The purchase was pretty straight forward - knew exactly what bike size and color we wanted to purchase. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars was because after a long drive there, I asked if there was a customer restroom. The gentleman said, "You aren't going to sue me are you?" which I don't feel is relevant. Maybe they have been sued before? I don't know what that was about. I told him no worries, I don't need to use the restroom and he didn't say anything after that. The bike is great and was just what we were looking for. It was a great purchase.

Staff is friendly, albeit not terribly knowledgeable unless Nico is there (owner). But, for the Inland Empire, it's a great shop if you need equipment. i can't speak for their classes because I've never taken any from them. I'm sure the classes are well run, the cert agencies see to that. What I would NOT recommend is their repair service. It's the worst I've experienced in the LA area. I've left a reg and a SS1 there (separately) and even tho they were promised to be ready by my trip. The date came, they weren't ready. Both times, the gear was there for over a month. This last time (and it will be the last time) they promised a month; i got busy and left it 2 months. I called, it wasn't done. When I threatened a poor review, the owner called me, got nasty and said he didn't appreciate the threat and my SS1 was going to 'magically' be done that Sunday. Here's the facts: I don't ever threaten, i write honest reviews, both good and bad. So the next person knows what to expect, that's what YELP is about. So, as they say "if the shoe fits" and if it fits in a bad way, then FIX IT. I am not happy about it and it really is a shame, they are local and I prefer to do business locally. I lived in the SoBay for 30+ years and retired to the Inland Empire... i would prefer to do business here, but they gave me no choice. If you need a referral, contact me.

They usually have offerings on Groupon for savings, however, it's also easy to book online from their website and pay directly. Ian was our instructor and he did an excellent job. He was very patient with us and definitely knows his stuff! The lesson started with basic safety and then proceeded to technique. He helped my youngest out by letting her try several different bows to make sure she was comfortable. I was pretty rusty, but ended up hitting the bullseye a couple of times. They usually do a round where you blow up a balloon and try to pop it with the arrow, but they were out of balloons this time. As a result, Ian created a challenge for us where whoever hit the bullseye, or closest to it, would win a Riverside Archery sticker. Surprisingly enough, on the last round, I ended up victorious and the proud owner of the sticker! Yay! They have open lanes for practice at certain times of the day and you can rent the equipment from them as well. Awesome facility and super fun activity! Highly recommend Riverside Archery!

Customer service definitely needs improvement. I've visited this shop three different times, and…read moreunfortunately, each visit has left me with the same impression--the customer service and overall treatment just do not feel right. When customers are walking around the shop and clearly looking at products, the staff should be paying attention to them instead of spending time talking with friends who are visiting. On one of my visits, I actually intended to purchase my first bow here. However, after being left alone for over an hour without anyone checking to see if I needed assistance, I eventually decided to leave and purchase elsewhere. The layout of the shop also makes the lack of customer service more noticeable. Most of the bows are located behind the counters, which means customers have to directly ask an employee just to see or hold one. That becomes counterproductive when such a large shop is being staffed by only two or three people, especially when those employees are already busy or distracted. The shop has a great selection of products, which is why I continued giving it another chance. Unfortunately, after three separate visits, my experience has been fairly consistent. A great selection only goes so far if customers do not feel acknowledged or comfortable asking to see the equipment they are interested in purchasing. A little more attentiveness, engagement, and acknowledgment of customers would go a long way toward improving the overall experience.

I don't mind traveling a little to buy a bike, but I want something close for maintenance, repair, parts, and maybe community. When I have wanted to repair or do maintenance in the past, it would involve a 60+ minute round trip drive to Riverside or Redlands to drop off the bike, then repeat to pick it up. Discovering and visiting 951 Bikes was both promising and a blessing. My end of day visit to the shop was to get some cleats for some new shoes. The price was reasonable, not Amazon low, but I prefer to pay a few more to support a local shop. The store was stocked with a lot of accessories in front and parts behind the counter. I had to wait to get help, there were two guys working on bikes in the back and another helping customers with checkout. Everyone I met was friendly, and I left hopeful that I found a place to satisfy my local bike mechanic needs.

Ultimate Customer Service!…read more So I purchased two rolls of the 4x25 rubber flooring from Mike on Monday this week. Unfortunately, one of the rolls had a weird spot on it that wasn't 100% vulcanized and was semi deteriorated. I called Mike and he offered to bring me a roll but it would be later in the day. Since I had equipment coming Tuesday, I kinda needed it fast. I asked if I needed to return the roll and Mike said nope, that's yours now. I'll replace it and give you a second roll for your trouble. I couldn't believe it! In this day and age, the customer service level was absolutely incredible. Mike, thank you so much, I got it all worked out and have the extra roll now. Honestly, I'm still dumbfounded how awesome this turned out.!!!
