My experience was awful from this particular Outback Steakhouse on a pickup order. Had the 15oz ribeye and baked potato medium rare. The cut of ribeye I received was a narrow cut somewhat like a strip steak that was gristly and quite a bit of fat with that whiteish rubberband sinew running through almost every cut with my knife. The baked potato was severely overcooked or had been sitting wrapped in aluminum foil under a heat lamp for a couple of hours. This was prime time dinner at 5:45. Won't be back anytime soon read more

Seated at 6:13 appetizer of blooming onion served at 6:50 . Sent back and had it taken off bill it was burnt. Had to ask for silverware, asked for salad dressing on the side it came on the salad Under the cheese. Ordered 6oz filet with sweet potato and ribeye with baked potato. The ribeye looked fine but the filet looked like it had been placed on life support, not a drop of juice anywhere on the plate, dry as a bone. Waited till almost 7:00 for our meal. When the bill came for$ 55.00 now I know why we always go to Texas Roadhouse. Always satisfied with Roadhouse meals. Won't be returning to Outback. read more

We ordered carry out. The bloomin onion was pitiful and small. The pasta was dry and disgusting. The one special instruction I gave was not heeded. When I emailed my complaint, the manager left me a voicemail stating she talked to her kitchen help. My wife and I placed a phone order at the Outback Restaurant in Madison Heights, Mi. I was supposed to get an order of fries with one of the dinners that I ordered, but they weren't in the bag when we got home (mistakes can happen so we really weren't that upset). However, when I called the store to let them know what happened, the MANAGER told the person who took the call to tell us that he/she would offer us a "FREE" side order on our next visit (which really wouldn't have been free considering we paid for it in the price of the dinner). We think that it was a terrible consolation to offer a customer for their inconvenience. There was nothing extra offered for our trouble! We order carry out, and it's easy, food is always ready on time. The staff is pleasant. The only issue I have is, twice my mashed potatoes have been cold and not fresh. When they are fresh, the are the perfect consistency and seasoned correctly. Those 2 times they were cold, bland and gritty. Steak is always good! read more

This place is Awesome! I am usually not a big fan of the national chains, but every time I visit I am not disappointed! I usually get the Filet which is cooked to perfection. If I had anything negative to say it would be that the restaurant is a little small, so wait times can be a little long especially on the weekend. Go early! Overall - Love it! read more

Went here for my birthday Feb 4th. I usually have a really good experience but this was OMG. My grand daughter could have put the plate together better just look. This wqas supposed to be the steak and lobster (they forgot the lobster)? I also had a bloomin' onion that was so overcooked the onion within the breading was crunchy. Excellent service loved our bubbly young server she did awesome. It was Father's Day and of course you expect to wait we had a 40-minute wait no problem. We were seated and served promptly and service was with a smile let me say. The food was delicious and cooked to perfection. What a disappointment! Ordered the bacon bourbon salmon based on the picture and got an over cooked, piece of old smelling salmon with one small piece of bacon draped across the top. This is my go to place. We sit at the bar . I get a Coors light and he gets a coke. I get Alice springs chicken he gets the outback special. Hubby and I are regulars here . We have a spot at the bar we sit at, we know everybody here this is my favorite place to be . Probably safe to say we eat here at least once a week. Christmas time everyone gets us Outback gift cards lol. I feel at home here . The bartenders are great here Angie & Beth in particular. Honestly everyone is great that works here . We feel like family here and have been for 10 plus years or so. Also great from the menu, layered cheese fries, the grass fed burger, filet wedge salad (not on the menu but you can still order it) cheesecake (get it with the raspberry sauce) not to mention if you sign up with the Outback Rewards basically every fourth meal is Free .... you get up to $20 off no brainer here! Meh isn't the right word. While I never expect real steakhouse quality steaks at Outback, I also know that generally they can do a steak right on the cheap. My sister and I both ordered the prime rib medium rare and hers came out about medium-ish, while mine came out well-done. I immediately told our very nice server that my prime rib was nowhere near medium rare and she apologized, nicely, then told me that I'd gotten one of the last pieces they had and that was the closest they could get to my desired temperature. Say what? She did tell me that she could take it back, but I would have to order something else because they were now turning people away from the prime rib. Ummm ok. So why not tell me that at the get-go when we are all ordering so that I could make another choice and eat with my family? Disappointing overall. read more

Service was very good. The building was very clean. The setting was nice. Made reservation for 10 a couple hrs in advance and we were good. The reason for the 4 star is my cheddar broccoli had very dry cheddar and barely had any on it when it was supposed to be covered in it. All in all my ribeye melt with bacon was amazing. I ordered 2 wedge salads, and 3 Wednesday specials. When I picked up my order curbside, I asked her 3 times if she's sure everything was in the bag. She assured me all 3 times that it was. Well, I didn't get my drinks or dressing for my salads. I called and the manager first offered me $15 credit but each salad was $6, and each drink $2.50 so of course, that didn't even cover my losses. We settled on $20. Second, was the quality of the salads, brown lettuce and the difference in size between the 2 (see picture) was huge, one was double the size of the other. It is my experience at this outback anyway, that the "to go" items are always of far less quality that the eat in items. I guess they figure we won't be there to bitch. You'd be better off ordering it there then asking for to go containers. To be fair, I've never had a problem when we eat at the restaurant. read more

Medium Well w/garlic butter. Most times it comes out Medium Rare. ughhh!! if it's Medium and has Great Flavor and seasoning, then I will mostly say nothing and enjoy but 8/10, the $30 bone in ribeye I get is UNDERCOOKED & Seasoned! Had a wonderful dinning experience tonight! Just my sister and I and we both got the steak and lobster tail special. The lobster was so sweet and tender did not even need butter. We went to Outback for my 75th birthday, just my hubby and myself. We ordered the bloomin' onion as an appetizer and each had a beer. The onion was good, though certainly not diet food (dripping in grease). We both ordered the 12 oz rib eye steak cooked medium rare, Caesar salad, hubby had the Aussie fries, and I chose the baked sweet potato. Salad was ok, Aussie fries were just regular fries, sweet potato was good. BUT, the biggest disappointment was the steak. It was supposed to be a 12 oz rib eye, it might have weighed 12 ounces, but 6 ounces of that was FAT and grissel! Terrible, and undercooked, for medium rare, was very rare. We really should have sent it back, but I guess were too nice to make waves. Complained to our very good waitress, who said she would pass it on, but no compensation at all. Another couple sitting near us also complained about their food, and did not get any satisfaction. Sorry Outback, we certainly won't ever be returning. We could have cooked a steak dinner at home for much less cost, and a much better result and enjoyable meal. So disappointed to have wasted the money to celebrate my 75th birthday at Outback. read more
