Great place to burn off the kids energy! There's an area where the kids can run around and ride little scooter bikes. While doing so parents can sit around and relax. Great also that there is a door next to the seating area where you can see if your child tries to leave. There's an area where you can just order food and eat and hang out. There's a small arcade for the kids. So much to do to get the kids tired for the day.

We have lived here for 10 + years and finally went to odyssey 1! We went today around 10:45am. My kids are ages 6-14 and we all enjoyed ourselves. The play area is perfect because little ones can't get out the play area without the help of an adult!! It's a nice size as well. So it's perfect for the winter months. I definitely plan to go back with my 6 & 7 year old more often. My older ones actually had fun too. The games are good enough to teens interested for about a hour. My daughter actually wanted to do the play area but it's 10 and younger unfortunately. Her little brothers really wanted to play with her in there. We didn't get to do laser tag so I will update my review when we do that. We spent a good amount of money on tokens and the play area so I didn't want to pay another $30 for Laser Tag for all of them. It's clean, GREAT customer service! Highly recommend checking it out. There isn't much to do for kids especially in the winter months so this place is great. I can see it being a lot of fun for a group of teens too. Like if you have at least 4 to play laser tag. I homeschool so we plan to come back at least twice a month during the winter months. They keep Fresh air flowing inside as well! We had a great time and my 7 year old hit the jackpot with 1000 tickets!! He got a cool Ninja toy set.

Trike area, small area for kids 4 and under behind that and to the right is the rest of the play area for bigger kids.

This review is for May 2021 (play area only). Pre Covid I would give this place 2 stars due to its cleanliness. When I took my kids today I was relieved to see that they have taken out the balls from the ball pits. The ball pit germs was a big concern for me. Everything looked wiped down and deep cleaned even inside the tunnels and foam steps. The carpets were shampoo'd! It looked new. Before, the carpet was grimy and the whole place smelled like dirty socks. You guys they took time during Covid to deep clean the place and I'm a very happy customer because of that! Check my photos. Food is 2 stars. Don't go expecting anything gourmet here. I think children 2 and under should be considered "little kids". Instead, they count 2yr olds as regular admission. Kind of a rip off because 2yr olds don't really use the whole space. Anyway, I hope they keep up the level of cleanliness. It should've been this way Pre Covid! A good place for a rainy day. We practically had the place to ourselves on a Monday at 12:30-1:30.

Took my 5 year olds for a fun day in the play area and some fun in the arcade. Front worker was super helpful and friendly. This was our first time here.

This is a cool little spot for kids. What I like most about this establishment is the open play area for the kids. It's spacious and has all of the climbing, and tunneling that children love. The only thing that paranoias me about it is the lack of cameras. I do feel that in any space where children can run and hide or be out of sight then there needs to be cameras because there are a lot of pervs and creeps in this world (with children) who can't wait for an open opportunity to attempt something. But yes that open play area is a great idea and the kids freaking love it! The arcade game options they have are great as well but a little pricey in my opinion. Some games take 4 tokens and I honestly think that's too much, your tokens don't go far at this place so that's an important negative for me personally. The food is terrible. My nephew wanted me to buy a pizza from here so bad and I just wouldn't. I told him we would order pizza at home. I ordered fries and jalapeño poppers. It took about 20 minutes (too damn long) and the poppers were burnt. I watched them take the frozen pizza out, open it, sprinkle more cheese on top and then charge $15-17 for those pizzas that are worth no more than $2. The prizes are flat out wrong. If you don't get over 400 tickets then the most you will get are some small pieces of candy. Not my go to option for the kids, the best part is the open play in MY opinion. But go and see if you like it.

We had our daughters 8th birthday party here this weekend and it was a blast! The whole place was cleaned and well maintained, the party room came with an attendant who not only made sure our kids had pizza ect on time but also served, cleaned, decorated and made balloon animals! Natasha was so sweet and really seemed to enjoy helping us! Aside from that, the value was great! For under $200 we got the room, 100 tokens, play time, Natasha's services and laser tag passes!

    Celebrating birthdays is fun.

I wish this place was nicer and didn't look like it was outdated from the nineties however appearances aren't everything. My kids have a blast when we are here and I think they are reasonably priced. Besides the pizza combo. A large pizza and a pitcher of pop goes for $24 and I'm only complaining about the price and not the taste because zaa was freaking incredible. IDK what it is about kid center pizza but I thought chuck e cheese was good and Odyssey 1 was 10x better and greasier bottom line is I'd drop $20 on it again regardless of the steep price. We had our daughters party there on a Tuesday and it was magical because literally no one was there and the kids got the place all to themselves. Do not be fooled though because that place is PACKED on the weekends. A time I never will be interested in going during again. The games are fun. Odyssey 1 is more appropriate for my kids ages 2&6 than chuck e cheese so I liked that. The staff are young but helpful and friendly and parking is good. They let us keep a running tab for party goers because we weren't sure how many people were coming and we didn't want them to have to pay to come in so that was cool. They hold onto your ID and a credit card which is kind of iffy but it's locked up in the register so there's protection from patrons even if not so much the staff but whatever my identity and bank acct has been fine. I can't wait to go back for pizza!

This is her cake melted all to crap!

If I could I would give this place a zero!!! What a sh*t show!!! First off, nothing on the website says anything about people not being able to bring a cake in for a birthday party on Saturday and Sunday. We had ice cream cake with us. They said they would put it in the freezer while we were there which is the only reason why we stayed. Then we also had an in training Scottish terrier puppy with us and at first they said it was fine as long as he stayed on the floor under the table area. We thought everything was fine only to be approached 20 minutes later (after ordering food) that we couldn't have the service puppy. My sister and I both told them that we were already told that it was okay. This guy that came up is named Mick, saying he is the only manager and that he is right below the owner of the company...BS! He said if we didn't leave that he would call the cops on us. None of this would have happened if this place would answer a damn phone or return a phone call when someone leaves a message to call back, so questions could be asked!!! We ended up leaving and getting all of our money back. My sister pulled up the laws on the service animal and they wouldn't even look at it. Then my sister went to grab the cake and take it out to the car, it was melted all to hell!!! This place never put my niece's cake in the freezer and This place RUINED my niece's 4th birthday party. Her cake was RUINED!!!! And we were told to leave!!! We will never go back to this place and I wouldn't recommend anyone else either.

was here to celebrate my granddaughter's birthday after purchasing their horrible pizza and juice and paid for children to play after about an hour of playtime and pizza my son brought in cupcakes to help celebrate we were then approached by management saying that no outside food allowed without the purchase of a party room we stated that over the past 5 yrs we've always had cakes to celebrate and have seen others doing the same without a party package and nothing was ever said about it. Management stated that has always been the rule and staff was probably afraid to enforce it. I'm sorry but that is indeed a poor excuse and a cruel policy. Especially since cakes are not offered there for purchase. You have just lost a customer we will not be back!

They told us we can't bring our goodie bags in...because they had candy in them. What goody bag doesn't have candy in them.

We do love pinball, but we might have come along this place randomly. It's been busy the few times we have been, which tend to be weekend afternoons. Not so busy you can't play though, prices are comparable. It doesn't seem too claustrophobic like some places, lots of space to move around. Full bar and friendly service. Places to sit. While my kids were able to play on the few functioning games, it is clear the establishment is being run down. You have to invest in your equipment; there is no point in staying open if you aren't honest about the fact that a majority of your games are out of order. As someone who runs a corporate firm, I know that respect and transparency are the foundations of customer service. If Les dislikes his business or his guests this much, he should sell it to someone who will actually appreciate the establishment and its customers. It seems obvious that this place will continue to struggle if the owner doesn't start actually caring for his business.

Let's face it's an entire convention center room dedicated purely to vintage arcade & Pinball machines. The 3 day festivities are in June at the Tacoma Convention Center. As a child I played with a pocket full of quarters at the arcade and now it's free once you pony up the admission fee. My favorite games I played this year was the new KISS Pinball machine. Amazing graphics and lightening fast ball action with amazing play. You'll be blown away by the newest features built into this machine. Heck you can even pick which KISS song you want it to play during the game. Also the multi ball play is insane. Ball's are flying everywhere and if you lose one another shots back onto the playing field. Very hyper and sometimes keeps you to focused on the play. Aerosmith 2017 machine was ok, so after a few plays I walked away instead of "Walk This Way". The Metallica Pinball machine was a nice playing machine however AC/DC's 2017 Pinball machine is awesome and should win the 2017 hyper play award. Kinda ironic since Adam West who played Batman died a few days ago. Vintage games like PAC MAN, Donkey Kong , Tempest & Astroids are line up in the gaming section of the floor. All the games you'll remember from childhood are there to play and as many times as you want. Most fun you'll have in an afternoon in Tacoma , so folks put it on your calendar for next year.

Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing across the board due to a complete lack of oversight and management. During bowling, there was no enforcement of basic lane courtesy or policies. Other bowlers repeatedly ignored turn-taking etiquette, which significantly slowed our play. Because we were practicing proper courtesy while others were not, we lost time -- and since bowling is charged by the hour rather than by the game, we effectively paid for time we couldn't use. No staff intervention, guidance, or monitoring was present. The mini-golf experience was similar. There was no supervision at all. People were going out of turn, grown adults were touching and interfering with the decor, and multiple individuals were in the water features, which felt unsafe and completely unmanaged. It was chaotic and disrespectful, with no staff stepping in to maintain order. To make matters worse, within hours of eating at the on-site restaurant, my 15-year-old son became violently ill with repeated vomiting and diarrhea for over 20 hours straight, resulting in a nearly five-hour visit to Mary Bridge Children's Hospital ER the next night for dehydration and uncontrolled vomiting. I also became ill, though less severely. The common food item we shared was ground beef (patty melt and nachos). Both of us ate the nachos and we were the only two that got sick. When I called the next day to notify the restaurant, the response was immediately defensive, with no concern expressed and no offer of a refund -- I had to ask. I later learned the manager I spoke with oversees both the restaurant and entertainment operations, which unfortunately aligned with our overall experience. I understand that businesses get busy. What's unacceptable is the absence of basic supervision, customer care, and accountability across every part of the visit. This was not a one-off issue -- it reflected systemic poor management.

They've clearly updated the outside of it but the inside is giving traditional 90s bowling alley vibes (which I love). The building is divided into two main areas - one with a ton of lanes (obviously) and then the other part is a really cool mini golf course with water features and everything. I'd love to come back here with my kids during the rainy months, because they'd be all about it. We got there right before a crazy rush thankfully and were set up with a lane in no time. Prices are kind of all over the place dependent on what day and time you go, but split between the three couples, it was super affordable for a date night activity. They also have a restaurant with traditional American offerings. We tried the nachos (delicious) and also the chicken bacon ranch quesadilla (also really good!) Nothing out of this world but still good and decently priced. Another bonus is that they have a full bar. It's on the smaller side, but a bar all the same... And really cheap! A pitcher of beer was like $13 which really is not bad for these days. This was a super fun spot for a night out with friends and we're excited to bring the kids back here once the fall weather hits!

Perfect for all ages really, but our crew of ages 5+ loved it and we could've stayed much longer than we did. When we parked we didn't expect this place to be so big but it's absolutely massive. They have a full bar, a restaurant space, the arcade area, axe throwing lanes, and even party rooms. It's huge! There's a tonnnn of games to choose from. Modern day ones, old arcade machines, claw machines, you name it! My son who is the gamer of the family was in heaven here. We ended up grabbing a couple drinks from the bar and it was so cool! They have fun themed cocktails plus a you-pour-it tap wall. And they have a ROBOT BARTENDER! I got a drink made by the robot and it was pretty good albeit very sweet. I got the Princess Peach one. My husband used the you-pour-it wall for cider and they had awesome local selections. We ended up eating at the restaurant too and their menu is pretty extensive! We got a couple different types of pizzas and for an arcade, it was pretty dang solid. We got a chicken pesto pizza as well as a cheese pizza. The kids loved their cheese pizza (hard to mess that up) and we scarfed down the chicken pesto! Also, did I mention your food is also delivered by robots?! Such a fun touch for the kids! They also have tables with game consoles and tvs on the wall which is a great way to keep hungry kiddos distracted. Definitely suggest checking this spot out, with or without the kids!

Lots of pinball. You add money to a plastic playing card and then scan the readers at games you want to play. Just like the casino. Where you try to do the math in your head.. how much is 20 points costing me? We were excited to try out the robot bartender. It made us giggle, but mostly just a novelty. The robots make limited drinks, the drinks are pretty sugary, and a real person still finishes it off. So honestly, do it once for kicks, then switch back to the actual bartenders to get a drink you want. It's just kind of for show. Did not try the pizza or any food.
