The outdoor seating area is spacious and fun with old cars turned into self imposed selfie stations (guilty as charged) and a haven for sticker placements. Bartenders were great once served. However, on NYE you would think that both bars would be open?!? Having a huge line deterred me from getting another beer.

Burial is so unique in that they brew something special every week. Stop by each Wednesday to find out what's new. What I love here is that for their special brew...they serve and charge per ABV...so if it's higher alcohol...you end up paying more. Other brews are by the pint. It's all good though...everyone gets looked after. On to another matter...the food. The food here is friggin delicious. I recommend the smash burger or the wings. The turkey sandwich is also great. A good lunch will cost $25/pp. Stop by the retail store and pick up a few cans of local recent brew to take home. A 4-Pack will cost no less than $24. Remember...every Wednesday they have something new and unique to sell...and it will sell out within 4 days.

Mrs. K. and I took the two seats at the end and I walked up to the bar to order drinks and dinner. A pint of the "American Style Lager" for me and their "Spicy!" ginger beer that Mrs. K. said was good but not all that spicy. Less than ten minutes later, my chicken wings arrived. They sell them as "a pound" which was good because these were very small wings. Small, but tasty in a sweet/spicy sauce and I ate nearly all of them while slowly sipping that very crushable beer. When it was done, back into the Sprinter van and off to figure out where we're parking for the night. I had tried to make a reservation on their RV parking app but they're booked two or three weeks out! Note: The restrooms are upstairs and they have an elevator. You are then given a table number in order to have your food delivered to you. My husband and I ordered the Tuesday special which has two smashed burgers, fries, and a white labs brewing beer of your choice. I chose the American beer, which was very flavorful and not bitter. I am not a big beer drinker however I drank the entire glass. I was a little disappointed in the burger. The burgers were not very smashed and very dry. They did have a special sauce that they put on, but it was less than a teaspoon, could definitely use more sauce to help with the dryness of the burger. They did give you a large amount of french fries that were very tasty and cooked to perfection. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I would definitely go back and perhaps try other items on their menu. Many breweries in the area have a limited kitchens or not at all. If you're looking for a good beer with friendly staff and nice atmosphere this is your place.

It is quite the space - a…read morelarge lawn in front with plenty of space for the kids to run around, a nice view of the river off the side, and a really nice space inside. Being someone who isn't the biggest fan of kids in the brewery, it was nice that the kids had a place outside to run around while I could drink in (relative) silence inside. As for the beers, yes they have all the New Belgium favorites you know and love from the store, but with plenty of beers that you'll only find on the tap list. Even though the brewery is called New Belgium, they aren't really known in the beer aisles for Belgian styles. Here is where all those Belgian styles are, and they are fantastic. My only regret was that I didn't have enough time to spend there because there were too many other places to visit in a short amount of time. Local beer snobs will probably tell you to avoid New Belgium because it's "too corporate", but don't listen to that nonsense. New Belgium's tap room was one of the most impressive I've ever visited - great quality beers in an incredible space.

I like the way they incorporated samples throughout the tour and the number and size of samples alone is worth the price of the tour. But I also thoroughly enjoyed the tour itself along with the tour surprise. Beautiful grounds at a very good location on the river. My favorite location so far of the 14 breweries I have been to in Asheville. Definitely recommend trying just for the location alone.
