I thought they were great and I don't even skate. They weren't jerks to me about it. I needed a board and wanted a Garbage Pail Kids limited edition grip tape put on it to display in my hobby room. (GenX would understand.) They didn't give me a hard time about it at all. I also bought a Powell Peralta deck, now hanging on my wall in my garage. Super friendly guys. Zero issues. read more

Great shop with really friendly and patient staff. I came in to buy a skateboard for my nephew, and they were super helpful in guiding him through building one from scratch. They gave great recommendations while still listening to what he wanted and what he was trying to achieve. I'm really glad we found this place and will definitely continue supporting this local shop. read more

This skate shop has been here for about a decade now. The skate scene in Temecula isn't that big and there's not many skate shops in the area. The owner here is Woody and he's a cool guy who is just trying to help out the skate community. Here at the shop they have just about everything you want from decks, trucks, shoes, and apparel. The prices here are very fair and Woody is very knowledgeable. I don't skate any more but I still buy grip tape for other reasons. So overall this is a skate shop that you want to support!! read more

Great spot! Felt like a real skateshop which is rare these days. Go in, talk skating with woodie and buy sh!t. Keep core shops open.

I heard about this shop from a friend and it's about a 25 minute drive for me to get there. Luckily I was in the area. It seemed small for the outside but they really have a lot inside. Luckily it wasn't super busy when I went on a Monday around noon. I was able to browse the whole place and I had started talking wit he the owner. Woody is a such a nice guy. We actually spoke for about an hour on all kinds of topics starting with items for sale, skating, and vegan food. Woody knows his stuff. He can help with whatever your needs are. I felt very welcome in his shop even though I don't look like your typical skater. His prices are pretty good. Competitive and reasonable. His boards are not overpriced and he is an advocate for supporting the skateboard companies. He won't sell you anything that is cheaply made. He will make sure you get the best for your buck. Thanks for making me feel welcomed on my first visit. I will be returning soon. read more

This Skateboarding shop has it all and they know their stuff. I came in to replace the inferior equipment sold to me from somewhere else. I asked for bushings, risers and hardware, they asked if I wanted soft, medium or hard ones. I wanted the hard ones(because I weigh a lot) they said cool and gave me exactly what I wanted. The customer service was great and they're willing to give you expert advice on how to make your ride smoother and better. Just depends on your style. From now on, I will be coming here for any of my skateboarding needs. Thanks Overcast! read more

Had a positive experience recently at this small but cool skate shop. Robert provided friendly, knowledgeable service after showing him my daughter's first skateboard--bought used elsewhere and apparently had inferior trucks and bearing. He replaced with a new truck set plus appropriate wheels, installed it free himself, for a reasonable price overall. Daughter left the store all smiles after trying out her newly upgraded board and immediately loved the more stable ride. Thank you Robert for helping out a beginner skater! read more

The people were great and friendly. I brought my son here for his first set and I have no idea what I'm doing. I'm glad they stepped in to educate him about all his basic needs to skate. I find it very endearing like a big brother type of way. Thanks for the help guys, we're already planning a trip back for his second board. read more

Came here today to have my nephew pick out his first skateboard for his 7th bday. The staff and owner were incredibly helpful, kind, friendly, and made sure he was set up with a quality board -all within my budget. They made the whole process a breeze and even let my nephew help put it together which he was so excited to do! His board is so sick, and my nephew loves it. I even heard him say, "I love you" to the board on the ride home haha. This spot is THE spot- I cannot recommend them enough! :) read more

Need anything skate related? Go see Woody at Overcast. A truly local and independent skate shop. We found the shop by driving by one night. We had heard about it but never actually visited. Very sad. Because the first time went in to visit, Woody was phenomenal! We went back a week later to get a new deck. He fit my son with the right size! Another "big box" shop never fitted him. Woody knew right away what sizes to offer. Woody also listens to the customer. Want more concave? Want a stiffer board? Thinking about changing wheel types? Not sure how stiff of truck bushings you need? He recommends components based on the skater's needs. Plus, he offers suggestions on how to improve. He really cares about helping everyone enjoy skating. read more

Approached the store to have a look, only to be told that only "serious" buyers were allowed in the store. We love to support local skate shops but not with that attitude.. Funny part is that we always buy at least a shop t shirt but we didn't even get the chance to look. read more

I'll have to go to LA and get my kids skateboards. What's wrong that I can't shop in 2 stores? I have ballet kids and my other kids like to skate. We were dead serious about getting some boards here. Oh well. read more

Great Skateshop! For my son bday took him in to choose his own board and gear which he was able to pick out himself! They set it up perfectly the way he wanted! Owner is down to earth and will not steer you the wrong way! Any questions they are more than happy to answer. They have a great selection of boards and accessories! They make the effort to make sure you leave with a board that you not only like but love! It shows in the quality of business that they provide is to make sure your happy with your product! I was even able to come out with a sweet setup for myself because the pricing is fair! Not like a lot of corporate skate shops! If your in the area do not go to Zumiez or Active check them out and you won't go wrong! read more

Quality customer service, high quality products, and prices that are affordable depending on your skateboarding needs. You can tell the owner really cares about his customers because of his attention to detail and quick communication. I had a few inquiries about items in stock and was quick to message me the cost of each item. Curbside pick up was quick and easy too. One thing unique to the store is the custom grip tape designs, which arent overpriced and looking amazing on any deck since they come in a variety of colors and designs. Overall, great experience and will be buying more from Overcast in the future. read more

Went in two weeks ago to purchase a board for our granddaughters 9th birthday. We were given excellent customer service and helpful advice from the owner on what board, wheels, etc. would be best. When we gave it to her on her birthday, she absolutely loved it and rides it almost daily! Thank you for helping us grandparents look "cool" by helping us choose a great first board for her! read more

Went to another big box skate/surf shop in the area and they wanted to sell a complete set of foreign junk. Went to Overcast and they set up my 11-year-old son with a Deathwish board, Independent trucks, Bones wheels, and sweet airbrush grip tape out the door for $137. He got to pick EVERYTHING exactly liked HE wanted! No "complete sets only." They set up the board within 10 minutes and he was skating that afternoon. The girl that helped us was super cool and gave us tons of advice. Definitely recommend spending a slight bit extra for the excellent service and value. read more
