I noticed a sign for Phat Turk and thought to myself, "I hope that's Turkish food" and saw the food-truck-like structure outside. You need to walk through the entrance of the Co-Op or around the back to access. Husb and I split a chicken wrap with an ayran (savory yogurt drink). Good size, perfectly cooked chicken, super flavorful. Wish we were hungrier, wanted my own wrap but sadly just had a bagel... and even then, this was darn good. We asked if we could bring our pups through since there are "service dogs only" signs and the co-op folks let us walk through the pub-area so the dogs could hang outside in the shade while we ate. Great service, great use of the back space, and great food!

It was a very pleasant surprise to find Phat Turk tucked away in a little food truck courtyard and when I'm next in Cottage Grove this will be my first stop. The owner is friendly and welcoming too- a wonderful experience all-around.

Let me break down the Chicken Avocado sandwich: The focaccia bread was light airy and delicious. Every so often you get a little salty finish from the sea salt on top and it worked so well with the sandwich. All of the other components were incredible; chicken was moist and all of the ingredients tasted fresh. The smoked salmon chowder was also a good pairing with the sandwich. Next time I'm remotely near here, I'll be back.
