Fortunately the salesperson, after apologizing that they are required to keep the doors open, was very helpful and found us what we wanted quickly, so we could get out and go somewhere else that knows how to use an air conditioner. I guess someone in charge doesn't trust that potential customers are capable of using a door. What is the world coming to?

Came in for the first time asking if they could stretch a hat slightly for me. I let him know I would truly appreciate anything at all, even the smallest stretch. He was able to do just enough to make the hat fit perfectly for my dad, who hasn't been able to wear it for about five years. That small adjustment meant a lot, and I'm so grateful he took the time to help. My only recommendation would be to allow customers the option to take the risk on adjustments they're willing to try before turning them away. I completely understand the hesitation from the first employee, but sometimes it's not just about what you say, it's how you say it. A little willingness and kindness can go a long way with customers.

They have hats of all kinds from high end baseball caps to fedoras and cowboy hats. I have a small head so buying hats online doesn't usually end up working out. It's great to have a local option! I think the prices are a little high, but so are PB rent prices for businesses so whatever. I'm glad I can try things on before making my purchase. Fantastico inventory, Alina, reasonable prices, and Alina :) Every time I'm at The River, a quick stop at this store is a must for me. Whether it's to make a purchase or just browse. I have an extensive hat collection -- mostly baseball style caps. I prefer my hats low-profile and lightweight or DryFit. I've been eyeing a particular hat here, but it's very similar to one of my Boston Red Sox hats. It's so similar, I've refrained from buying it.
