisted that I order using the dish names instead. Had the experience ended there, I would have chalked it up to an awkward miscommunication. Unfortunately, it got worse. Less than 30 seconds after taking our order, two dishes arrived. The speed made me wonder whether the food had already been sitting out. The steamed pork buns were so dry that one had cracked open, and the shrimp dumplings were mushy and stuck firmly to the paper liner. I was later surprised to see another reviewer describe a similar experience several months ago. After dropping off the food, the server walked over to a colleague and began speaking in Chinese. They repeatedly looked directly at me while discussing my attempt to order in Chinese. Since I understand the language, it was clear that she was complaining about me. This happened several times while the restaurant was relatively empty. Each time, she returned to the same spot to continue the conversation, with her colleague looking directly at me. After the third time, I asked for the check because I wanted to leave. Paying premium prices for disappointing food is one thing; having the staff openly criticize you while you're dining is another. As we were leaving, I heard the server mutter, "What's his problem?" I will not be returning. I understand that everyone has a bad day, but the combination of poor food quality and unprofessional service made this one of the worst restaurant experiences I've had in years. I hope this review helps others make an informed decision before dining here.
