My review is from the point of view of a vegetarian, so it might not be the best review to go by when you're thinking about dining here since it's known to be a steakhouse chain. Came here to dinner with my mother-in-law, my brother-in-law and hubby. Hubby and I split the spinach and artichoke dip for an app and for an entree I chose the no rules Parmesan pasta. The server told me that I could get veggies with my pasta so I asked for veggies with it. The spinach and artichoke dip was okay, it wasn't memorable, not awful either though, just decent. (even though it's the most awful thing on the menu calorie & fat wise I think we were better off if we chose the bloomin' onion). The pasta was the same. The vegetables were seasoned really well but my pasta had more of a slimy consistency vs. a nice creamy consistency. My hubby enjoyed his steak, if I ate meat and ate his meal Outback might be getting 5 stars right now instead of 3. The bread was good. Our seating wasn't too roomy in the booth we were sitting in (maybe that's because we're a little fat!). On the weekends this place is pretty crowded, so be prepped for a wait. If I come back here I think I'd do better if I changed my meal, probably I'd update my review at that time too! read more

The app is incredibly user friendly, with all of the mouthwatering Aussie favorites you're accustomed to, and they are all right at your fingertips. You can also have the food left outside of your home for you, to assist with social distancing. Another major bonus during this pandemic. Right now any step in the right direction is a major bonus for all of us. The food was delivered in a timely fashion, within the parameters specified on the app. This was by far THE best meal we have had delivered since the COVID-19 began. The food was amazing! They include the same fresh bread and sweet butter that would be on your table in the restaurant. Nice touch. The French onion soup was made perfectly. The cheese was melted beautifully, and the delicate melding of flavors was ethereal. The cheeseburgers were prepared exactly to my specifications, and the Aussie fries were nicely seasoned. The best was the chicken on the barbie. Texture was nice, temperature was perfect and the presentation was exactly as it is in the restaurant. My friend Vanya is addicted to the cheese fries at The Outback, so it was off to the Steakhouse. I like the Outback, it's ok. While she was in heaven with her fries I went with their chicken wings which surprised me with such flavor bursting out of it. For my main course I went with their signature steak which was ok. It was my mother's birthday and we weren't even greeted at the door or seated by a worker. I had to walk up to two female workers who were at the bar, on their phones fucking around and being lazy. There was no type of welcome inside this restaurant so we were automatically Turned off and annoyed. The food also didn't look that great and my steak was over cooked. Here on Long Island it has been so cold, so I really didn't want to cook! My boys have been screaming for Outback (they love the chicken wings) since our outback closed (HUNTINGTON). We decided to stop there tonight (but we did take out). I must admit I was a bit nervous because our old outback was SUPER SLOW, and the employees were so RUDE when I did take out. But I worked all day and I had 3 hungry boys so I went for it. -1st the order was ready when I arrived (in Huntington we ALWAYS waited). -2nd the food was hot -3rd we had napkins and utensils -4th all the extra things I asked for were packed so nicely in the bag But the best thing was the lady who helped me. She took her time and went through everything. She was so pleasant and even talked to my boys while she was checking the bags. She even went and got the extra butter my 7 year old requested. I hope I get her name right but I think it's Lisa MAC. She is kinda tall, blonde hair, oh and she wears glasses. This this was my first time going to this Outback Steakhouse it's in a convenient location but it was very dark and it was very cold. The waitress was very nice and helpful but we were sitting behind a party of 6 people who constantly was negative about everything including their lives I assume that they are just plain miserable. The food I give it a C+ the steak was cooked well the mashed potatoes was okay the crab cake kind of sucked coconut shrimp sucked as well. The strawberry lemonade taste like a cup of diabetes it was horrible so was the cranberry juice. Would I go back again I'm not sure about that. It wasn't worth $93. read more

I'm sorry to review so poorly but someone needs to take responsibility for ice cold food and a swampy mess of a blooming onion. Door dash has been delivering food very poorly lately. So I decided to use the 'pick-up' feature. Ordered 2 filets and a blooming onion at 2:57pm to be picked up at 4:30pm. I arrived at 4:15 and received ice cold filets, oil drenched cold fried onions and ice cold bread. I called Outback to find out it's not their fault. It's Doordash's fault. I can't tell you how annoyed I get over incompetency. Everyone should know, according to Outback, they receive the ticket at a time that Doordash thinks it should be printed in the kitchen so that it will be ready when the user wanted to pick it up. So if doordash thinks it'll take an hour, in my case, it'll print the ticket at 3:30 so it would be ready at 4:30. But if the kitchen cooks the meal in 15 minutes that means it's sitting there for 45 minutes before it gets picked up. $80 down the shitter. I don't truly know who's fault it is, all I know is that no one takes responsibility. I mean the baked potato was cold inside, that stuff is like lava! It takes forever to cool off. read more

So very disappointed with this Outback. I have to be gluten free and always had an enjoyable dinner at Outback but not this time. They didn't even have the GF menu. I had to listen to a waitress read off the very few options from her phone. Of course, no GF bread on the table nor did they have a Gf bun for a hamburger. I asked after the pork medallions they used to have and this too has been discontinued. I ended up ordering a Chicken dish and wish I hadn't. It was so over spiced that I couldn't eat it. Celiacs could always count on Outback but no more!! I will not be going to any Outback again and if I can't eat there, my friends will not eat there. I know gluten free requires a bit over and above but restaurants need to realize that Celiacs have to eat too! shame on you Outback! read more

One of our favorite Outback locations. The food is consistently great. The steaks are usually (9 times out of 10) cooked exactly the way you ordered them. For a restaurant that is so busy most of the time, a slight bit over or under is acceptable on the rare occasion that it happens. Love the Bloomin' Onion and the Cheese Fries as well. Also very impressed and appreciative that the kitchen staff still knows how to make the Tiger Dill sauce which has probably been off the menu for many years now. The staff is upbeat and personable. They are very tentative and usually have a drink refill on it's way even before you realize you need one. In the 15 years or so that I've been eating at this location, I can only recall one time when our to-go order was not correct when we got home. Thankfully, Allison, the manager went above and beyond to make up for the issue. We continue to dine at this location. They definitely get two thumbs up from us!! :-) read more

My wife and I arrived at this location close to 6pm. We had a party of two and requested to be seated at a table if possible. They told us the wait would be around 35 minutes. By 7:20pm and still not seated and watching numerous groups that had arrived after us be seated we complained to the hostess whom made the excuse that another group at a table has been there for over three hours and they can't tell them to leave. I guess that were seated at the only table. Finally after waiting over 90 minutes we were seated at a table but it was difficult to enjoy a meal when you have to shovel it down so I could finish and get ready to go to work! On top of that when I got my main course it was missing the lobster tail ! The manager finally agreed to buy one of the meals but my point is that he shouldn't have too. Bottom line : Food is great, waitress staff is good, ( actually , our waitress was very good and pleasant ), the hostess and wait time is ridiculous. Me and my family went to dinner for my sisters birthday, as soon as we got there it was a one and a half hour wait then after we were seated we were waiting for the waitress for over 40 minutes , and on top of that the bread was cold and stale. When the waitress finally came over, she felt like she was in a rush and was walking away while we were talking to her. When we finally got our steak (which took 1hour at least) I asked for medium well done and I got a red steak. This place was way better than I remembered. I really wish I could give it one more star, but the service...ugh. I come here pretty often, at least once a month. The food is pretty consistent, but the service is super hit or miss. I was here on a Tuesday night with my parents and boyfriend. We ordered 4 appetizers, 4 entrees and each added a salad. Right off the start the waitress was personality-less, just not someone who should be a sever in my opinion. The appetizers were really good we had the ahi tuna, coconut shrimp, crab avocado stacker and the boys got wings. All came out timely and tasted good. Same with the salads. There was a pretty big gap of time from salads to dinner, which we didn't mind so much because we all used the time to digest. Everyone at the table got some kind of steak entree, I went for the mahi-mahi. The fish was definitely bad, and they easily let me switch it out for the chicken. It came out and that was fine. Everyone finished 'cept me. We ordered a dessert and one coffee. 20 minutes later...coffee another 20 minutes later...dessert and finally a container to wrap the rest of my meal. Instead of apologizing, the waitress snapped saying she was yelling at the kitchen and ran off. 5 minutes later...check. We asked to see a manager who was SUPER nice, and hooked us up by taking a bunch of stuff off and giving us a $20 gift card. 3 stars but potential 4 if they can train the staff to be a bit nicer. read more
