You guys if you need anything in regards to a garage door call Mike! He came to my house as I was having trouble with my sensors. NO CHARGE to check out my issues. First he gave me options: 1. Replace opener (but said it was working pretty well). 2. Move sensors 3. Have the garage door/opener serviced. 4. HE COULD TRY CHANGING OUT A VERY DATED SENSOR WITH ONE HE HAD ON HIS TRUCK. Mike then said let's try #4 for now and see what happens. I said ok sounds good. It literally took him 60 seconds to change out 1 sensor. The opener worked and I asked how much I owed him. He said nothing I had the part and it was just an old one he took off an old door. I WILL be scheduling the maintenance soon and I will be referring all my buyers and sellers to him. I sent a message through Yelp to Overhead Door Solutions on a Sunday afternoon. Mike called me on Tuesday, asked about my situation, provided possibilities, and set an appointment with a 2 hour window for a couple of days later that worked for me. He showed up right in the middle of the 2 hour window and explained that my garage door was actually OK and that a part for my opener should do the trick explaining that if I wanted a new belt driven opener it would be about $400 but with parts and labor it would be $165 for the repair. He had the part and said it should take no more than 45 minutes. He delivered as promised. I found Mike to be honest and trustworthy and would recommend or use him again if I had to. read more

I have had the misfortune of needing my garage door repaired TWICE in the last few years. The first time I tried to back my sedan out of my garage without putting the door up (I don't recommend this..) and fast forward a few years to now, I was backing a minivan into the garage and someone stopped the door before it was fully raised! The antenna fin hit the bottom of the door, the fin didn't move but the door was bad! Overhead fixed it then for a reasonable price and so I figured there was a good chance it could be fixed again, which Mike from Overhead did again! As you might expect, I do have some dings in my garage door at this point. We are waiting to do some major construction remodeling and we will replace the door then and will use Overhead. Their service is great, Mike is very nice and easy to work with, and prices are reasonable. This time, we noticed a little glitch in the sensor making the garage door go back up when trying to close it. Mike came out the day I called and fixed it with no hassles. So my garage door opener just stopped working, motor would turn but chain would not move. I called ODS and talked to Mike. He was able to come later that day to take a look. Mike quickly diagnosed what was wrong. The plastic gear that drives the chain had pretty much blow up. Mike had the spare part on his truck as he says that it is very common thing. Not only did he fix it quick, he also tightened my springs, lubed the wheels and adjusted the door. You can hardly hear it open and close now. Mike is a great guy and goes more then the extra yard to make sure you are satisfied. Heck he even put up with my 3yo talking his ear off. Oh and the pricing was very fair. No complaints at all. Everyone was a no, since I do not live in town, but in a more rural area.
