    We had a good experience at this Outback. TBF, we are expecting 6-10 inches of snow today, so maybe staff didn't show up as they freak out about snow? Anywho. When we arrived there was no one at the host stand and no sign to wait or seat yourself. We sat ourselves at the bar where one other guest was seated but there is no bartender. No worries, we have time. (btw, it's lunch time on a weekend) Bar tender arrives, brings menus, lets us know they will be back in a minute to take drink order. We try to be very percise in our orders so they know what we want and this bartender did an excellent job. They were excellent communicators and when they were with us they were totally focused. Not distracted. The bartender was very busy and not just in the bar area where there is both the bar patrons and booths. They seem to be needed elsewhere as well. Again, they seem to be short staffed and this employee was managing all the things. We both ordered sirloin steak (6oz) with baked potato and side salad. This steak is so tender. OMG. Good piece of beef. The salads were fresh. The potato well cooked. Salads were delivered by a food runner after about 15 minutes and our steak and potato came out 10-15 minutes later. Would absolutely return for a good steak. Private parking lot. Clean restrooms. Good steak. Good bartender.

    We visited this steakhouse restaurant for my birthday, and it was an amazing experience! The atmosphere was relaxed and inviting, perfect for a low-key celebration. The food was outstanding. the steak was flavorful, perfectly cooked, and absolutely delicious. The mocktails were refreshing and well-crafted. The menu offered a wide variety of choices, making it easy for everyone to find something they loved. Our server was attentive and friendly, adding to the great experience. And the birthday dessert wow! The chocolate caramel peanut treat was beyond incredible. Highly recommend this place for a fantastic dining experience!

    Rotten salad.

    Beware of takeout in Lowell store. They make a ton of mistakes that dont happen when we eat in. Most often issues are wrong orders, missing items, anf items incorrectly cooked. Just happened again tonight. Substituted a veggie without telling me. Thankful i checked in the car before driving away. Both salads had wilted and rotten areas. Likely prepackaged in the fridge too long. Meat undercooked a more fatty that i get in house.

    This is our family's favorite place. We've been coming here for at least ten years. The filet mignon and lobster tails are terrific. The baby-back ribs are great too. The chicken tenders used to be good but since the pandemic, the recipe is different and they are not great. My nephew swears the Mac-n-cheese is the best he's ever had. When it's peak dinner time, there can be a long wait for the food, but we come early and the food is great and comes out fast.

    The service - Zac/Zach - 2nd to none. The consistency of the "cook" abysmal. It's primarily a STEAKHOUSE one should know how to cook beef to the temp requested (on the other hand they can nail the shrimp for what that's worth). Medium RARE means medium RARE not medium well - not medium...sad - it's the ONE thing that should be excelled at. You may say why do you keep going? Because as wrong as it is it's still better than the garbage beef the 99 tries to serve and I don't want to drive 10 miles for a decently or well cooked steak. Ambiance was fine - consistent. Just need remedial chef/cook skills re beef

    Dirty celery and raw chicken. Husbands steak overdone and vegetables raw. Server not bad, just busy and didn't seem too happy to be there, can't blame him. Ambiance alright standard outback.

    As many people have noted, this place is really terrible. I've only gone 2x (1x for takeout, 1x dine-in) and NEVER plan on returning. I mean there is just a complete lack of customer service and a horribly long wait for really crappy low-quality food. The 1st time I went I ordered their meatloaf to-go, the takeout area is a tiny triangle with very little standing room and it was heated in like March, making it super uncomfortable and makes me question food temperature control for the takeout bags with food orders that are sitting there. After I waited 40 mins for 1 dish, I noticed it was just so barebones, barely weighing anything. And missing a sauce that was described on the menu and the potato soup was literally cold, as if it was pre-poured into the container and left sitting in the fridge. The meatloaf looked disgusting like what your high school cafeteria serves - a sad burnt-looking circular piece of fake ground meat. They also provided bread but it was cold and dry, likely leftover and sitting out for days. I went back to request the soup be hot, and the missing items should be corrected. I had to wait for the manager and he didn't say "sorry" he honestly looked unfazed and then they took another 20-30 min to correct the order. He claimed the soup is ladled fresh into the containers- then why is it ice cold? It wasn't any better, I think they just heated the soup container in the microwave, even though I asked them NOT to do that. I only went back a 2nd time b/c I had a gift card, dined in and the waitress took FOREVER to even take our order, also lacked any sort of pleasantness or attentiveness. The burgers I ordered they mixed up the sauces which is BAD b/c I'm allergic to mustard and mine had the mustard sauce on the bun. Fries were so dry and waitress never returned to check how the meal was. DO NOT COME HERE, go to the Chili's next door.

There have been a few…read morewrinkles that I will mention but am willing to forgive because the food really is so delicious. The feijoada is one of the best I've ever had. No off cuts that would scare away those intimidated by some of the more rustic ingredients that are sometimes found in feijoada. There are beautiful ribs and delicious smokey flavor here and nothing to fear or peck at. The condiments. The chef from São Paulo has a real mastery of condiments. His salad dressing will literally turn you into a salad person even if you don't enjoy or typically opt for a salad. There is a little vinegar-based pepper condiment for the feijoada that perfectly balances the wieght of the dish. Don't sleep on any of the little liquids in plastic cups that are served to you. They are all gold. The few issues I've had are regarding communication to customers. I've driven to the restaurant during normal business hours THREE times in a row to find them closed. On two occasions they closed early because it was a slow day. This is especially odd because their hours are lunch-focused as opposed to dinner focused. This is common in Brazil but I feel a little out of place in the U.S. Being closed for dinner is not great, in my personal opinion. Another time they were closed for participating in a culture festival, which is wonderful, but when I called before coming there was no automated message or any type of communication at all informing me that they wouldn't be open that day. It was irritating. Despite the above, when you can make it in, call to make sure they are actually there, and your visit will be well worth it. They are a tiny, family-run kitchen, and I'm ok overlooking to bumps in the road for superb food and very nice people.

Very clean space and fresh ingredients, I mean you can tell. The chef is super friendly and interact with customers frequently, I say that because every time I come here I see him talking with them. I think it's worth mentioning because I don't see a lot of that around, most places they're in the hurry and don't really give customers that special treatment. Its family owned and family oriented.

Then I realized that the very small number of reviews paled in comparison to the total number of people who had dined there over those 9 months - very likely a sign of not being dissatisfied. Seeing the restaurant at near capacity on a Thursday night re-enforced that. Actually, this was for me an even better experience. My party of 4 had a very enjoyable experience with no problems at all. Food and drink came out quickly. Our server was friendly and attentive. We all ordered some form of steak, and every order was done exactly as requested. My Longhorn Old Fashioned was made well and strong. The salads were large, the side vegetables were fresh and nicely seasoned. Yes, it's a chain, but in my opinion a better chain and certainly one at which steak dinners will be done right.
