There was no attempt at basic courtesy, only hostility. The way I was spoken to made me feel singled out and discriminated against for not being Korean, which is disturbing and not okay. What made it even worse is that this visit was supposed to be a nice moment with my family who are visiting from abroad, and his behavior completely ruined what should have been a positive experience. This wasn't a misunderstanding it was outright rude. The cashier's attitude was as bad as his tattooed eyebrows: loud, abrasive, and impossible to ignore.
