It's okay. I know it's a soft launch currently but it's a 5 star if you've never been to a comparable steakhouse like Capital or Pellana. However if you have been to a good steakhouse it's a 3. The decor very reminiscent of sailboat with lighter teak colored wood and white subway tile. Steakhouses should be intimate, low lighting and have an "expensive" ambiance if you're paying 90 bucks for a steak. The steak was good! Sides were mid. There was a whole weird "show" they put on with a singular piece of bread starter delivered with tongs (should be basket lol) and make you pick your steak knife out of a cigar box (lol) the food should speak for itself and override these things but it was just a decent steak and mid sides. Steak more expensive than capital, sides cheaper. Overall not worth the pricing. If steaks were 40 bucks or something would be 5 star. Look forward to see if they grow or change cause they can't sustain the higher end clientele that traverse the fantastic steakhouses that blow prime out of the water only 15 min away for same if not slightly less pricing. read more

Nice restaurant with great ambiance! The server was knowledgeable and very attentive. The food was brought out pretty quickly despite how busy it was on a Friday evening. The portions were pretty big and everything tasted good. The steaks were cooked to our likings (my dad has the ribeye - he took a bite before I could get a picture). My espresso martini was on the sweeter side (I asked for very little baileys). I'd definitely go again. read more

My wife and I had been anticipating the opening of Prime 41. We follow a protein forward diet and steakhouses are our love. It was touted as a "high end" steakhouse and unfortunately fell short of that mark for us. We went on our date night the 11th. With our 5:30 pm reservation known, we were seated at a window seat next to the street. As we walked to the table there was a couple, both, face-timing people on there phones with both sides of the conversations coming through loud and clear. It's unfortunate that they were not asked to stop as it was bothersome to my wife and I. A "high end" restairant would never allow this to happen. Their conversations went on for awhile. Our waitress was pleasant unfortunately I forgot her name though. We both ordered drinks With my wife enjoying her NA cocktail and I had a somewhat sweeter Manhattan than I've had in the past. And then we waited, and waited for our appetizers. The waitress asked if we would like some bread and instead of leaving the basket handed us 1 each with a pair of tongs? I had to ask for a 2nd piece as we were at the 40 min mark for getting our apps. Bone marrow and toasted sourdough with no way to get the marrow out of the skinny bones. We had asked for the calamari which they did not have and settled on the chicken wings also. They were supposed to have be plated into 2 different styles being dry brined first then and glazed to order with choices of plain, buffalo and BBQ glazing. Ours came out warm and plain, rubbery if that's a way to describe them, but definitely not "precision-roasted and glazed" as the sauces were on the side. Not glazed as the menu stated. Both pretty disappointing. I understand they are new and were giving them the benefit of the doubt but the dinner we had been waiting for was a huge let down, which again we waited and waited and received, after many, "sorry for the wait's" from the waitress an hour and 20 minutes after arriving. There was a very light crowd on a Monday and early in the evening. I had ordered a scotch to go with the steak, again a long wait and it came out with the entree. We had the porter-house cooked MR and sides of mashed potatoes and brussell sprouts. Again after the extremely long wait we were looking forward to it, but received the filet side of the steak WD and the strip side M and the whole thing was just warm. How this happens, who knows. To top it off there was a line of sinew that ran through the length of the strip and the amount of fat on the steak was far too much for the cut. The mashed potatoes were COLD. I had the waitress take them back the sprouts were good though. For dessert we had the lava cake that comes with ice cream, Unfortunately there was no lava coming from the cake as it was also cold. Total time in the restaurant ended up being 2 hrs. On a Monday. And 200 less in my wallet when we left. The manager did do a couple of walkbys but really seemed more stressed than anything and not wanting to ask us how our experience was going. It's kind of a let down after anticipating the restaurant being opened for so long and having it fall way short of our expectations. Observations: Staff definitely needs more training, from the top down. The expo person that receives the dishes off the line, if there is such a person ther, needs to be let go. This person generally has more skills than the wait staff and can tell differences in the food. Nothing in a restaurant should ever, ever, come out cold unless it's meant to be that way, ever! I understand the "just opened" "still learning" and other excuses but with a manager who is attentive to the tables, and the wait staff and knows of longer wait times happening, these problems should have been close to non-existent. To say you are a "high end" steak house, at this point in time, is a farce. Want high end go to Post 1917, Capital Grill, Moo. Watch how the staff is interactive with the customer. how the food comes out quickly and is followed up by staff that want to know how everything was served. If there are problems they are addressed immediately and please don't say sorry over and over. Will we be back? Sure. It will definitely be awhile. Hopefully they can work out the kinks and quality and when we do come back I can change my rating. I think the 2 was fair though given the reasons stated. read more

Don't bother...over priced and the food is mediocre at best. Go to fishbones which is next store and the food there is awesome .I won't be back to prime 41 and I'm sure they will end up closing. read more

Visited Prime 41 for the first time today. 2 of us ordered the 6oz filet mignon and another ordered the skirt steak. Ordered a side of au gratin potatoes and Cesar salad and it was all spectacular. The steaks were all cooked to perfection and everything was so delicious! Service was excellent and atmosphere was beautiful yet cozy. Dining area and bar was very attractive. Prices were reasonable. Vanilla Crème brûlée was a fabulous finish. Can't wait to go back! read more

We went this afternoon, 3/29/26, as a gift to ourselves so we actually dressed for the occasion. We knew Prime41 soft-opened last week as we live in town. We did not make a reservation as their website clearly states 'Prime41 is not accepting reservations at the moment.' Also website has no hours listed, except "Closed" each day for M-Sun on Toast! The first thing we were asked at the 4pm opening time was 'Do you have a reservation'. And there were "no tables available, but possibly at the bar" only. Really?? Ambiance was barely looked at, and of course we can leave no comment about the food as we left. As we waited for restaurant to open, again, no hours posted on any doors, many other couples and groups were turned away, probably because they were also confused about times. Husband and I both noticed the neighboring restaurant, Fish Bones, was quite full by 4pm! We then shopped at Market Basket for top quality steak, baking potatoes, and asparagus for 2, for half the price of a single serving of steak at this apparently exclusive club. read more
