Uh oh. The heater, the refrigerator, the stove all not getting propane. PROBLEM. I went in to get a part. the propane detector, and was prepared to try again to install it myself. I say again, because I had already installed a new one. The parts guy, Daniel, was a total gentleman. Very knowledgeable and really nice. I figured there would be NO WAY that they could get me in on short notice, but just inquired with Daniel. He turned and asked Sara, the sweetest service rep ever, if they had any technicians who could look at and get the situation figured out. Seriously, she has the brightest blue eyes and smile. A real pleasure to work with. Luckily they had just received notice of another client canceling their services appointment. She got me right in! What they thought might take a half an hour actually took 3 1/2 but that's OK. It turned out the work I had done was (almost) right, and the real problem was the regulator. I guessed at that, but, wasn't going to try and tackle that on my own. They got it figured out, fixed it and got me on the road! It probably cost me a little more than maybe some other shops, but not much. The service staff and techs are consumate professionals. I appreciate that so much. And as for the cost...... I know the owner donates hundreds of thousands of $$$$ (truly) to some very important organizations and scholarships. So as for this visit, I was not unhappy about the cost. They diagnosed a problem with my window blind snd left it on the couch in the dinette. I could use it manually before but now it is totally unusable. I was told that it will take 6 weeks to get the new one. I now b have no sun shade or privacy while traveling . I must cover the window with paper and make it impossible to use. Why break something that makes it impossible to use. It is clear that they decided that it should not be used manually which i had been able to prior to their" diagnosis " i am taking it back to have it made usable until the new blind arrives. Too bad that the situation was not fixed so that i could continue to use it manually. Now it is covered in paper and totally makes the window totally unusable. read more

This was my third experience with Transwest. Each time cost more than it should have. This time we had a leak in the black water tank during a camping trip. We drained the tanks and brought it in to be repaired as soon as possible. After spending $231.34 for a diagnostic fee, I was told they could not "duplicate the leak". So I left with no repair and significantly less money in the bank. I took it to another repair shop who was able to identify three locations of leaks and repair it for approximately the same amount as the diagnostic fee. I feel that Transwest did not care about my business since I have an older class B RV. I can't complete with the business they must get from those large RV busses. read more

Took my RV in for its 30k service. We full time and travel with a dog. It is first come first serve for that type of service. Arrived around 10 am in and checked in. Front desk attendant was great. Put us in the queue but in the meantime we were able to park in a space with power so we could wait in our motor home until our turn came up. They came over around 2 and took us in. The waiting area is dog friendly and has free WiFi. I was told it would take about 4-5 hours for the service. We left and did some shopping and had dinner and returned at 6. Rig was ready by 6:30. Great people all around and the price was very reasonable. I highly recommend this place if you need any work done on any type of RV. read more

Transwest , Frederick , CO 7550 Ei-25 frontage road Review for Transwest RV in Frederic , CO We came in for 3 simple repairs. One smashed window curtain, one broken hinge on a cabinet Winnebago cheated on and used cheap inadequate too small screws and a leaking seal on one window. We thought everthing was under warranty . They came back with an estimate 3 hours after they were done with the diagnostic in which I had to inquire myself at the service desk (noone came to tell us) they charged us 366.00 just for this diagnostic they kept us waiting for . The estimate was 3,300 + dollars, totally ridiculous ! We refused of course but had to pay the diagnostic. On the estimate sheet under misc. they charge you an outrageous price for SHOP TOWELS . Don't go here for repairs unless your winnebago chassis is under full warranty . They EXTREMELY overcharge and don't back you up when Winnebago does cheap work. Go somewhere else please, save money , time and get a decent mechanic. We had work under warranty there that didn't fix the problems in the past but had to find a road mechanic in Arizona to make it right and then get reimbursed from Winnebago. As anyone ever heard of a repair shop charging for shop towels ?? We are now exploring other options as finding friends who can recommend good mechanics or just doing the work as good as we can. We have been looking for a new camper van for some time now and just purchased a "new" 2022 Antero Longs Peak from Transwest. We are located in Reno so I was a little leery being so far away and not being able to see the van and getting specific info etc. but AC truly went above and beyond to be there for us. He would respond to texts with various questions that we had quickly and even on the weekends. Just a genuinely nice and honest guy to work with...can't recommend him enough. What really helps with being so far from the dealer is the videos that they do on YouTube. It really made me feel comfortable with the purchase without physically seeing the van. I already knew how they dive because we have an older sprinter that we just sold...this might not be the case for some. The only thing that caught us a little off guard is that the van was advertised as a 2022 but that is just the conversion model. The van turned out to actually be a 2019 but it is still brand new with us being the first owners. Just think that should be explained up front but we still love the van and are overall very happy with our experience. Financing was a breeze too. Stephanie was great to work with and got us a great interest rate. Everything was quick and explained thoroughly. There was one hiccup when it came to picking up the van. They were late on getting the van ready for the walk through because there was an issue with the heater. This is something that should have been checked prior to my arrival being that I had a 15 hour drive home that night but AC called the folks down at Antero and they rushed right over to address the heater along with some other minor issues. Overall I think Transwest was great to work with and I highly recommend them. AC is the man so be sure to ask for him if you're looking for a new van/RV or whatever. Great job AC! read more

Transwest got us on the road in time. Our RV was in for repairs, and after a very slow parts ordering process (the reason that this isn't a 5 start rating), the parts came in damaged. They were SO wonderful about getting them replaced in a hurry, and the sevice tech even stayed late on the day before a holiday to get us on the road for our 4th of July trip! It is both disheartening and perplexing to express our profound disappointment with the communication experience encountered with Transwest, specifically with Miss Katie. Despite numerous attempts to engage through various platforms such as WhatsApp, email, and LinkedIn regarding an investment in a Super C motorhome, the lack of response from Miss Katie, even after accepting a LinkedIn connection, is truly unexpected and unprofessional. This disregard for communication raises concerns about the standards of professionalism upheld by Transwest. It is regrettable that such behavior aligns more with that of a stereotypical "Used Car Salesman," rather than the level of service one would anticipate, especially when considering substantial investments. We appreciate this eye-opening experience and will be exploring alternative avenues where our business is truly valued. It's TRULY IRONIC when your motto claim your uniqueness that is based on your relationship with the client!! This explains things in a much better prospective. OMG...We're new at this extended RV thing and have realized it is a luxury to have a familiar place at home for oil changes. On the road??? That's another story. We have had a hard time figuring out how to find places to get our oil changed. We're not a large rig. Winnebago Ekko; 23' long x 9'6 high. Most quick oil change shops send us away. We found Transwest after making several stops (including a Ford dealership). If I lived in Fredrick this is CERTAINLY the place I would go. They got us in and on the road in no time. Not only that, the people they hired to work on the public side of things are perfectly suited for their jobs. Not a grouchy one in the bunch. Nice job Transwest. read more

We had two trailer tires on the same side blow at the same time on a busy I-25. We didn't have a heavy enough jack to lift up our 17,000# heavily loaded hay trailer. We weren't in the safest of spots and were slowing down traffic considerably. While waiting for Triple A to arrive, (they never did), Jared from Transwest just happened by with his heavy duty utility truck. In twenty minutes he had managed to lift the trailer, tires were changed, and we were back on the road. Jared was incredibly competent and polite. He refused any payment and just said to 'pay it forward'. We wanted to commend Transwest on the caliber of their employees and a thank you to Jared! read more
