Had dinner here and it was pretty disappointed from the start. Corporate should be embarrassed by having their name on this restaurant. Took at at least 15-20 minutes to get seated. They were out of bread and baked potatoes. One of the extra dishes they brought us was not clean and no steak fork was provided to cut the sirloin steak. Our server was ok but really messed up our order initially. Overall, the steak, shrimp and salads we ordered were good (unfortunately other things were not so good).

The bread and butter! Very tasty!

What a bummer to see that this place has such low reviews... I had an excellent experience! I would say just from reading other reviews, it was not busy during the time I visited and people seem to be upset about wait times when it is busy. So judge accordingly if you are going to eat here. I was in and out in under an hour. This location is inside the airport to the far right. At the other end is Margaritaville. I was sat at a window seat which I loved! My server came right away and I already knew what I wanted. I got my bread and drink right away. My server was very attentive and refilled my pop 3 times. My food came out hot and my steak was cooked to a perfect medium. The ambiance is cool here and there is plenty of seating! I would absolutely come back here if I saw they weren't overly busy! Great prices for being at the airport as well!

We went to the airport on Sunday and went to Outback. They had empty tables where you could see the many tvs. We asked to sit at one and were told no they weren't clean and they could not sit us there anyway because they had to divide up the servers. They sat us by the glass windows where we could barely see the TVs. It was not crowded. We asked if we could put on a football game and were told that they don't change the tvs. They had a lot of screens and there was one game on tv. Most importantly we ordered 2 chicken sandwiches and fries/ $22 ea. The chicken was so tiny and there was barely any lettuce. The pictures show 3 of the 4 halves of the two chicken sandwiches.

Really not sure why this place has such low reviews. It definitely does not have a full menu, but I would never expect such a thing at an airport. The food was prepared quickly and was definitely above average. The service was good and the sirloin steak was tasty. That was the only steak specifically on the menu. The wings tasted much better than they looked. This was a welcomed surprise in the Detroit Metropolitan airport. I had not noticed it before until I looked on the information screen for dining options

I had a meal at the DTW Outback on the day that, according to online news sources, was the busiest day in US air travel history. You could definitely tell it was a busy day for the Outback staff, because they had a long line waiting to get in. I sat at the bar, and it looked like it hadn't been bussed in a while. Then, I sat and waited. And waited. Finally, I placed my order and waited. And waited. It took 30 mins for my food to arrive. Thankfully, the broccoli was delicious, and the steak was cooked perfectly medium rare. The servers and bartenders knew they were in the weeds and gave me a discount without me even saying anything, which I appreciated.

It's airport food. Note, no steak knives here for obvious reasons. It's nice to sit at the bar, but those darn stools need some padding. People seem to enjoy sliding them and giving me a headache.

DTW may be my new favorite airport. Six stars if Michael is your server.

My ribeye was cooked perfectly and the mashed potatoes/asparagus had a great texture. The balsamic drizzle across the plate didn't do the dish any favors. I actually tried to avoid it as much as possible. The server and food delivery guy were both very lovely. Overall, it's a nice airport hotel restaurant. My main gripes are regarding the cleanliness. The black menu cover had grease smears and same goes for the black check book thing. Just seems like if you don't care to wipe those down, what else isn't getting cleaned? Nothings else was noticeably dirty. Just aged furniture that appeared dirty but ended up being nicks and chips.

The menu is somewhat limited but I was able to get a good meal there. I had a very healthy portion of Calamari, lightly fried with a sweet chilli sauce. For my main course, I tried their Steak Tips, which were very good as well. The tips were seasoned well and had a good flavour, and the portion size was fitting since the dish is more like an appetizer than a main course. I hung out for a while and enjoyed a couple of ice-cold beers and my food. The service was great and the food was reasonably priced for a hotel.

No choking was done here (thank god) but there were some things that jumped out to us. First is the setup, it looked like a place trying to be fancy when you walk in only to realize they give up on that when you get to the tables. Plain white walls with no seats at the high top tables near the bar and chairs in a disheveled manner, it looked like someone made a half-effort to clean the aftermath of a house party gone crazy for their parents about to arrive. Fortunately they sat us at a booth near the bar which thankfully was set up with silverware and such. As for service, we had an attentive server but she was handling the tables at the bar plus the bar itself and had to make all the drinks for people. Made me realize why I'm glad I'm no longer in the service industry with all the running around. My first glass of wine came quickly as did my dad's iced tea but refills took some time so yes, getting beverages or quick items took patience. I will give her an 'A' for effort as she ran faster than the Lions defenders trying to recover a fumble. Now the eats, we started with buffalo & sesame soy wings which my Dad loved but I thought eh, maybe it was the size of them and how some were crispy and some were tender. Afterwards, we got entrees: Me: Memphis BBQ Burger w/ Baked Potato and side of Broccoli Dad: Detroit Sliders w/ Onion Rings and side of Broccoli The burger was surprisingly tender and a perfect Medium and the BBQ sauce and crispy onions with bacon was a nice touch. Dad thought the sliders were ok; a bit bland. But he loved the onion rings as did I. The Broccoli was also tasty too; who says veggies have to be boring!? After dinner, we got a pecan pie for dessert (free dessert with check-in) and I added an irish coffee to help wash things down. The pie was excellent; the best part of the meal in my opinion. So the food is hit/miss but the food/drink prices are favorable. Plus the free dessert upon check-in is dope. Should I stay in this area again, I would probably pop back in for some cheap drinks and a quick bite.

The confirmation text didn't come through until we were already inside, which might be bad reception, but it almost cost us the table. Then they sat us right across from the back kitchen entrance. Banging, yelling, and an open doorway into the kitchen. Off-putting, especially with better seating clearly open. The food keeps the rating up. I did not expect a wings place, but the smoked wings were my favorite, right amount of crispy with good smoke. The sauce list is long and I couldn't pick a favorite. The ranch tasted house-made and it was amazing. The chikin soho was the other standout. Honey ginger glaze, chili dijon slaw, and pickles that all work together. Misses: the brisket nachos needed fresh guac and actual brisket, since there was barely any. The 6 cheese mac was fine but not worth ordering again. Prices were right for what it is, a bistro concept. It's in Wayne, which surprised me since I didn't know spots like this existed out here. Wide enough menu that I'll be back. Next time I'm speaking up about the seating.
