The manufacturer has been out of business for a few years now. I tried 7 trailer and RV dealers and no one was willing to touch the single piece stainless nose with the exception of a dealer who planned to rivet three pieces of stainless steel together to effect the repair. Max at Universal Fleet said that they would find the steel and make the repair as well as get a custom graphic to replace the original. I spoke to him about the cracked fiberglass roof, which was due to age, not part of the accident, and Max said they would look at it too. While making the repair, they suggested a matching coating on the roof to ensure the integrity of the roof. The work is beautiful. It is better than factory perfect. They not only did the stainless steel, but the fiberglass, painted steel, molding, trim and graphics. I couldn't imagine it being repaired any better.

It had 1,200 miles from being driven from the factory in Indiana and was taken to a trade show, but everything Thor was unused and still under warranty. We reached out via their contact us form and was out in touch with Brandon. This is a small, mom and pop dealership-and we love supporting small businesses. Brandon was upfront and very fair. It was up there with the best "car-buying" experiences I've ever had. We corresponded by phone, FaceTime for a video walkthrough of the van and checked everything on the van to make sure everything was in order. They specialize in tow behind trailers, so the van wasn't for their primary audience. After we did our due diligence, we made arrangements to drive from Texas to Colorado to see it in person and to purchase it if everything checked out. And it did. Brandon, DJ and Mike took great care of us, getting us acquainted with all of the systems, researching and fixing a noise on the roof that ended up being some cables for the awning that had broken free of their zip tie before we headed back to Texas.
