PF Changs Durham location has the best service and best food. I love to visit this location often . Everyone at this location that has served me with great Customer Service skills. The servers bring out food and drinks on time and answer any questions you may have. Location is nicely decorated and has plenty of parking at this location. Out of both PF changs in RTP area the Durham one is my favorite.

My wife loves it here because you absolutely crush the gluten free options. If anyone wants gluten free Asian food, this is the spot. The staff is super friendly and the restaurant is massive, really nice inside. The only thing I wish is that the portions were a little bigger. I usually have to order double meat to feel full, but it's the perfect amount for my wife. They didn't sing happy birthday, but they did bring out a big sparkler for us which was pretty cool. I tried the peppered chicken for the first time and now that's definitely my go-to order.

We had a great server who was knowledable about drinks!! I had a cherry blossom martini which I enjoyed. We were seated quickly as it was not too busy. We ordered lettuce wraps, dynamite shrimp and crispy honey chicken. Everything was tasty.

Terrible.....terrible!!! Food was cold and tasted like it was leftovers. Service was mediocre. I keep trying to give this place a try and each time it's a disappointment! My advice, do not go there!

I had dinner on a weeknight and there was no wait. I ordered BBQ Pork Spare Ribs which arrived quickly after ordering and were delicious. Very quickly after ordering the ribs my main course arrived. The steak Lo Mein was very yummy and flavorful. The server was very nice and attentive. I would eat here again.

Food was horrible. I don't know what has changed over the years but the food here has really gone downhill. The service works great. Christina my waitress was very good. I just won't come back because of the food.

4/20 visit: My son wanted to eat her for his bday dinner and we obliged. It's your average chain restaurant. Nothing special or different than the other location. Our server was awesome and help make my son's bday an awesome and memorable one. It's your same atmosphere as the other restaurants. Seems spacious. We didn't have a long wait at all and parking is plenty.

Remember the debacle I had at the P.F Chang by the Crabtree Mall. If you haven't read that mishap, go read that first before this. It'll provide context for what I'm about to say. First, I didn't want to come at all. My wife convinced me since it would be a waste of a perfectly good gift card. So I acquiesced. We decided to take a nice joyride to Durham but made sure we had in hand a reservation. Fortunately because we scheduled a Sunday dinner reservation the restaurant wasn't so full that they didn't have us wait for a longer time, unlike at the Crabtree Mall branch. We were seated promptly and the server got our order quickly. We ordered the wonton soup ( a solid B), and for the main entrees we ordered basic fried rice, salt and pepper prawns and Mongolian Beef, The salt and pepper prawns were lightly spiced and flavored. The meat was still tender and succulent. The flavor was okay, not spectacular so I give it a solid B as well. The the Mongolian Beef dish was a revelation! Meat was well seasoned, very tender and the taste was amazing. The sauce was so well made we wanted to lick the remnants off the plate. That just earned an A+ in my books. The ambiance felt a little weird. Lots of Chinese statues but what threw me off was a large poster of a Chinese woman wearing a cheongsam and wielding a Japanese Katana. Okay, mixing "Asian" objects even though those two cultures couldn't be more different. So I'm not sure if I'm okay about that. Feels a little insensitive and tone deaf. I'm docking a star from what was supposed to be a four star review. I swear this joint can't seem to catch a break. It's like the place is clueless on how to be consistent. P.S when ordering the salt and pepper prawns do not dip the prawns in the sauce that came with it. The dip is inedible - it tastes like liquefied bitter melon mixed with really sour lemon juice.

The menu is varied and the food is consistently good. To be an Asian restaurant, you'll find many selections that you won't find elsewhere.

Do not get the Korean fried chicken, stick to the rivers and the lakes that you are use to because they did not!

I think it is a shared lot because the restaurant was pretty empty during my visit today. i have visited twice now (jan 2026 & may 2026) and i order a decent amount of food for the table to share. Both times, every plate has been room temperature. Thats super disappointing especially since the Korean dishes we ordered are typically served very hot (and in clay pots). It would be fine if my food was even remotely warm, but that hasnt been the case for either of my visits. Our food took a very long time to come out, which would have also been fine had the food came out hot, so i am wondering why it took so long to send out cold food? Also, for some reason there was a strong odor of some sort permeating through the beer hall. I couldnt place what it was but it was not pleasant for me. I feel like i am rarely sensitive to smells but i had to spritz a perfume to mask it. It might've just been a cleaning product or something, not sure. Something to note is that you have to pay for the banchan here. This is typically served with your meals for no additional cost as they are considered 'essential' to your meal. So a charge for them was surprising for me.
