We happened upon this place walking back from the Cathedral and what a find!!! Small but cozy, not your Abuela's standard tapas bar. The artichoke with roasted garlic and whiskey sauce , the chicken gyoza, the burger. A new spin on tapas and it is working! We made our way back again a few days later to make sure it wasn't our imagination. Run, do not walk, and immerse yourself in alll the deliciousness.

I loved this place! We got there 5 min before they opened and were the first table sat but had a line of people behind us. Best pork cheek I've ever had. We didn't have a plate that missed here.

This is a very trendy and busy spot so fully expect to be waitlisted if you're coming for dinner. You get a free bowl of olives to start and some alcoholic beverage to end. I don't drink so I have zero idea what it was lol. Might've been sherry because I hear that's wildly popular in Seville. The Patatas bravas here were the first bit of heat I got in any Spanish food I had throughout the entire country lol and were probably closest to what actual Patatas bravas are supposed to look at taste like traditionally. The eggplant sandwich was pretty good and kept well, so I had it for breakfast the next day. Because they're so busy you'll probably be waiting a while to get your check so don't expect to be anywhere else after and just enjoy the moment and the chaos. They do change some of their specials (which actually are on their menu) so be sure to ask what it is specifically.

Another great spot to eat at in the heart of Seville. If you can get a spot here or don't mind waiting, I highly recommend you coming here. There are a lot of tourists here, but that doesn't mean the food isn't amazing. This is a great fusion restaurants that has a bit of everything, like the chicken wings which were awesome, cool cocktails, burgers and potstickers. I would highly recommend the wings as well as the steak, which of course came with a side of potatoes and padron peppers.

They offer great tapas with a twist. What we ordered is different than what we got. So what we got are: patatas bravas, eggplant sandwich, pulled pork taco, fried bass, beef sirloin, and roasted vegetable salad. Prices are higher than other tapa places. The service is good. I like that their menu (la carta) is both in English and Spanish. I only have the English menu so I ordered in English. Little did I know that the waitress doesn't speak English and I tried to translate it with the little Spanish I know. She still got our order wrong. We ate what we got and everything taste great. My personal favorites are the fried bass and eggplant sandwich. It will be helpful to put numbers on the menu or to put the English and Spanish menu together to avoid mix up.

Super underwhelming. Restaurant opens its doors at 8 but the kitchen opens at 8:30 pm. Came on a Tuesday evening and there was a line initially, but the restaurant didn't fill until 8:45 or so. The food was very underwhelming. This place has notably higher pricing than other spots in town and the food is noticeably worse (but plated pretty). The pork cheek was not bad, the potatoes were also okay (although 6.5 euros for the size felt like a bit of a rip off), the tuna Tataki was awful (overcooked and under seasoned), and the risotto was undercooked and the rice was chewy. Drinks were not bad, just on the more expensive side for Sevilla. All in was around 50 euros.

The kind people of Ovejas Negras let us come in right before their kitchen was closing for the afternoon. We ordered some wine and a couple plates. The tomato burrata salad was insanely flavorful and it was topped with creamy burrata and fresh mint. The Iberico Ham Carpaccio was loaded with truffle and Parmesan. I highly recommend both dishes because you will definitely leave happy and satisfied!

So delicious that we went twice!! We had visited and eaten at Ovejas Negras 5 years ago and loved it so when we went back to Sevilla, it was at the top of our list to go back to. The service was great, the food was delicious and the sangria is so good!

Getting lost in Sevilla, or pretty much any European city is something all travelers gotta do, and by doing so I betcha you'll stumble upon some really great spots as I did with Ovejas Negras. To be honest, prior to eating here, I heard about it through Yelp but did not make it a mission to go there. But lucky me for finding it during a walk from the Cathedral because the food blew my family and me away! Yes, they serve tapas but a more refined and fusion version of them. You got your patatas bravas, seafood dishes, and more and I'm telling you they're all great! During our visit wr ordered the: Duck Breast - a little chewy/raw but very good and it came with seaweed salad haha Pork cheek - it was braised and slow cook until it was tender, the sauce was very flavorful Patatas Bravas - fried to perfection, and that mayo sauce was mindblowing Calamari in ink sauce - super tender and full of flavor Mushroom risotto - it was super flavorful with cheese, mushrooms, and herbs though the rice was a little on the harder side The total was 36EU and we were super full, especially since they were more like medium portions. It was a satisfying meal and probably my favorite during my time in Sevilla. Walking to put my name down, it was like a jungle as there were so many people packed inside and loud voices but I managed to speak with the host to write our name on the chalk board. The wait was an hour at 3pmish on a Saturday and it was full with people at the bar, table, and even the outside area where you can stand and eat. After coming back on time we discovered that the wait system was kind of strange as people who came after us, and I mean several parties of locals, were given tables before us and after speaking with the host we were finally given a space outside to eat. The service was nice though could have been better since they also got one of my orders wrong as I wanted the cod but received the calamari instead (no regrets though). There's a restroom but had no toilet paper either so that was a bummer. Nonetheless, check it out for something a little different in Sevilla aside from all the tapas bars around. I'm sure you'll walk away with a satisfied tummy! m a fan and so are locals so you know this place is a spot to

Our first place in Seville that we tried for lunch! Did not disappoint! Great friendly service, great food, great suggestions from our waiter/bartender! Sit at the counter! You get to be a part of all the fun! We had several of their tapas to include the Japanese pancake, wine, beer, etc... One of Sevilla's finest! Great location as well! Let the smells coming out of this place guide you! Can't go wrong with whatever you choose!

4.5 Ovejas Negras is owned by the same amazing people of Filo + Mamaracha (two of my fav places in Seville), so we knew this place would be great as well. ON is another great tapas bar with an enticing menu, a modern industrial interior, and quick service. We arrived shortly after 8, and it was pretty quiet, and people began to trickle in as we finished our meal. We enjoyed all three of the dishes we ate. The VEGETARIAN MOUSSAKA had soft layers of eggplant, zucchini and sweet potato, with crunchy yet melted cheese on top. Very flavorful and a great vegetarian option! The BURRATA was great to share - a big ball of luscious burrata with fresh slices of tomato and basil. The GRILLED OCTOPUS was a large portion, with several tentacles worth of octopus, cut into coins, a fragrant yellow sauce, cilantro and lime. Very fresh + simple, yet delicious. Like the other restaurants under the same company, we really enjoyed our meal at Ovejas Negras as well. They serve up non-traditional tapas with influences from other cultures, and are sure to have something on the menu for everyone.

    mushroom risotto
    Dillon L.

The food here looked good, so I had lunch here consisting of the risotto and carillada. The risotto was a mushroom risotto and it was really good. I liked theirs more than most of the risottos I've had in Spain. There were a lot of mushrooms in it, so that tasted good. And the rice was cooked really well, each grain softened but kept some bite. However, the carrillada was disappointing. It had a sweet flavor, but the meat was less moist and tender than I prefer in pork cheeks. It was my least favorite version of carrillada I had in Seville. While I enjoyed the risotto, the disappointing pork cheeks makes me not want to come back, since the prices are higher than other places.

Knowing we were going to eat a lot during a food tour, we settled on some small tapas (ham, cheese, bread, and olives) and got some sangria and a beer. I came here due to a yelp recommendation because like most westerners unaccustomed to the Spanish way of living I was hungry at about 7 pm and needed something to eat. Yay yelp to the rescue. The place was crowded and there were no seats available when I arrived. There were many small groups congregated around tables and a few couples as well. It isn't obvious how to proceed once you come in the door so I probably stood there awkwardly for a few minutes near the door before making my way to the bar to what looked to be a vacant seat. A gentleman informed me that it belonged to his girlfriend so I was forced to now stand awkwardly next to the bar. Bar tender to the rescue explaining that if I waited he was pretty sure someone would leave soon and I could order a drink while I waited. I ordered a sangria and also inquired about food but was told that I need to have an actual seat in order to order food. After nursing my drink for about 20 mins when I was about to pay and head out to find somewhere else to eat, a spot finally opened up and I was treated to the most delicious steak and potatoes and zucchini tapas. This had to be one of the most delicious things I have eaten on this vacation. When I finally vacated my seat to save a pair of new arrivals, there was a line outside of people waiting for the opportunity to eat here. I might chance it again before I leave Seville. I highly recommend for the food and friendly waiters but wish there was a way to turn seats over more quickly. One guy kept insisting he was saving his girlfriend's seat but in the 90 mins I spent there she never showed up. Who knows if she ever existed. Bread comes free with your tapas order and really complimented the meal.
