    Mushroom bolognese

What a charming find while visiting Wyandotte! This was an old bank turned restaurant hence the name. Attentive staff, great hospitality. The food was delish: we had the mushroom bolognese and the wagyu steak. Their drinks were the main show however with great recommendation by our waitress.

I met a friend for a late lunch and at 2:45 there were a few tables still lingering. I started with oysters, as did my friend. The mignonette is the perfect accompaniment. I had waited to order a cocktail, and went with Pear and the Bull. So refreshing and light. Loved it! For our main courses we decided to get two handheld and two kinds of fries/sides. I got the sliced beef sandwich with sidewinder fries. My friend got the $10 waygu burger and polenta fries with garlic aeoli. All were delicious. The burger melted in your mouth. The steak on the sandwich was tender. Polenta fries were the best! Our server suggested creme Brule, but we had no room for dessert.

My wife and I spotted this restaurant and decided to make a go of it. The place used to be a bank back in the day. The place was stylish. We were greeted and seated promptly. Very pleasant. Our waitstaff displayed the tablets for drinks, then, the appetizers and entrees. It took a moment to get used to maneuvering through it. We ordered our drinks. When she came back we were ready to order. We ordered the Bang Bang Shrimp and Calamari as well for the apps. The first one was fabulous but we didn't like the calamari that much. While we were waiting for entrees, the waitress brought over a couple of mixed drinks for us to try (they were introducing a couple cocktails for the spring) - they were very good and it was a nice touch. The entrees arrived and they were well worth the wait. My wife had the Dover Sole Amandine - very flaky, delicious. My Tomahawk came out perfectly - medium rare. It was seasoned nicely and was delicious. We recommend The Vault and will be back.

Nice laid back atmosphere; waitstaff down to earth...very inviting! Clean restaurant; bathroom beautiful and clean. Food: pricey but satisfactory portions; the flavors of each dish were just as described. There is nothing i can complain about. I will visit again soon!

I know this place is regularly booked to capacity on weekends and holidays, but my fiancee made a reservation here on a Wednesday night (my birthday!) and we enjoyed a quiet, intimate dinner. The steaks were cooked perfectly (his med rare, mine med) to our liking, and the sides were very flavorful. He got the surf and turf and I told the server and the owner both that it was some of the sweetest lobster I'd ever had. I appreciate that the owner floats around to check on guests and chat. Very personable guy. Our server was kind, funny, and attentive. We look forward to our next meal here, and would certainly be back just to sit at the bar and grab a drink. Great interior, great people, great food.

We visited The Vault on a Tuesday night, celebrating my birthday. We made reservations and we're seated right as we got there. They have a great menu, and we decided to have the arancini as an appetizer. It was delicious. The fry on it was great and it was very flavorful. For dinner we chose to do the tenderloin Tuesday special for dinner. It came with soup and salad for each of us, and 4 sides. I chose the poached pear salad and my boyfriend chose the soup. My boyfriend enjoyed his soup, and my salad was excellent; the toppings on the salad were really well balanced and the dressing was delicious. We chose the broccolini, asparagus, garlic & cheese polenta fries, and potato Jennie for our sides. We both ordered the steak medium rare. The steaks were excellent. They were cooked perfectly and expertly seasoned, which most places can't seem to do. The veggies were good, and so was the potato Jenni. The polenta fries were awesome - defiantly the winner out of all the sides. For dessert I got the creme brûlée and my boyfriend got the turtle brownie cheesecake. Bother if them were outstanding. The service was stellar. Our waiter made sure our glasses were full, that we were happy with our orders and explained anything we asked. The manager also stopped by and we chatted with him for about 10 minutes. We will absolutely be back.

Extremely overpriced for mid food Texas road house as best. 181$ for 2 adults during lunch. Go to any other steak house instead.

We arrived early so we went up to the bar beautiful view. The bartender was just a Doll. A beer and 2 tiny margaritas $31 and change. Left to luncheon the drinks were really good so we ordered 2 more. A waitress went to go get them for us. We told her what we had just had. She seemed confused, but she was just the cutest sweetest thing. Comes back the drinks did not look the same again $31 and change. She left the two of us took a drink, and it was like watery cherry juice maybe? One in our group sipped hers to get the small pork chop fillet down. I don't drink mine. There was absolutely no way. It was a mixed drink, and there was absolutely positively no alcohol whatsoever taste in it. The salad was basic but good, the rolls were soft, the vegetable tray was over cooked and undercooked? It was odd. The potatoes were dry, the tortellini was good, salmon was good. Nothing actually stood out. Our meals were free so that helped ALLOT!!!!! As we were leaving, we seen the waitress who got our drinks and I had tipped her 10 bucks and I said that was the worst two drinks and biggest tip for what we got that was absolutely awful. And she was stunned and said sorry. I said no problem. I'll take it back up to the Bar. Unreal, same bartender from 1st drink. I set it on the bar and said this isn't the same drink you made like 1st time. She said oh the waitress must of used pre-made. Well it's awful and there was no alcohol. She said next time make sure you have us make it into front of you. Then you can see what you're getting. Alrighty. Done At the least put a shot in my watered down one and pacify me. Nope, So $62 and $25 in tips. I will try it once more.

It's also the perfect place to relax, release and renew. I have followed the lounge on social media for a few years. I had never made it out because it's quite frankly too far from my home. I truly wish that it were closer because I could definitely see myself becoming a fixture. The bar has classic cigar bar vibes with every appropriate pairing one could possibly desire. Since it is a martini bar, I simply had to order my favorite martini and it was the best espresso martini that has ever crossed my lips. It was rich and decadent, I was on cloud nine. Accompanied by a liga cigar, proved to be a dynamic pairing. The bartender is masterful. She's also a sweetheart, very cordial and welcoming. The humidor has every brand you could desire with lots of facings. I have yet to experience any events first hand, but Belicoso is wonderful to its customers as I have seen postings and pictures of fun customer appreciation dinners, musical performances, and celebrations. I can't wait to visit later in the summer when they celebrate their large street party. I plan to also return to see a live music band. The crowd was diverse, respectful, delightful and pleasant. What a truly excellent experience!

At the end, we ordered the chocolate cake dessert to-go; the serving very small for the amount they charge. Again, not worth it. Their website states "Downriver Dining Redefined". It's just another over-priced place to eat. You are largely paying for the "faux" upscale atmosphere. The owners seem to forget the fact that this is a Wyandotte community, not Grosse Pointe.
