I went to the drink bar for a piece of lemon and the container was empty. I asked the girl at the counter for a lemon and she said, "we're working on it!" She finally brought the container back to the bar and returned to the counter without a word (passive aggressive). Also, there was a workman with saw, hammer and staple gun working on the trash cabinet. Besides the help being snippy, the service being less than, they are usually out of several kinds of bagels. So sad to say goodbye to what used to be a favorite.

Thankfully my friend and I were here at 1 pm on a Wednesday afternoon and there wasn't a line. The place did fill up while we were there though. My friend ordered the Chef Salad and a sweet tea. I had the Philly Cheesesteak sandwich with onions and added peppers. They do have a daily breakfast and lunch special posted. Nothing fancy about the restaurant. Local memorabilia decorated the walls so that gave it a sense of "community." Our food was good. Parking was limited. The staff was friendly. I would definitely come again-although I would again choose an "off" time because I imagine this place is quite busy during peak meal times.

It is sad when a chain such as Dunkin has a system for more consistency. We had also asked for butter but that went on deaf ears. We made out selections of bagels and cream cheese spreads and had a very nice conversation with the owners/ bakers. Tasting the bagels a little later, we wished we had bought more. They were crispy on the outside and soft and chewy on the inside just like good bagels should be. The flavors were wonderful, with special shout out to the French toast bagels and cinnamon/ brown sugar cream cheese spread.
