    Shrimp lo mein

Service was fast and easy. Free extra chili oil. I ordered fried scallops, large egg drop soup and shrimp lo mein.

    Mongolian beef

Skip this place! They tried it! I got Mongolian beef it was like onions with a side of beef barely any green onions and no salt or flavor what so ever! That rice it's like did they even try to fry it for real? First and last time!

Pu Pu Platter - ordered via delivery service. Disappointing. Everything fried to a crisp. Couldn't tell the beef from the chicken. No flavor except from the oil it was fried in.

I ordered the sweet and sour chicken and crab ran goon. The crab ran goon didn't have much filling so I wasn't a huge fun and the sweet and sour chicken was okay. I could get over the fact that this was all $19! Im still on the lookout for a good Chinese restaurant here..

Food quality was horrible food tasted old. Very bad customer service. Started trying to be standoff ish with me and a coworker because they can't understand English. A waste of money. Lost my appetite after leaving the restaurant. Will not recommend anyone.

This used to be my favorite Chinese spot in the area but their unclean handling of food and gaslighting as if I don't know what a bug looks like in my food. There was a bug found in my egg roll and when I called to notify the restaurant, the manager asked if I was sure it was big as if I don't know a bug looks like. I have no reason to lie about something being in my food and it was very much a bug (you can look in the photo provided). They then tried to say that their egg rolls are hand made as if that makes a difference. If a place is dirty, it can still end up in the food especially if it's handled poorly. They asked if I wanted to come back for a free one abut I refused. I will no longer be a customer of this nasty place. I have also reported them to the Health Department.

The service was fast and friendly, and the prices for the combination meals can't be beat. The food itself was pretty bland but not bad.

The lunch special pricing is definitely the main draw, and it's hard to beat for the amount of food you get. That said, the execution is a bit mixed. The General Tso's chicken was very bready, with not as much actual chicken as I would've liked, which took away from the overall experience. Another downside is that they've removed the free soup that used to come with the lunch special. It's a small thing, but it did add value before and is missed. One more thing for me is that they have no ice, so you are having luke warm water or drinks. Overall, it's not bad for a quick, affordable meal, but there are enough small drawbacks that it lands more in the average category. Decent value, just not something that stands out.

Simply put, everything we ordered was a home run. The soup - Wonton - was splendid. The broth had far more kick, far more substance, far more taste than the stuff we've managed to get at other local restaurants - and more clearly matched what I've eaten in Chinese restaurants throughout Southeast Asia . . . and, of course, in my few trips to Beijing. The egg rolls immediately made me think of this little hole-in-the-wall take-out Chinese joint in Brooklyn that I recall . . . from fifty years ago. The place was situated on the corner of Bay Parkway and 86th street, right at the point where the elevated track for the B train was located - and immediately became my father's first stop as he descended the station's stairs at the end of his workday, leading right to the front door of that cookery. He always ordered an egg roll or two, ate one standing in the entryway to the cook shop, and brought several home. Those Szechuan Garden egg rolls immediately, for me, resonated with the vigorous, deep taste of those Brooklyn delectables. We had a simple fish dinner with white rice, and an eggplant cooked deeply and wrapped in a thin dough covering - never had eggplant that way before and it was, again, a home run. The fish was so very simple, so very tasty - unforgettable. Thankfully, we have enough leftovers to make for another great meal today. We now have a new favorite restaurant near our home in Durham.

We were ravenous, but had an intense Chinese food craving, so we ordered Chengdu 7 food from Uber Eats. Food did not disappoint! We ordered sesame chicken, chef special fried rice, chicken fried rice, Mongolian beef*, shrimp fried rice, and everything was delicious! Fan favorites were the Mongolian beef and chicken fried rice, but honestly EVERYTHING was good. We enjoyed so many different dishes - hot and sour soup, scallion pancakes, egg rolls, hand pulled noodles with beef, kung Pao chicken, cumin beef, beef with vegetables, crag rangoon, and pork dumplings. Every dish was wonderful. And for anyone who has not tried the hand pulled noodles here you really must try them - they are a highlight of a meal - incredibly delicious with a wonderful texture. The flow of food to our table was great, not too fast or rushed and not too slow. Our waitress was wonderful and ensured that our group had everything that we needed to enjoy our meal. Will I be back again - Absolutely!! Everyone in our group agrees that this is the best Chinese food anywhere! I will caution some seeing this review that unlike many other Asian restaurants, if you order a Hot and spicy dish here it will indeed be very hot. I consider that to be good because I enjoy hot spicy food, but for those who cannot handle hot food stick with the milder dishes.

My girl got the noodle dish with the beef tripe, and we also ordered beef tripe for appetizer and milky rice cake for dessert. The fried dumplings were crispy, not at all greasy, and filled with very flavorful filling, coupled with a perfectly paired dipping sauce. The hotpot... oh, the hotpot, was filled with pillowy fried tofu, fatty and tender beef, cabbage, wood ear mushroom shreds, seaweed, bean sprouts, and a ton of noodles. All of this was swimming in some of the most amazing Szechuan peppercorn broth that was spicy, but not numbing and not overpowering. It was the perfect broth to wrap each ingredient in flavor. It's the only legit dim sum place near Chapel Hill/Carrboro, about a 25-minute drive for us--and we gladly make the trip almost every week. We simply can't get enough of their food! Warning: Everything on their menu is dangerously addictive. You've been warned! Our Favorites 2. Pork Dumpling (Siu Mai / Siomai) -- Steamed pork in a wonton wrapper, perfectly juicy with just the right balance of pork and vegetables in every bite. A delicious classic done right. 6. Beef Onion Dumpling in Chili Sauce -- One of the best dumplings we've had--and we've been to dim sum spots all over the world! The beef is flavorful and juicy, wrapped in a thin, perfectly chewy skin. The chili sauce complements the filling beautifully without overpowering it. Generous portion, amazing value, flawless execution. 9. Steamed BBQ Pork Bun -- Soft, fluffy buns filled with mildly sweet BBQ pork. Comforting, classic, and delicious every time. 11. Egg Yolk Bun -- Lightly sweet custard filling inside soft steamed buns. The perfect bite of dessert to end your dim sum feast. 16. The beef and chives inside are juicy and flavorful, and the portions are generous. I dream about these dumplings when I'm asleep. Absolute perfection. Take all my money! The Finishing Touch Dim sum is meant to be enjoyed with tea, and they offer a simple traditional brew that pairs beautifully with every dish.
